The secretaries were welcoming :). The optician who took care of was very kind and sincere. She gave me the knowledge and options I needed to make the best decision for myself concerning the type of glasses I needed. Also, I love how the person who sized me for my frames not only helped me get fitted but was detailed about how much everything would cost with the eye exam and procedure I had, I recommend ECP to anyone who asks me about eye doctors and/or glasses.

After seeing floaters in my eye for 24 hours, I became concerned and phoned the Lancaster office. I was given an appointment right away and saw the doctor that afternoon. After a thorough examination, she explained thoroughly what was happening. Fortunately it was nothing serious. I've used this office several times and always have been happy with their service.

I was taken in for the start of my eye exam at the scheduled time and had a thorough eye exam by both the staff and the doctor. The doctor showed me the pictures they took of my eyes and explained what I was looking at in the pictures. The best part of the exam was when I was told everything was normal and no issues were found!

I felt very uncomfortable, I have anxiety after my visit because I was told I am at risk for glaucoma. My entire visit was with a technician that couldn’t even finish the test because she didn’t have the instrument charged ahead of time. Very unprofessional. I was told they’ll do it next year. Even though I had numbing drops put in and dilated eyes. When the Dr who I never had before came in she didn’t even introduce herself. Then she didn’t even do a regular eye exam. I am baffled

Was very satisfied with the doctor that treated me. The only problem I saw was when I went to get the glasses. The man told me where to look for the womens glasses. Gave me a tray to put the glasses I chose and I sat back down and waited for hime to come back. In the mean time he came back and went to another lady to help her instead of finishing with me first.

I had some doubts on my past eye exam visits at another very popular eye care center. I always felt rushed and felt it was not as thorough as I thought it should be so I decided to give Eye Care Professionals of WNY on Transit Road (Lancaster/Elma area) a try for my eye exam. I was very pleased with how the exam was conducted! I found Dr. Gambacorta to be very thorough. She made me feel comfortable and wasn't rushing through the exam. She took the time to answer all of my questions and in a very pleasant, professional manner. I will continue to go to Eye Care Professionals of WNY for my future eye exams.

The exam went fine; but when I purchased ma set of new lenses, I thought the price was to ohigh. I was assured that it was the right price. Then, within a couple of weeks, I received a check from you with no explanation. I had to call up to find out I was overcharged. After a month, I inquired to see when my lenses were ready I was told there was a error in making them and it would be a couple of weeks. Another month went by and I had to call again, and was told that an email had been sent. Unfortunately, you use/used a different header and my email program put it in the spam folder. I mention this because I get all your other emails; just not that one.

The woman who took my daughter in was very abrupt and appeared to lack patience.. rattled off her instructions on what to do for the glaucoma test. When my daughter didn’t follow it exactly she basically told her to forget it rather than reiterate the instructions.. please be patient with new or any patient for that matter. Easy 5 stars! Very pleasant staff from calling for an eye appointment to walking through the front door and taken back to get my annual eye tests and exams. Dr Michelle Gambacorta explained fully and concisely her findings and my options for eye wear and I had been very satisfied with the answers Anne my course of treatment…There was only a very small change in my progressive reading lens but everything else had remained the same. I really really like my 2 frames I had purchased there over 2 years ago and wanted to just switch out the lenses …. The optician had stated that with my eye coverage I can get a new pair of glass frames at no cost which was great, but the other pair I have is not going to be covered and can cost up to $800 dollars… unfortunately with COVID sticking around longer than expected, ecp didn’t have the promotional deals as they did before COVID hit in 2020…. I hesitantly decided to go ahead and place the new lenses in my old frames that I really really love and after returning home from the appt, I called them back just 15 minutes before closing to Chang my mind..,. A very nice young lady by the name of Ashley helped me out at our me at ease when I asked NOT to order the new lenses for my frame… my husband just died 6 weeks earlier from a long battle with cancer and since my vision didn’t change much, I’d stick with the Free frames that will have the slightest adjustment on my progressive lens… A special SHOUT OUT TO ASHLEY AT THE LANCASTER LOCATION for promptly stopping that charge to my Card and being able to refund it back to my MC … this put me at ease since I really only needed the one pair. Thank you Ashley! You guys Rock over there! Stay safe and continue the great services you offer from over the counter as well as behind the counter!

