I had a great first visit! I went in for a consult regarding LASIK surgery. The entire staff seemed happy and were friendly. Dr. Minkovitz was very knowledgeable and spent enough time . I’m looking forward to my surgery next week and will update review.

It usually is an ordeal going to eye doctor because it would take 2 and a half to 3 hours to see the doctor for 10 minutes, The parking is terrible getting in and out of the lot. This time however when I had my app on 5-31 I was out a little more than and hour, which was great andd I hope this continues.

I have been seeing Dr. Glazer for many years. My macular degeneration has been stable. She and her staff have always be kind, sensitive, encouraging and thorough in their care. I have never had a negative experience. Granted getting an eye injection is unnerving but Dr. Glazer and her staff made it easier to be the recipient.

My appointment was scheduled for 7:30am and was an eye correction consultation. I was seen at the time of the appointment, which is extremely important. Good job. The staff was friendly and informative, another important element for me. Good job. The doctor and staff did a great job making me feel comfortable and were enjoyable to be around. Most importantly, the ensured I understand all the benefits and addressed all my concerns. The also explained the risks. I left the appointment having all the information needed to make an informed decision.

It was a terrible experience. i will not be back to see Dr Richards. She had me wait over 1:15 minutes with no apology and the check up was terrible. I am not confident in the prescription due to the very hot room causing the machine to continually fog up. The only redeeming part was the technician who first saw me was very pleasant.

The technician who initially saw me was courteous, personable, and explained exactly what tasks she was performing. In taking my medical and prescription check she went over her wording with me to be sure it was correct. As always, Dr. Ko is professional and explains my condition with terms I understand. I walked into a full waiting room and thought my wait would be long, like at least an hour. I checked in and sat down. Less then 5 minutes later and they called my name. They took me back, checked my eyes and put me in a room to wait for Dr. Glazer. She came in on less than 5 minutes. I think this may have been the quickest I've ever been in and out of any doctor appointment. And I did not feel rushed at all. Dr. Glazer is amazing. I do wonder why the staff seems to change every time I go, but even so I have always had a good experience in this office. I have been there almost every 3 months over the past 4 or 5 years.

For the most part, my appointment was okay. I had almost no wait to be seen, the eye tech introduced herself and seemed very competent. When she asked me if I wanted a refraction, I didn't know what that was. She explained it would yield the information for me to get glasses. I told her I didn't need glasses. I was then seen by Dr. Richards. She said she was told I didn't want a refraction. I still was unclear about that. I told her I was told when I called for an appointment that I would be receiving a Comprehensive Eye Exam. She pointed to some of the machinery and said it was usually a part of an exam, it would give me a prescription for glasses which I didn't have to fill if I didn't want to. I said sure. I didn't think I needed glasses because my distance vision has been miraculously fine since my cataract surgery with Dr. Minkowitz, and over the counter reading glasses are all I need. Dr. Richards told me at the end of the appointment that everything looked okay.

Very pleased with service I always receive. I.m not sure, but I believe the first person taking care of me failed to wipe machinery before servicing me. The only reason I knew was because the second person completing exam wiped--smelled alchol. I only say this as learning lesson-I believe tech was being trained. No complaints--just an observation which I hope will be a learning tool--I am a retired educator (smiles).

I know I have a very good doctor, Dr. Jeffrey Minkovitz, and I am very glad. He does a very good job. Though me and my wife (we have appointments together back to back) had to wait for an hour I still rate the service we had a 5-star. Maybe next time we'll call the office ahead and ask for the present waiting time so we can adjust our arrival accordingly.

30 minutes after arriving at 2:13 for my 2:15 appointment, I was taken back to an exam room. That’s a long wait to be seen. I never saw Dr Otojare until I had been there nearly an hour and couldn’t get dilated because I had another appointment at 3:30. pretty inefficient and definitely not respectful.

She took her time with me and even made sure that I was leaving with a product that was more cost effective than what I was using in the past. I always appreciate the friendly, helpful staff at Eye Physicians during the several tests leading up to the Doctor's exam. I especially appreciate the always-personable, friendly way that Dr. Minkovitz greets a patient and thoroughly goes through the exam and recommendations and options for treatment. It's always easy to see how very busy he is efficiently moving from patient to patient and yet he makes you feel like you are his only patient that day. His patience in answering my questions helps me understand things way better and makes the visit always worth looking forward to.

Once I get an appointment and get to the office, all is well. However, getting an appt. is very difficult. I think you need more doctors so that appts. do not have to be made several months in advance.or several appointments have to be made in order to receive all of the tests needed instead of one appt. to do them all. Very inconvenient and time consuming for the patient. My doctor wanted to do everything in one appt. but the schedulers couldn't do that.

