This is the second visit for me and my son. The staff made it very easy for us to navigate everything, especially for a young child getting glasses for the first time. His prescription was high, and for a child just getting into glass they made it easy and helped answer any question that we had.

I have been shopping with my 6 year old for glasses for a while. She refuses to wear the two pairs I already had for her so I needed something good that she likes and is comfortable. I stumbled on eye and vision in ashburn and we were so lucky we did. The most helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. We were in and out super quick (which I really appreciated after a day of glasses shopping) and we are very happy with our glasses. I had to followup with a question about the (great) warranty and they were just as nice on the phone. We will def be returning for eye exams and when new frames are needed.

Really like Dr. Kapoor but consistent issues with the office staff (this time they didn’t run the insurance properly and tried to tell me I didn’t know how my insurance works) that it is just so frustrating

Your entire operation is a LIE!!! Your staff represents you as knowledgeable ophthalmologists when you are Optometrists!!! You have NO special training to assist with any complicated case. “Dr” Kapoor is a JOKE who should not even be allowed to prescribe glasses let alone attempt to diagnose an individual she is obviously not qualified to understand!!! The young lady that assisted me was most helpful!!!!! I just needed my glasses adjusted. But she told me that they do not accept my insurance anymore, which I did not know!!!! It is time for me to get new glasses and with her help she gave me the names of insurances that they do accept. And she adjusted my glasses perfectly!!!!!

All was great except for some reason I get charged $175 for a so called "Contact Lens Evaluation" which really didn't amount to anything. I remove my contacts for the entire evaluation and put them back in to read the chart one last time. How is that $175??? NOT HAPPY and the only explanation I received was that everyone does it that way? REALLY?! To me, that's just a way around getting more money for a routine check up.

I waited 45 minutes before I was even seen. Then another 30 minutes back in the room with the doctor and another 15 minutes at check out while they ran my benefits. I have never in my life been at an eye appointment waiting for that long or waiting after an appointment to run benefits to see how much I am to be charged. I also don’t think i am in the correct prescription strength and i have to go back for a follow up next week. Another thing i never have had in my lifetime of wearing contacts, a follow up appointment to even get my contact prescription. I always go in for my appointment and they write me my script on paper to take with me. Ridiculous. I will not be going back or recommending to anyone

Dr. Smith was very thorough in explaining what was going on with our 2yr old’s eye. She not only took her time to ensure he was comfortable with the process but even made it reassuring for us. I’d definitely come again and would recommend her. She was awesome!

The prices are way to high! The exam costs one price. Fittings for contacts cost 75.00 on too of the exam. Another 39.00 fee for required pictures not covered by insurance. Another 35.00 fee for something else they require that’s not covered by insurance. Should not cost 200.00 out of pocket for an annual exam.

Dr. Kapoor and her staff are truly exceptional. They are very professional, courteous and patient. Dr. Kapoor listens intently to what is being said, explains very well what is going on and details solutions as to the course of action to be taken. Even though the practice is pretty busy (and for good reason) I never feel rushed. Phella (sp?) at the Ashburn location and Sherry at South Riding are quite pleasant and great at explaining benefits and breakdown of charges. I completely trust my vision care to Dr. Dimple Kapoor.

Welcoming, polite and helpful staff. They thoroughly explained the procedures and the insurance part of it. They presented and explained a number of available choices of treatments along with the probable out of pocket cost. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The wait time is awful. Every single time that we have been there, the wait is 20 min in the front and then another 15 min at the back. This is inspite of a scheduled appointment. It is ridiculous if someone who's taken an hour off from work is not able to get back on time. A very frustrated customer.

Front office staff not great. Was there two hours and still had not ordered glasses. Sony was juggling multiple people in lieu of finishing out one customer at a time. Horrible customer service. Dr. Kapoor was great but the support staff is not.

Although it is quite annoying to put up with the urban “sprawl” currently engulfing Dr. Kapoor’s location, her expertise and welcoming attitude when treating her patients is definitely worth braving the outdoor construction confusion! Her staff is friendly, inviting, and very helpful. I would absolutely recommend this office to one and all!

Eye & Vision Care Ashburn was very welcoming to us, especially as new patients. We were given the doctor's and the service team's full attention, and the whole team was friendly and involved as my husband and I chose our new glasses. They rushed my order since my prescription had changed so much, which was greatly appreciated. We would recommend their services to anyone in the Ashburn area.

Not sure why it took 2 appointments to get contacts. I feel like I way over paid for the exam and contacts. I could have gotten it done at Costco for cheaper even though they don’t take my insurance.