Staff was prompt to return call about an eye issue I was having, got me in that day. Front desk was super friendly and helpful. I appreciated the ability to feel safe with all staff and patients masked. Had a few pair of glasses repaired, they cleaned them up and even did extra tweaks to bring back all pairs to like new! I have been a patient of ECP for many years with Dr Blackley, who has retired, as my trusted doctor. So it was with apprehension i went seeing a new Dr, Dr Bradley. I was very impressed with her care and time given to me and detailed explanation of each test. I feel i am in good hands with Dr Bradley. If i have one ongoing criticism it’s that their prices are very high although saying that i have nothing to compare to.

Frankly, my experience with you has been disappointing. This is my first time getting my glasses with you. At my first appointment I was told your printer was not working at the Dick Road office and I would not receive a paper copy of my bill. Nobody sent me a bill. I was told it would be a few weeks for my new glasses. A month later I had heard nothing and called only to find out my glasses would not be ready for a few more weeks. Again, I asked for a bill but did not have one sent to me. My initial appointment was on 12/28. I did not receive my glasses until 2/17. On the 17th, the only person I talked was the receptionist who finally printed off my bill. I handed her my glasses to get the lenses cut and she handed them back to me. Nobody checked to see if my glasses fit or not. The $353 price was $100 more than I have ever paid for glasses. 3 days after finally getting my glasses the lenses became cloudy. The right lens is completely cloudy, the left lens has a 1/2 inch wide stripe on it. I returned on 2/28 to have the glassed looked at and I am waiting for new lenses. So it is now March 1 and I still don't have my glasses.

I had been in an automobile accident and had damaged my glasses. The lenses had fallen out several days later when I attempted to straighten the frames. I arrived at ECP without an appointment but was seen in a very short time. It was explained to me that the frames were badly damaged and might break in an attempt to straighten them. As a result, the frames did not break but were in a very fragile condition. I was not charged for the repairs.

This review is for your eye glass professionals. You have a good business, but have all your eye doctors need to join the Empire Plan. Yours are not in the network and I had to pay outside network fees. I won't be coming back to you for exams because of this. I have to take additional eye tests outside of the regular tests.

I am becoming more and more displeased with ECP. My doctor blew threw my exam hardly spent any time looking at my eyes. No feedback whatsoever from her at all about my eyes. She never addressed the stuff that I told the assistent and I forgot to ask. And there is only one section with affordable frames. $69. There is no in between with this place. You have $69 glasses and then $250. Most of the time I get my script and go elsewhere because I cannot afford your frames. So if ppl start leaving your practice this is why.

I was very pleased with most everything at my appointment. The woman who checked me in was very cordial and professional. And Dr, Gambacorta is always professional and thorough. The only negative I have is that I asked if there way anything I could do to help with my left eye tearing up and neither Dr. G nor the woman offered me any suggestions and unfortunately it didn't occur to me until I was almost home. They both did ask if I was using any eye drops and I told them no because I didn't know what would be the one for that.

stopped in on Saturday because something is wrong with glasses as they are blurring up and cannot get clean. Was informed I needed an appointment and might not be able to see anyone but was taken care of and they cleaned glasses & sent me on my way. By the time I reached home I had the same problem but did not have the time to go back so all weekend I have been without glasses. Something is wrong with these glasses. They were purchased on 9/9/2020 for $1248.00. I need them fixed

I love the doctors but the wait time appears to be getting worse every year. Over a 1/2 hour wait and your the 2nd patient is not good customer service. I understand they may be short doctors.