In an environment where patients must serve as their own advocates and medical services are commoditized Dr. Glazer has stood out for diagnosing my health condition from an eye exam and then advocating for me with y PCP. She and the prep assistants also cheerfully go the extra miles to provide comfort during and information about procedures (monthly injections and laser cauterization). The front office staff consistently is friendly and hustles, April has been extra helpful on several occasions. As info, months ago there was one prep assistant who strayed from the routine protocols; although I did not say anything at the time, she was not present on staff at my next visit. I think this speaks well about the practice.

As always, I was treated very professionally and efficiently. I have great confidence in Dr Ko. For the first time since starting the eye shots I did experience some discomfort at home after the treatment (bloodshot and tenderness) and called the office after hours. I bring this up because the Doctor that responded - Dr Lamb couldn't have done more, we missed his initial calls, but he persisted and finally got through late Friday night. He offered to meet me in his office, but I chose to wait until the next morning. He called again Saturday morning to offer follow-up, but I was better and found it unnecessary. He could not have done more.;I was extremely impressed with his professionalism.

To be clear the organization that now exists as Eye Physicians and Surgeons was not chosen by me. I am a legacy from Steve Franklin and would not chose this organization as it exists today. The organization has no respect for the time of its customers or patients. Lets start with this survey. I am not sure of the purpose of the survey. Are you looking for a review of the medical interaction, it was excellent - both the technicians and MDs. If you are looking for a review of the organization and management getting us into the offices of the medical/technical people it was rotten - just incase the term isn't clear there was chaos in moving from waiting to medical site to medical site and long confused delays. The question about did you have to wait to be seated makes no sense - where? In the waiting room? Isn't the proper questions how long did you have to wait to be seen by a medical professional? In the waiting room, or what should be the waiting room you have folks delivering and selling glasses who take up space and add confusion to the waiting area. In the second waiting area it is crowded in a confused fashion. The chairs were to close for comfort and one or two people waiting were standing. There is no assurance that you are in your proper position in the que. One of the patients when I visited got quite agitated because it took to long for him to be seen and he thought that he was taken out of order. A large monitor showing where we are in the que would be useful.

Dr Otojare is very friendly and explains issues very well. The office is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. Waiting time was about 10 min which acceptable. Wait time should not be more than 10 min.

My previous appointment before last week’s, I left after the tests and waiting to see the doctor. I had waited over an hour. My visit before THAT one, I also waited over an hour and told the doctor. I told her, and she said she hadn’t known I was waiting, and that it would not happen again. Well, it did. Actually, last week’s visit was to get the results of the tests on the day I left. As I said, I again waited. An hour. I will add that I am not the only unhappy patient in that waiting area. The difference is that I left. One elderly patient was very concerned that she would miss her transportation. Another patient offered to take her home. Is the practice too big? Understaffed? Then, don’t overbook. I plan to leave the practice, after over 40 years of going there. Recommend to others? No.

I was seen quickly by a technician, which has never happened at previous visits. I was not able to see the letters on the screen due to the angle at which they were placed. I feel the technician did not believe me since she kept pointing to the screen & questioning the fact that I couldn't see the letters. She had me sit on a pillow to raise my viewpoint. She only fixed her machine when the pillow did not aide my view. Then the machine which reads the prescription wasn't working as quickly as she expected. I mentioned a test (OCT) which Dr. Minkovitz stated would be necessary & she once again made me feel she did not believe me. When I saw Dr. Minkovitz I was confused by the medical language he used. He went to medical school, I did not. He checked my prescription for glasses. He said it was the same as the year before yet I could not read the vision machine. He could not explain this situation. He did not try to figure out why I couldn't see the letters. He just sent me to the desk where you order glasses. The woman at this desk said the centers were off on the glasses I have been wearing for a year. I did not notice anything out of the ordinary for this entire year that I have been wearing these glasses. I left this appointment dissatisfied with the care provided. I did not understand the status of my retina, results of the OCT, or the status of the cataract in my left eye. I was not given information on my eye pressure except when I asked. The answer was OK. And I definitely did not understand the issue with reading the letters & my glasses being not centered.

After waiting 2 hours to see the doctor, I left. The very crowded waiting room in the back was nearly full with no space between seats. COVID is spreading again and I was very uncomfortable sitting next to a woman with a heavy, frequent cough, even though she wore a face covering that was required. Too many appointments were booked for the same time slot and patients were backed up waiting to be seen. I needed to return to work, so waiting even longer to be seen was not an option.

