I have been seeing doctor Dr. Jeff Sciberras for over 20 years now, and I have to say hands down he is a excellent Optometrist. He has the latest in technology, and he always goes above and beyond my expectations. I am an older man and prone to macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye diseases which I do not even remember. He always takes his time and listening to my concerns and then addresses them. When emergency situation arises he makes himself available whether in person or by phone. His staff is friendly and always makes me feel welcome. They are always a pleasure to deal with and help me find the perfect frame based on my head shape. I would absolutely recommend this office for your eye needs and concerns.

I was able to see Dr Sciberras earlier than my scheduled date due to a cancellation. i had done my on-line research since i needed to change from my prior optometrist and Dr. Sciberras stood out because of the quality of his examination. I can attest from my new patient perspective that he exercised extreme care; great professional courtesy; ensuring that i understood what he was doing at each stage; ensuring that I knew what the results meant. He was brisk but intensely professional; he made copious notes. I had selected two frames with the help of his assistant and in a very neutral way, he helped me make the choice. Overall I had a very positive experience. My eyes are precious to me and he helped me understand that the few things that were of concern to me do exist but that they were at a stage that would not cause me any worry.

We had a great visit. My husband and I went with our 2 boys...the appointments were quick and the staff was great with the kids! They were great with me too (helped me pick out a new pair of reading and sun glasses) We always have a pleasant experience. I had read Dr. Jeff's reviews prior to making an appointment to see him, I had several issues with my eyes along with lots of questions. I was hoping all those questions would be addressed during our appointment. I must admit that the doctor listened to me and addressed each and every issue that I presented. He ran several tests to check the health of my eyes and answered all my questions. I was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. The only constructive criticism that i would like to suggest is that the doctor should give a bit more time with the eye test when using the reading chart as the patients would like to take their time and go back and forth before confirming the letters on the chart. All in all, a really satisfying experience.

I discovered that he is very knowledgeable and very good at his craft. He is a good listener and has very good social skills. His office staff are also very helpful and friendly. I visited the clinic during Covid situation. Great measures were taken to ensure everyone's safety such as checking body temperature, sanitizing the clinic every few hours, etc. Dr. Jeff did a thorough check of my eyes and answered all my questions. My first visit to see Dr. Sciberras, was perfect. I am a new patient, having been referred by optometry centre that did not have an available appointment until the middle of the following month. When I arrived at Dr. Sciberras’ office I was greeted and seen right away by another optometrist, to register as a new patient. I did not wait long for care, even though there were other patients there, including families with children. I appreciated the technology that was used during my examination and pre-exam, in addition to Dr. Sciberras’ precision, expertise, demeanour, and process of including me and my needs in this, my first visit. He selected frames for one pair of glasses that I require, and accommodated my request to use my current frames for a new prescription that I need. Thank you Dr. Sciberras and team!

While doing some early morning work around my house, I got some debris in my eye. Doctor Sciberras was the only optometrist in the area that was open and willing to see me right away. As soon as I walked into the office I was given an eye drop to numb my eye which gave me instant relief. After completing some basic paperwork, I saw Doctor Sciberras and he quickly removed the debris. He then did a complete eye exam to ensure there was no damage to my eye. Great experience and I would highly recommend him.

Dr Jeff and his staff were excellent at performing a comprehensive eye exam for my wife and I at an affordable cost. My wife and I were looking for a more thorough and detailed approach to our eye exam and this is exactly what we found from Dr. Jeff. After reading the reviews online, I was convinced Dr Jeff's clinic would be our best option for a thorough exam. His online system was very easy to use and he had weekend availability (which is very important to us since we work 9-5 during weekdays). Staff was great. One lady took all of our benefits and OHIP info while we waited for the doctor. The other girl preformed the pre-tests on us. Great use of time! Dr Jeff was very thorough performing several tests and having excellent attention to detail to make sure our prescriptions were accurate. I was really impressed with all the technology he had at his fingertips and he was even able to e-mail my wife and I a copy of our retinal exams! Will definitely return in 24 months and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Dr. Jeff is thorough, discusses his diagnosis and equally important he discerns the vision requirement and prescribes accordingly. Examples: "Thorough" - he detected my "dry eyes" condition and not only that, he noticed that one eye was more affected than the other .... something that had passed the notice of previous Optometrists. The drops that he prescribed were targeted at this particular condition and brought relief. "Discussion" - he took the time to explain his findings of my retinal images [previous "others" just told me that all is good] and showed me a comparison of the good vs bad retina. Dr Jeff even gave me the option of trying out a bifocal prescription which for an active life style minimizes the loss in peripheral vision. Every other Optometrist prescribed the standard "progressives". [However, I will have to return to the use of Progressives as the bifocals are a handicap for daily use and I am sure he will help me see clearly] Update (today, Oct 16th, 2019). Dr. Jeff has been gracious to swap the bifocals to progressives at a nominal fee and he was diligent to ensure that the new lens will have sufficient area for the different regions of progressive. I have been to different optometrist over the years and the season i kept changing is because I did not feel they made sure the numbers prescribed would be the best option. I was never fully satisfied with my eye prescription. In some cases I had to go back and have them rechecked. Dr. Sciberras checked my numbers at least three times in between tests to make sure that the number prescribed were the best possible for my eyes. I will recommend Dr. Sciberras to my friends and family.
