I had an appointment and all I did was wait. I made an appointment for a reason. Your time is not more valuable than mine yet you treat it that way. My annual eye appointment took 3 hours. My father, mother and sister went to a different eye place and the whole visit was less than 30 minutes. Guess I will be going to their eye doctor in the future. Once I was scene, the staff was nice and helpful.

I'm so thankful for Dr. Davis and the time and attention she spends with each patient. I brought my daughter in for headaches and when we discovered her vision was 20/20...Dr. Davis gave us so many answers to what was most likely going on. I've been to eye doctors since 1985...as a first grader...and I've never had one like Dr. Davis. She uses the health of the eyes to answer so many questions about the whole body. She is truly a gift to our little town!

Dr Nancy Davis is a gem in the middle of an oasis. Her skills as a wholistic optometrist is unique and absolutely needed. She takes the time and listened to me. She didn't just do the usual of "which one is better", she talked about the health of the body can be seen in the eyes, and took into account the entire patient. I, personally, have not met a eye doctor like this before. And her staff also goes above and beyond to treat everyone with respect and kindness. Sara(h)? is wonderful at the front desk. I have not been in great health for the last 3 weeks and she listened and helped. I absolutely, positively highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed, and you will get the best care you have EVER gotten at an optometrists office.

I’m back to Roanoke Eye Care. They are the best. I was with someone else for a yr. and then it was time to get glasses. Glasses were ordered in Jan. and when I got them I couldn’t see with them. So reordered and got them back after the 6th week and still couldn’t see with them. It took 6 weeks to get my sun glasses back and couldn’t see with them. So I came back to Roanoke Eye and those glasses were to strong. I have a new prescription and have glasses on order. Never in my life have I had to wait for 3 mo’s for glasses.

I love my Dr, but I am frustrated that I have been in twice to conduct my eye exam and have not yet been able to complete it all because of lack of equipment availability and then the second visit went way past the time of appointment and again didn't finish my testing needed. I am being asked to come back in again to complete the test and then have a consultation with the Dr. Each time I have been required to pay $45 office visit for things that are not within my control. I should have just been charged one time for an office visit. Not three times.

This was such a great experience. It was my mother's first eye exam at this clinic and she was treated with the utmost personalized service. From the reception, eye exam to the selection of glasses, everyone was very patient and really listened. The support staff were very friendly and professional. Dr Davis was very knowledgeable on my issue and very detailed in her exam of my injured eye. I would definitely recommend to others and will be a return patient if the need arises again for treatment.

Dr. Davis is absolutely the best optometrist I have ever seen. I tried to find an in network doctor closer to my house and had a poor experience with long waits, inattentive staff and poorly fitted contacts. After a couple of tries, I ran back to Dr. Davis and will pay a thousand dollars if I have to to see her. She is amazing!!! I’ve been seeing Dr Nancy Davis for the past year after being referred by mother who has been seeing her even longer. The entire staff is very welcoming and helpful all the way from the waiting room to checkout, and of course everything inbetween. Not only do I not have a single complaint any time I visit this office, but I also get more than I expected because Dr Nancy takes the time to kindly and thoroughly explain even beyond the intention of the visit. She has a lot of knowledge to offer, and even after moving an hour away, I still make the trip to see her!

My family and I are long-time patients of Dr. Davis for at least 12yrs now. I have been wearing glasses for 35yrs, and Dr. Davis is the best optometrist I have had, by far. Her interest in your total health for how it affects eye health is refreshing. I had nothing but trouble with achieving clear vision with by astigmatism before seeing her, but she was able to correct that. She is also great with kids!

I had an appointment to see Dr. Davis on Saturday at 10:00am. I arrived and signed in at 9:55am. There were two other people in the waiting area ahead of me. I filled out the paperwork and waited. At 10:55am, I decided to leave. I informed the woman sitting at the desk that I would just need to cancel the appointment. She replied, "Okay, sorry about that." I said, "It's okay, thank you." And then left. So I waited an hour for nothing. The woman at the desk was not particularly busy or overwhelmed. She didn't say a word to me or any other waiting patients (there were 5 people waiting by the time I decided to leave) regarding the delay. Furthermore, she didn't bother to ask if I wanted to reschedule for a future date when I said I needed to cancel the appointment. When I wait in a doctor's office for an hour with no updates from the front desk staff to indicate that extended wait is abnormal, I am left to believe that is just the norm for that office and they are use to it. I can't provide any information about Dr. Davis because, well, I never got to see her. As far as the staff and communication goes? I think one star is generous.

My only complaint just happens to be my biggest pet peeve. When I book an appointment for 4:00, I expect that to happen. Not an hour after. My time is more valuable that that. Not the doctors fault but the staff that over books. Really liked Dr. Davis. Very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough.

I won't trust my eye care to anyone else. Dr. Davis is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the need for various tests and, more importantly, the results of the tests. I'm 51 years old and she has been able to keep me in contacts without reading glasses and has been carefully monitoring early signs of glaucoma.

Thank you for trying to diagnose whatever this is on my eyelid and sending me on to a 2nd specialist. Unfortunately, they would not fit me in until next Thursday even after I re-emphasized that this condition had been going on since May 25th and that there was infection present. She asked me if I was on antibiotic, then said they had nothing until Thursday. :( I just want it gone or at least to know what the heck I am dealing with.

I am a patient of Dr. Davis but I came in as a walk-in on a Friday afternoon because of an issue I had with one eye. The entire staff was gracious and made arrangements for me to see the Doctor. Throughout entire visit everything was explained fully. I am not well versed in any type of medical knowledge but the methods by which conditions were explained I could understand fully. Each step in the exam process was handled very profesinally and in detail to where I felt complely comfortable with the whole process.
