The staff worked me into the schedule for the same day.There was no hesitation,an immediate phone call was given to me after leaving them a voice mail.Dr. Foner was through as usual.He took me right away on my arrival. Dr. Foner and his staff are top notch professionals. Dr. Foner is thorough in explaining any questions or concerns you have. I have had issues with ocular migraines, dry eye, and was concerned about retinal detachment at one point, and his expertise and knowledge for all these concerns was outstanding. And that in turn gave me tremendous comfort. His staff is courteous and helpful from booking an appointment to finding the right eye frames for glasses. And for me it took a lot of patience on their part. I highly recommend Eye Care East for family and friends.

My entire family has been an Eye Care East patient under the great care of Dr. Marc Foner and his staff for many years. Superb care and service is what this office consistently delivers. Dr. Foner is very thorough with his exams, making sure you understand every process to the exam, frequently asking if you have any questions for him. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and have been with the practice for many years. I wouldn't think of going somewhere else for glasses, contacts or my yearly exam.

Been wearing glasses for 67 years and I can say Eye Care East provided the best 'get my new glasses' experience. The young woman who helped me (Christine?) adjusted my old glasses until they fit me like they were new. She was totally patient as I sorted through dozens of frames, tried them on, and sent a pix to my daughter for a thumbs up or down. They were on time for my appointment, courteous, knowledgeable, and kind. I highly recommend them.

My visit was great. It had been quite a while since my last exam. Brian greeted me and explained how the visit would unfold. He did some preliminary tests on me explaining things further as he went along. Upon arriving I was greeted at door and reminded to wear a face mask, I was glad to see eveyone wearing a face mask and I also wore one. I'm not sure of the secratary's name ,she is always there to let the Doctor know when you arrive and she obviously runs the office. she is always friendly and appears very competent( well I quess she would have to be if she is running things!) As always Dr Marc Foner is very helpful he explains the tests as he gives them. At end of tests he gave me my perscription,for reading and distance. Can't wait to get my new glasses! Patricia Curry

Everything was well until I checked out Monday. I just didn't feel that a needed the eye dots for 39.00. I had seen a retina specialist 8 times during 2020 and prior to my visit 2 weeks prior, I have had many sets of pictures taken. I did explain this when I setup the visit and to the person that put the dots in. Dr Foner was great as was the person that showed me many pairs of eyeglasses.

During my visit, everyone there took measures to keep everyone safe in this time of pandemic (wearing masks, use of sanitizers, equipment that minimizes physical contact while still evaluating the inside of the eye, staff members being very careful to open doors and encourage distancing, and more). As during past visits, Dr, Foner answered my questions, listened to my concerns, and explained carefully. A staff member gave me much time, helping me choosing new glasses frames, satisfying my requests for bi-focal lenses, clip on dark glasses, and a transitional darkening/lightening feature. I never felt rushed, did feel safe, and consider myself lucky to have the help of Dr, Foner and his colleagues at Eye Care East.

I’ve been going to Dr Foner for a number of years and have always been happy with the quality of the service, friendly staff and the personal feel of the practice. In the age of big chain stores and mass marketing, it’s nice to see a small practice still doing what it takes to meet each patient’s needs on a personal basis. I like Dr Foner’s style and caring attitude and I appreciate that he takes the time to explain what he’s doing and why it’s important. They may not be the cheapest place to buy your glasses, but they provide a level of service that is above and beyond anything you’ll get at a chain store. I came back to Dr. Foner's practice after seeing a different specialist. Honestly, I don't know why I thought I needed to change doctors. My best go-to reading glasses came from Dr. Foner's prescription. I used the glasses for over ten years, until I left them at a business meeting in a hotel. When I went back the next day, the staff had thrown them away! Happily, I saw the friendly, customer-oriented atmosphere had not changed a bit since my last visit.