I arrived on time for my appointment, and was made to wait for over an hour before I was seen by the doctor, even though the office seemed to be empty. When the doctor finally came in, it was clear that she was sick. That is unacceptable in the midst of a pandemic. I would much rather she cancelled my appointment than to put me at risk of infection. In any case, she did my exam and handed me a prescription. I asked if it had changed from my existing prescription, and she shrugged. I just wanted to know if I needed to get new glasses and contacts. Those items aren't cheap, so I don't want to waste the money if I don't have to. The tech had measured my glasses, and the doctor had just done the exam, so I thought it would be a simple answer. Either way it deserves more than a shrug. She was clearly annoyed by my question, and Instead of saying "it's gone up or down by X amount" like every other eye doctor I've ever been to, she told me to put on my glasses and compare it to the exam machine. I couldn't tell the difference. She said something like "then it's up to you. Do what you want." When the tech asked me about why I was visiting I mentioned that I had a cloud in my eye. The doctor had said nothing about it, so after the exam I asked the doctor "what about the cloud in my eye?" She said "yes I saw it while I was examining you." I said "ok... and is it bad?" She said "it's a floater." Again, she was annoyed. I asked what a floater is. She said something like "It's a floater. Everyone gets them." That is not the kind of explanation I would expect from a physician. I think it's perfectly reasonable to be concerned about a recurring cloud in my vision. I left extremely dissatisfied. The office staff and tech seemed to be very competent, but this doctor has no "bedside manner" or professionalism whatsoever. I will probably be getting a second opinion from another physician to find out what a "floater" is. I will not be coming back to this practice.

Dr Minkovitz carried out a Toric monofocal procedure in my right eye on April 5. Two weeks later my vision improvement continues being dramatic. The double vision and blurry "stars" have disappeared completely in the right eye, and there is a great difference with the left eye (scheduled for same procedure in another week. Personnel at the Wilmington office and at the surgery place near Hockessin are very professional and competent.

I came to Dr. Glazer-Hockstein's practice hoping to better understand Age Related Macular Degeneration. I did in fact get answers/explanations that other doctors had failed to provide. Dr. Glazer-Hockstein spoke to me in medical terms I could understand. She took time to 'listen' and 'respond' to what I had to say. She suggested steps I could take to help in reducing the progression of AMD if and when I develop AMD. I found Dr. Glazer-Hockstein to be compassionate and genuinely kind; --- characteristics not always found in doctors. This doctor has so impressed me that I want to be under her care. I told the young lady at the front desk to please schedule me for an annual exam next year with Dr. Glazer-Hockstein. I feel fortunate to be her patient.

Waited 1.5 hours after initial workshop before being seen by doctor - was told by staff that I’d be next, then another 8 people got called, and then I was told at the desk that the doctors are “a little behind today.” It is the next business day and my prescription medication has still not been ordered. I was forced to choose between 2 follow up appointment times on the same day, neither of which are feasible with my work schedule, and the staff threatened that I would not receive medication unless I confirmed a follow up appointment. The service and efficiency here has gone way down hill, and I love Dr. O but dread having to come back here.

Upon my examination she called in Dr. Glazer to do an additional exam of my right eye. Dr. Glazer squeezed me in as she had a full schedule and Dr. Otojare was knowledgeable and very kind. I can't adequately express my appreciation for the thorough attention that I received; I have a follo- up appointment in April for another Evaluation. Your firm's attention to starting a patient's examination/treatment reasonably close to the scheduled appointment time is conspicuous. My examination started about 10 minutes after the 10 am appointment time. My appointment was my second one with Dr Pathek. She is as charming as her predecessor (whose name I don't remember) whom I accused of being only 13 years old. I told Dr Pathek than in comparison, she looks elderly, perhaps 15 years old. At my age (88), flirtations provoke laughter rather than harassment accusations. I have for many years admired your efficient use of space, like the way corners of examination rooms have been partitioned to create closets (with hallway entry doors) for pieces of equipment used by technicians for preliminary examinations. The first piece of equipment used in my examination yesterday was NOT in one of those closets -- it was out in the hall. This is a further advance in use of space. It would be nice to have a narrow empty shelf on the wall above the equipment, with a small basket for eyeglasses, a magazine, and/or a handbag. The volume and channel selection control for the waiting room TV should be on a chain or cord adjacent to the TV. A nearby list of channel selection opportunities would also be helpful. I would expect most of your patients to avoid too loud or too obnoxious channel selections. Or your greeters could be instructed to turn down the volume now and then.

