Professional, Quality, Painless, and Very Sanitized office ! Dr. Cheng just finished my 2nd crown dental implant…all went very well! It’s a drag I had terrible dental work as young adult so as a result I unfortunately needed dental implants. Got thru with Dr Cheng and Dr. Wanatick gifted surgery and dentistry ! Highly recommend!

I was in residency with Dr Cheng. He was the best and the brightest even back then. As a dentist myself, that is why I am willing to travel 3 hours each way to be seen in his office. When I lived in Europe for approx 15 years I planned trips back to the USA to coincide with my annual checkups because I refused to find another dentist. I have seen Dr Cheng since 1993 and can't imagine seeing another dentist.

I was filled with trepidation before coming to Dr. Cheng's office, however, the second I met Amy, I knew I was in the right place. She was warm, friendly and kind. She took my temperature and blood oxygen level. The office was clean with the necessary protocols for preventing Covid-19. Dr. Cheng was also warm, friendly, kind and very informative. Dr Cheng and his Staff have taken Covid-directed sanitation measures well-beyond what the recommendations made by CDC and the Dept of Health (use of electrolyzed water disinfectants, air purifiers in each cubicle, defoggers, air quality monitors, N95 masks, faceshields, etc). Melani, my hygienist, was very gentle, efficient and extremely thorough with my dental cleaning. I am very satisfied with the service rendered to me. I am grateful that my dental health is under the care of Dr Cheng and Melani.

Dr. Cheng & staff, thank you! I called you when my jaw swelled up out of nowhere and I was able to get an appointment immediately (as I have in the past for an emergency). The COVID-19 procedure prior to entering the office was professional and once in the office all the safety precautions were explained in detail to me from both Dr. Cheng and his assistant. I was VERY impressed with the level of these precautions before, during and even prior to my leaving. Thank you Dr. Cheng for seeing me so quickly and making me feel comfortable during my visit. You knew immediately it was not dental related and told me who I needed to see and you asked me to get back to you to let you know what my doctor told me. I greatly appreciated your care and concern. Grand finale of my emergency root canal...tooth was completely comfortable, infection completely gone, post inserted, not a painful process but i am home feeling good, novacane wearing off... Dr. Cheng said all is well with root canal..i feel fine so win win! Look dental work isn't a "walk in the park" but him & Jessica made it as comfortable all three appointments. This one was in a fixed bridge so little tricky but Dr Cheng did his magic and It all went good!

Dr. Cheng did my implant (which was a tricky situation) and He saved my husbands tooth from a prior dentist wanting to pull it Out!!( I insisted my husband see him for 2nd opinion and Dr. Cheng was able to repair & save his tooth from extraction over 2 years ago! his tooth is still fine!) I had a terrible toothache and swollen face on December 26 (office vacation time) and Dr. Cheng opened his office and did an emergency root canal and got me on antibiotics and was relieved pretty quickly. He checked in the next day (again on his vacation day to make sure I was ok), So we Are big fans of His!! He's quite conservative in his technique and He's quite a gifted dentist. No nosense here at his practice, just quality dentistry! He also has a Great Support Staff!!

It's hard to find a good dentist and since I moved to NYC 6 years ago I still only go to Dr. Cheng. He personifies "The Art of Debtrisry". He was also able to refer me to an awesome Endodontist because he didn't have time for a root canal. I've had a number of root canals/crowns thanks to another dentist's incompetence and you won't find Dr. Cheng's high tech equipment or attention to detail anywhere. All of his work (esp the crowns) have held up beautifully and I expect they always will. If you think filling a cavity is simple it's not - my former dentist didn't fill cavities correctly which led to those teeth needing root canals. There was so much work any other dentist would have probably pulled them. I spent a summer in Dr. Cheng's chair and he saved my teeth.

