The optometrist was kind and friendly and appeared to be well educated. My appointment was conducted quickly without making me feel rushed, and I left feeling well informed. The other staff were also friendly and helpful and did a great job in assisting me find glasses that fit me properly and looked nice on me, while staying in my price range. I would absolutely recommend them and will return myself when necessary.

Great service from everyone! The doctor did a very thorough examination and listened to my concerns with the glasses that I got from another shop. The gals at the front desk were also very nice and professional Very happy with my "new" glasses!

Staff was very friendly! Greeted upon arrival, check in was very quick. Doctor was very knowledgeable and thorough. Did not have to wait very long to get seen, it was a great experience overall! Will definitely be recommending this office to family and friends!

This was my first visit to Eye Mart and it wont be my last, the staff are very good at what they do and very knowledgeable and helpful, it is very nice to enter a place of business that greets you with such kindness after a stressful day. The ladies as you first come in are so nice and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about the products they are selling. The eye dr is very knowledgeable also. They all take the time and really listen to your needs and concerns. I refer people to them whenever I get asked about an eye place.

The ladies that work the front desk were very pleasant as well as efficient, both before and after the optometrist exam. The Dr. was pleasantly conversational. We discussed my vision history and the issues that may present later. As for now, everything looks good inside my eyes, and my prescription has changed very little. They even had frames that fit my giant head (7-3/4”) hat size.

Quick, easy, and judgement free. Set up an appointment and the whole experience took 30 minutes. Hadn't been to the eye doctor in decades but the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable and explained things well. The exam was reasonably priced and so were their glasses.

The dr. was very precise with his examination of my eyes even showed me a picture of my right and left eye to help explain my results. No other eye dr. has ever done that before. It was very helpful to have the pictures and test results given to me that way.

All the staff was friendly and very helpful in pick out our new frames for our glasses. We was very comfortable with both the Doctor and the staff. The Doctor was very informative as to what he was doing and explained after the tests as to the results.

The doctor was very good. He explained things so well and showed me the pictures of my eye as he did this. I have never had an eye doctor who explained so well. The new script help me to see so much better and I had an wow moment when he showed me the difference from old and new. I thank you for the treatment I received in the Ottumwa. They finally had eyeglasses big enough that I will not see the frames as I did from the ones I got at least two years ago. Mary Ann Lobaugh

I may have gotten the best eye test ever! All employees were pleasant. The cost of lens for my glasses, (I used frames that I already owned), was greater than if I had purchased complete glasses. I thought that was unreasonable.

It was an amazing experience. I was actually in there only to ask what my insurance covered. She explained. And asked me if I wanted to be seen. I didn't have an appointment. The doctor was very thorough. And patience and explained everything in detail. Even about a concerned I had. He explained is not dangerous. I am very grateful and satisfied with the experience.

Friendly and Detail Oriented People! It's a pleasure to know businesses that still care about the customer exist and thrive. I've been using EyeMart for 4+ years and they've been wonderful. It's great to have somewhere that I can go and know that I'm going to get treated friendly. The eye exams are done quickly and professionally. The glasses are done right the first time. No trouble focussing or being told I need to let my eyes get use to them like I have had at other optical outlets. It's always a great experience when I visit.

The Ottumwa staff was very patient and courteous. Not only did they give me a call so I could have my appointment early, but they helped me find a pair of glasses that fit my style. I felt no judgement from the fact I had not had an eye appointment in 6 years. The doctor was also very forgiving of the constant blinking I couldn't help during the exam. I will be sure that my next exam is done in the same location.

Was unhappy that I had to wait so long after apt when I stated I was finished. Usually have help in picking out frames. The Davis plan glasses are shoved in the back room and they just sent me back there and forgot about me. When it came to ordering. They didn't ask if I wanted to make any changes. In my lens preference. They did ask about single vision or bifocals. But just ass Med the rest. In the past my service was excellent. The doctor was awesome. Explained everything. 😄 I had to ask how long it might take to get in and for a copy of my script.

The ladies at the front desk were friendly and out going. The Dr was very personable. The wait time was very minimal. Less than 5 minutes. I was only back there for 20 minutes or so. Went on my lunch break was back at work on time. They said my contacts should be there within a week. Over all a very pleasant experience.

The doctor was awesome but I did have a problem with one of the ladies at the desk. I don't have a driver's license so we (my disabled mother and I) had to take a cab. We got there 5 minutes late and one of the ladies came out and said she had already marked me as a no show. She said it really rudely.
