We are very happy with the service we have received from Dr. Nathan Welch both now and in the past. Both Sherrie (in the past) and I have been to see him. Dr Welch is very professional, friendly and explains everything. He has answered any questions we may have about our treatment. At one visit I was at the Burley office when he found a tear in my eye. Because he did not have the equipment in the Burley office he asked me to meet him in Twin the same evening to have it fixed because he was not going to be in the offices for the next few days and didn't want me to wait. I have been very satisfied with all my visits.

My review is about my appointment for November 25, 2016. I received a reminder on Thanksgiving after noon. My ailing husband insisted on coming to drive because they usually dilate my eyes. We left Wendell and had to travel through all the Black Friday traffic. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment to a dark office. Sign on door said office closed. I hope all you who work in the office had a nice weekend!!!! Virginia Watts

I found the office and nursing staff to be courteous and efficient as was the doctor. I appreciated that he talked to me about what he was doing and why, during my exam and procedures. Thanks. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Only two criticisms - I was taken in to a room to have a procedure and never saw anyone for at least 1/2 hour. Also, the assistants in training seemed very uninterested in the procedure gazing off in to never never land.

Greeting me was excellent, front desk was great, dr appt was great, upon leaving at check out trying to make future appts. I apologized for my confusion said I have some dementia the 2 gals looked at each other grinned a bit of snicker which was offensive. I went sat waited for my husband to returned he assisted with appt for pre-op and surgery dates.

I am very satisfied with Dr. Nate Welch. He is thorough, and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. Perhaps scheduling could be assesed? I might just be there on busy days, but my waits have been 1-2 hours. Staff is very pleasant.

Plus: staff is friendly and knowledgable. Waiting room is clean. It feels professional. Minus: Waiting time is always much too long. Waiting room has a blaring TV that seems out of sorts in a professional environment.

It would enhance your service to more accurately set appointments to the actual amount of time required by the physician. Making patients wait denotes a lack of respect and is inconsiderate. Ninety percent of my visits I have spent at least an hour waiting. Other patients waiting have made remarks as well! They have demonstrated frustration and unhappiness. Patients have the right to expect the best service from their health provider including time spent in the waiting room!