Dr. Cheng is a terrific dentist who takes the time to explain all of the treatment options and recommends the one he thinks will be the best for you. He takes his time with every patient and makes sure that the patient is comfortable and informed. He and his staff are also always available to speak with you or squeeze you in when an appointment is needed despite their busy schedules. Dr. Cheng has trained his staff well and they place a high level on patient services and satisfaction. Though I have not been the easiest case for them, they always greet me with a smile and treat me with respect. I can't recommend Dr. Cheng and his office enough.

Another example of Dr. Cheng's team being very professional. Had an appointment for my usual six month cleaning with Melani. She inquired about a recent foot surgery I had and then said we should check with the surgeon to make sure I didn't need to take a prophylactic antibiotic. I was able to track down my doc who said it was fine to have my teeth cleaned. I appreciate that Melani had me check and this only served to confirm my faith in Dr. Cheng and his team.

You will not find a better dentist than Dr. Cheng. I was on a medication that caused dry mouth and many cavities. Another dentist didn't fill them properly and I wound up with severe infections needing many root canals. Dr. Cheng saved my teeth I'm sure any other dentist would have pulled them because it involved a lot of tedious work. Thank you Dr. Cheng! The doctor also has the highest tech equipment I've ever seen in a Dentist's office. His assistant Brittany is the Bomb! I moved to Manhattan and still see Dr. Cheng. All the work he did healed perfectly and all the restorative work has help up beautifully.

I’ve always felt confident in Dr. Cheng as my dentist. I’ve had fillings, one past root canal & crown & one he’s currently working on. He’s very thorough, works expeditiously but never rushes you in & out. He explains things as he finds them & actually asks if you have any questions & understand what he’s saying. I find him to be both skilled and thoughtful in his work. He puts you at ease and fully explains and discusses the options. His office is modern & immaculate. His staff is very friendly & accommodating. If you can’t get the exact appointment time you want, they do actually call you if there is a cancellation! I have also needed to see him on an emergency basis & they’ve always found time to fit me in & follow up to see how I’m feeling after any major work has been done. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Cheng without hesitation. He is most definitely a tooth saver!

What a wonderful experience at Dr. Cheng's office. Staff are all so helpful and pleasant. On top of that, Dr Cheng was so kind and wonderful in allaying my mother's fear of her dental care. I have known Dr Cheng for over 20 years. We did our residency together and he has been my dentist ever since! Even when I lived in Europe, I would plan my visits to the US in such a way I could see Dr Cheng. Dr Cheng had a reputation among us as a perfectionist. No detail is too small. He is a caring, excellent dentist with wonderful skills and integrity. On this past visit I also saw Melani for a cleaning. She is an excellent practitioner as well. Emergency Visit-Dr. Cheng's office was able to fit me in for an emergency visit after I cracked a tooth the week before the July 4th holiday. Dr. Cheng took an x-ray to rule out root canal and proceeded to drill out what was left of the tooth. Novacaine shot did not hurt. Walked away with a temporary for now. I feel Dr. Cheng is very competent and caring. He also approaches dentistry by always wanting to do the right thing for the patient keeping cost in mind. Highly recommended!

I met Dr. Cheng at the recommendation of a close friend. As I visit him for the first time, he was exceptionally friendly and listen my long dental history before he started to Examine. After a thorough examination he recommended to consult before he would recommend his plan.

Dr. Cheng and his staff are the most compassionate, knowledgeable and overall so genuine in the care provided to my most anxious daughter, Lauren. They treated us with respect and honesty- he explained our options and gave his expert opinion. Dr. Chen allayed some of Lauren's fears by exposing everything prior to doing anything. He also treated us in a non-hurried manner which was so greatly appreciated.

Dr. Cheng truly cares about the health of your teeth and will go out of his way to try to help achieve it. His staff is friendly and are easy to work with. In addition, they will find a way to fit you in the schedule if possible. There are many dentist's out there, but truly Dr. Cheng and his team are the most professional, caring, and friendly.