Dr. Fudemberg is an outstanding physician and an expert in glaucoma disease. Previous to being Dr. Fudemberg’s patient, I had been seeing a doctor (optometrist) at another large ophthalmology practice in Wilmington who prescribed glaucoma medication (that I was very allergic to) despite my glaucoma exams indicating no need for medication. Dr. Fudemberg interpreted the results of the glaucoma tests (repeated under his supervision) correctly and at this point, I have no need for medication but he is watching how the results progress. Patients in your practice are very fortunate to have access to Dr. Fudemberg without having to go to Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.

The doctors are great. However the wait is not. It seems that there are too many people scheduled at the same time. I waited for a long time without getting the dilating drops in my eye. Then saw the doc then got the dilating drops and had to wait again. I was there for a full 2 hours. I am thinking of changing back to the old office I was going to that doesn’t take my insurance because they are more conscientious of time.

A most Highly Professional and polite staff and doctors. I received one of the most comprehensive diagnostics done by an extremely polite and patient staff. The modern equipment and the skills required to operate them is impressive and placed me at ease that I was receiving the necessary attention and eased my apprehension about having my eyes 'worked on'.

A very professional operation from the front desk to the techs and doctors. Courteous; respectful, and friendly. All staff took their time to explain various procedures and provided friendly assistance when needed. Never felt rushed or confused. Results were explained at my level of comprehension even if it took multiple attempts to clarify. I always felt that my interests were given a top priority. Excellent place to get a full range of eye care.

I had fine prompt service on Wednesday, 1.26.22 I would like to ask Dr. Richard’s about the multiplayer of eye flashes that I have had Oct. - Nov. 2021. What would cause them? And are they of concern? I asked that question of the two support staff who preceded my eye exam but forgot to ask Dr. Richards. Could she please reply to this question? I was there for 2 hours and was given a very thorough exam. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I had asked to have an appointment with Dr. Minkovitz to discuss cataract removal (he previously removed a cataract in my left eye and put in a permanent lens) and I was seen by another doctor. I was told that he was not in, even though I had specifically asked for him when I made the appointment. I will say the staff is doing a good job, under the circumstances, with several employees out that day because of Covid. Everyone is very pleasant and professional.

The service I received from the beginning of the visit to the end of the visit was absolutely wonderful however, my appointment was at 12:00 and I did not get out until 2:00. I think two hours is a long time for any appointment that does not include surgery. I was very impressed with the individual care that Dr. Otojare gave me. I felt like she was really concerned about my eye care. I was also impressed that everything I needed was offered at your facility. That is a PLUS

Thanks for asking my opinion. I was in your office for two hours and fifteen before I got finished. I was never given an explanation except by the young lady that worked with the doctor who apologized for being late. I have been with this practice for 30 years and my appointment in 1/4/2022 was horrendous. It took about three hours to be seen and completed. I was not met with great service. I often had to ask what was taking place or what was happening instead of being explained to me. I did not have any trust in any of the people helping me, all except for the person scheduling me. I didn’t know how expensive the outcome would be, luckily I had my mortgage payment still sitting in my account but I had to borrow to cover the funds. There was an elderly man who was being seen before me that had an artificial leg who was complaining about how long he had to wait and wasn’t being treated with respect. No one came out to explain to me or him why the appointment took so long, what was happening with the staff, nothing was said to us until we asked and complained about it, the techs had little knowledge of what they were doing and I had to ask what was being done to me. The man that was seen before me did comment that he will not be returning and I think that I will be looking for a new eye doctor as well. My children were in the car waiting for me, I had to bring them inside where they ended up falling asleep in the chairs, they hadn’t had dinner yet and I still had to go home to let my dog outside. My appointment was at 5:20 and I didn’t get home until 9 pm, way past my children’s bedtime and my dog had to use the bathroom and we were all starving! And I should have at least received a discount for this service but I ended up spending $175 for a fitting and I don’t even know how much the contacts cost, and we’re expensive because I was prescribed something different than I was used to. This experience was a nightmare and the people who were seen last night including myself should at least be refunded at least part of our copays since we had to endure such horrific treatment. And I had to stay so that I can order lenses and my pain in my eye wasn’t addressed at all

It takes way too long to see Dr Minkowitz after arriving on time for an appointment. This time, I waited about 20 minutes to see a technician and an hour and a half after my appointed time to see Dr Minkowitz. Last Spring after waiting over 2 hours I had no more time to wait so I left without seeing him. You should schedule visits so no one waits at all after their scheduled time before seeing someone and no-one should wait more than 30 minutes to see their Dr.
