The Freidank Dental Office has given me the best care over the last 10 years+. Dr. Freidank is knowledgeable and considerate of people like me who feared dentists for about 45 years. He worked on my teeth in a painless manner and I am confident and more relaxed having dental work done. While my 89 yr old Mother was living with us, he made a partial for her front teeth and was so kind and gentle to her. Hygenist Patti has done the best work on cleaning our teeth and is gentle and kind also.

I've been a patient here for years. My first visit was the first visit I made to any dentist's office in many many years. The staff there all treated me with respect and kindness instead of the stern chiding I was nervously expecting. My hygienist is quite simply the best and though conversations are, for obvious reasons, one sided she does turn the chore of a visit for cleaning into something a little more enjoyable.

I only received a routine six-month cleaning, no exam by the dentist, and no X-rays, but I was almost billed for all three (including a panoramic X-ray which I have NEVER received at this practice). i did not even have an opportunity to speak with Dr. Freidank, and although I now have two dental insurance policies, the office manager told me the practice would only coordinate with one of those policies. Dr. Freidank was probably very busy with another patient at that time, and I expect he will follow up with my treatment plan.

CAN'T MISS DENTIST ! I left my previous place. At times, the other dentist would want to do "extra" items. This dentist just gives me the truth, no pressure for services. Patty is great for cleanings. Dr. Friedank is very easy to work with. He is short on talk but gets to the point on what is or is not necessary. The biggest thing - I TRUST HIM and his staff. He is not a commercialized dentist, just family owned from his father.

I'm 96 years old, a retired nurse and have worked for an oral surgeon, this was not a pleasant experience. Additionally, the hygienist did not completely clean my teeth. An inadequate job.

I experienced dental pain on Sunday and Dr. Friedank's staff was able to get me into the office Monday morning. Dr. Friedank carefully tried to find out the cause of the tooth's discomfort without creating more pain. After looking at previous x-rays and additional film taken in his office, he thought the pain may be due to nerve damage. He called a trusted endodontist and made an appointment for me. Dr. Friedank was on the right track, as I found out today (after a root canal). Thanks to Dr. Friedank, I am on the road to recovery...

I’ve been going to Dr. Freidank’s office since I was 6 years old. I love this office and all the staff. I now take my own children there, 7 and 9. I just recently had to take my daughter there to have a cavity filled and it was a great experience. She was nervous, of course as a 7 year old would be. She cried a little and was anxious for it to be over, but Dr. Freidank and his assistant Misti were awesome to her. They were very sweet and gentle with her. Misti couldn’t have been nicer to her. She was so sweet to her and kept reassuring her that she would be ok. I will never go to any other dentist office and I highly recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Freidank did his homework the day before he saw me by reviewing my chart. He's thorough and conservative. I've been a patient since 1975 and I continue to feel cared about.. The front desk staff is friendly, too..

If you are one of those people who fear getting your teeth cleaned or getting numbed for dental work, fear no more. I am a new patient to this practice and found that Dr. Freidank and his staff are amazing at what they do! They have a very calm, family-oriented approach--everyone there is very friendly and caring. This week I had to have a filling on each side of my mouth and NEVER felt the needle, yet both procedures were painless and quick. I have the greatest confidence in him to keep my teeth and gums healthy and am actually looking forward to going back for regular check ups.

Comment: I don't know whether this was good or bad, but the cleaning I received by the dental hygienist did not seem as vigorous or thorough as most of the cleanings I've received in the past. Also, although I did not ask, I did not receive any unsolicited feedback about the state of my dental hygiene. In addition, the hygienist had obvious head cold symptoms while she was working on patients. The office seems to be continually undergoing renovations although, from what I could see, it was in very good condition to start with.

Dr. Chris Freidank is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He is skilled and an expert at identifying dental problems and addressing them with the latest state of the art techniques. His fillings and crowns are the best quality. His dental professional Misty is also the best of the best — friendly and knowledgeable and highly skilled. His front desk staff is also professional, efficient and friendly. One small criticism is that they used to have a very nice middle-aged front desk lady who was a credit to their practice and who was the consummate professional — always friendly and represented the office in a dignified way. Now there is a younger Latina woman at the front desk who was unprofessional during my last visit. She openly showed her disapproval of me with her unpleasant facial expressions and by the disapproving tone of her voice. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Freidank for several years and this was the first time anything like this happened. It’s a shame because the rest of the front desk staff is at the highest standard, and the front desk is the face of the practice, so it’s not a good reflection of the other outstanding staff when one bad apple spoils the experience.

Basically, she repeated very positive comments about your staff, but it appears that she was expecting a "more warm and fuzzy" mannerism in your comments about the dental work needed. Brenda recently made a career change and "costs" are now a high priority for her. I reassured her of the quality of your dental service. She also knows, if needed, financial assistance from me is also available. However, your phone call gave us another opportunity to revisit her concerns and I believe this helped to relieve her concerns.

Dr Freidank was absolutely wonderful. This was my best experience with a dentist in my entire life. I’ve had two crowns and over 30 fillings (genetically rotten teeth) and have never had a better experience with fillings. He is incredibly kind and dedicated to making the entire experience as smooth as possible. The scheduling was a bit tight (as with all doctors trying to make ends meet) but he made the time to make sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend Dr Friedank.

Long story short, my long life dentist went awol and needed to find a new one, I tried one in Vienna va whos practice is a joke, only trying to extort as much money out of you as they can, then after a few days of researching health grades, I decided to give freidank a try and what a great choice that was! He is my new life long dentist,,, everybody in this practice is very welcoming, the assistant that I had and the dr have very good bedside manners. Fully recommend this practice to anybody.

Love this dentist and his staff. Dr. Chris and his staff displays great concern over the comfort of their patient during their visits, I never have felt overwhelmed or really nervous in Dr. Chris's office. The Hygienist (Patty) is one of the best I have in cleaning my teeth. All the staff at Dr. Freidank's office are great and after all these years, I look forward to going to the dentist. It took me a long time to find a dentist that I really liked and showed great consideration and concern for his patients! You guys Rock, don't change a thing!!!!

After an appt on Friday at Kaiser Permanente (our Medical Provider), my nurse told me how highly Dr. Freidank and Staff are with some of the Kaiser Employees who go there. I have been going to Friedank and Friedank for decades! The waiting area is pleasant and well stocked with reading material, but I never have to wait long. The staff is professional and friendly and the dental assistants all take their time and are very thorough. Dr. Friedank and Dr. Kim are knowledgeable and skilled in their practice. Been a patient with the practice since Dr. Bill in Old Town so almost 40 years. However, last visit Dr. Chris cleaned my teeth and it was the quickest ever done. No cleaning performed on the inside of the teeth. Normal Hygienist not working day of appointment. She is very thorough and takes care to clean all the teeth.

Unfortunately your practice puts $$ payment over pt. Care. The Dr and billing lady whispering about getting payment before fixing tooth sealed your fate. Horrible experience not too mention allowing a pt in waiting room with bib and gauze in mouth because you wanted payment first. Your unprofessional atmosphere was disgusting. I would NOT recommend this dentist to anyone.

When I consider finding a dentist closer to where I live, I decline to do so as long as I am able to drive the distance at my age.
