My appts get shorter every year. Are my eyes that predictable? Even though my R eye is problematic, I'm not sure if I should start again with the daily treatment of both eyes with the microwaved eye thingy. I'm still waiting to hear from the pharmacy in Lexington/Louisville about the cost of the medication Dr. Garbig prescribed.

This office was recommended to me by a friend. I have had moderate issues with my eyes. I have had a Retinal tear, cataracts, glaucoma and a vitrectomy(removal of the fluid in my eye,secondary to a bleed), I wanted to go somewhere to get a new prescription for glasses. My exam was comprehensive and the staff and Dr. Kris were professional and personable. I look forward to receiving my new glasses.Thank you.

I absolutely love this office, staff and especially Dr Garbig. This is the first eye doctor office I have been to, that I actually feel like it is not a guessing game. I feel like there is a difference between the changing of the equipment. Dr Garbig is so patient with me each year and I receive excellent care from start to finish.

I was very happy with my visit here! I brought in my 5-year-old son for his Kindergarten vision screen, and I was really impressed with both how thorough the team was with his testing and how kind they were to my son. My son can be a little anxious with new experiences, but the staff explained everything to him very well in a way that was understandable and made him comfortable with everything. They also explained things very well to me. I would recommend them.

Garbig is always patient, kind, and thorough with their eye exams. I have been going to them for several years and they now have Neurolens technology. This new technology has helped me so much to where I can actually function!

We have our whole family going here for vision needs. Love the new imaging where Dr Garbig can compare and look for genetic issues for the kids. I appreciate getting a same day appointment when my contact lens was irritating my eye. I feel I was listened to and treated carefully. All staff members were masked and my temperature was checked upon entering. A quality vision center.

Drs Garbig and Kerestan are excellent eye doctors. The staff are helpful and friendly and the entire office is clean and pleasant. I felt very safe from Corona or any other germs. I can always get in when I have an emergency and always feel like I have first priority while I am being seen. The doctors are genuine and caring yet professional and thorough. I've been coming here for 20 years or so and always look forward to my appointments.

Though I have trusted and admired Drs. Garbig and Kerestan for many years, this was my first eye exam by an optometrist. My parents always took us to ophthalmologists, perhaps because of insurance. I now realize that the quality of the eye exam is not dependent on an MD. I have trusted and consulted with Drs. Garbig and Kerestan for many years as a parent and special educator/diagnostician, now retired. They have provided insights and assistance to my son and many families with whom I worked. As a new patient, I am so very impressed with the in-depth vision evaluation and eye examination I received. Dr. Garbig patiently explained procedures and test results. He questioned me about whether I wanted to view pictures of internal structures in my eye, concerned about my sensitivity. As a senior citizen, I had concerns about my aging eyes. He addressed vision changes, cataracts, macular changes, and glaucoma issues. Truly this was the most thorough eye exam I have ever had, (but I am so much older now). Thank you sincerely to my ophthalmologists for retiring and to Dr. Garbig for being "outstanding in his profession".

As always, the quality of service and care from your practice is top notch. This phenomenal care is extended *iris*-spective of which eye needs it the most. The quality care *lense* itself to the quality of the doctors. Sometimes, going to the eye doctor can be quite the *corneal*, of which professional care coupled by a sense of (vitreous)-humor, helps to diffuse. All of these things combine to *macula* great experience that I will be sure to share with my *contacts*.

I've been a patient of Dr Garbig and the Family Eye Care team for over 30 years. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else. Dr Garbig is very attentive to my family and my needs. He is very professional while at the same time very personable. He makes you feel comfortable and confident in your eye care. And his staff and the service they provide is outstanding! During our last visit, I had originally found a pair of eyeglass frames I liked online at a very good price. Unfortunately they were on indefinite backorder. The staff at Garbig Family Eye Care immediately recognized the frames and informed me that they had them (in my chosen color) and in stock and even though the normal price was higher than the online price, advised me that with my insurance the cost of the frames would be $50 cheaper than online. And I would be able to get my glasses inside of 2 weeks! Kudos to Dr Garbig and his amazing staff. If you haven't scheduled your eye appointment yet with Dr Garbig, I encourage you to do so, you won't be disappointed.

I highly recommend Garbig Family Eye Care. Drs. Garbig and Kerestan have been caring for our family's eyes for many years. They are truly THE best eye doctors we have ever seen. They are very patient to listen to our concerns and at the same time very proficient in their field of eyecare. Their office staff is kind and caring and always make the visit pleasant. Also, I appreciate the tips on how to protect my eyes from the blue light rays coming from computers/electronics. I work online and needed some suggestions on how to better protect my eyes. Dr. Garbig and his staff gave me some valuable tips on how to do that. I would not want to go to anyone else!

I was so lucky to have Dr Garbig make an opening for me when I had flashes occcuring in one of my eyes, accompanied by headaches. I was frightened. He investigated thoroughly with tests, and explained what was happening, so that I could understand. He then made an appointment to recheck me, to make sure the issue was resolved. I love the entire staff at this office. No pressure to buy my eyeglasses there if I have a less expensive option. I thought my insurance had a $5.00 co-pay - so the front desk researched to verify that for me and present the best option. I have had both Dr. Garbig and Dr. Kerestan-Garbig over the years for my exams and I highly recommend them both. I tried another eye doctor when the office moved - that was a mistake! I will follow this team wherever they go!! Although I was promised - no more moving!! Love them all.

I know that the "Big Box" retailers sell glasses for less than Garbig's, but I feel this is a classic case of "you get what you pay for" (or what insurance pay's for). You can also count on consistency in your examinations since the same professional does it each visit.

I'm So Thankful Someone referred me to take my daughter to the Best Eye Specialist and knows about Dyslexia. I'm honestly blown away just how much they do know and treating. Dr. Garbig took my call at 10pm on a Tuesday, offered to PRAY for me/my condition, and met me at his office bright and early the next morning! I had feared that I had retinal detachment, but turns out, with the help of one of his diagnostic machines and his personal skill, that I was diagnosed with a related but less serious condition called PVD. Dr. Garbig EVEN showed me a model of the eye to help explain to me what was happening. Clap! Clap! Clap! THANK YOU for your AWESOME service, Dr. Garbig!

As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by the ladies at the desk. They were very nice. When I was taken back to see the eye examiner he was very nice as well. He made it very comfortable to work with. I get embarrassed with these if I say a wrong letter and if I did he didn't comment or make a joke. At a certain point I had to see if things were the same or different or blurry or perfect. This part he was very patient. I asked him a couple times to show me the picture again and he didn't have a problem at all he said sure. After the test I was picking out my glasses and a woman came over to see if I was finding any. She wasn't pushy at all for me to hurry up and let me choose what I thought looked good instead of just having me rush to choose.

Their care for their patients extends beyond just their eyesight, but to their overall well being. I've been a loyal patient for over 35 years and although we live about 1 hour away, my family continues to make the trip every year due to the quality of care provided. I don't trust mine or my family's eye care to anyone else.

I left out one star because the frames, lenses department was a bit too rushed and lacking anticipation. It seemed, unlike Dr. Garbig, I had to come up with and ask all the questions.

I would like to see a call back from the assistant or the doctor sooner. I had an issue with my eye and was very concerned and decided to just ask for an appointment and couldn't get in until the next day. Otherwise I am very happy with the service and care. Both Dr. Garbig and Dr. Kerstan are great.
