I've been going to Downtown Tulsa Eyecare for about ten years. The staff are friendly and competent. The Doctors are expert and they stay technologically up to date, which is really important in their field. The advice on frame and lens choices is excellent.

Unless because of Medicare plan I have to change. Will be reluctant to change because Dr. Holmes has been my doctor for close to 15 years and office location is convenient for downtown workers but more importantly the staff and doctor are exceptional.

Me and my two daughters came in last week for eye exams. The staff was so helpful and even helped with my kiddos! They made our experience very fun and easy, that’s not always the case with a four and five-year-old. The doctor also really cared about fine tuning our vision so we could see our best, that was very appreciated! I have had doctors in the past, not pay attention to my stigmatism and different things that I was telling them. The doctor here found everything on her own without me having to mention it! Thank you all for your care while we were in the office!

I love this place, with all of its high-tech diagnostic gizmos and devices…plus, they are fast! I was in and out in no time at all, even with taking a bit of extra space to get some glasses made. Excellent experience as a new customer. Dr Holmes and her staff were knowledgeable, patient and efficient and came highly recommended from several friends. She took the time to explain the multiple treatment options and answer all my questions. The overall environment was very warm, friendly and professional. I had previously used a local optometrist for 35 years and he retired a couple of years ago. I tried a local, corporate-owned provider for a couple of years with not so good results. WIth Dr Holmes and the rest of her staff at Downtown Tulsa Eyecare, I feel like I've found a team I can count on for many years years to come.

The best service I've seen in the medical space! Everytime I go to Downtown Tulsa Eyecare, the employees are friendly, helpful, communicative, and transparent. I never feel rushed, and they always answer all the questions I have. They do the procedures every day but I only do it once a year, and they treat me with respect and never make me feel like I'm just another body to profit off of. I got there for my annual check-up and when I got LASIK, they did my post-operation check. would 100% recommend. I waited maybe 5 minutes, it was super quick and efficient, without feeling rushed.

Dr. Holmes and her entire staff are wonderful. All of the equipment is state of the art and I particularly like that you can see the back of the eye via the computer rather than having my eyes dilated. I parked in "visitor" parking inside garage on first level which was great! Although not quite sure I was supposed to use these spaces or not.

All the staff was friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I always felt nervous at my previous optometrist's office, but not here. Dr. Holmes was patient and thoroughly answered all my questions. I've dealt with Central Cirrus Retinopathy for 24 years. I learned more about CCR on my first visit to Downtown Tulsa Eyecare than I learned in 18 years at my previous optometrist. I live in Glenpool, so it's a bit of drive, but I am very happy with the decision to go with Downtown Tulsa Eyecare and Dr. Holmes.

Dr. Holmes and the staff are amazing. I know they were running behind and I thought I might be rushed when it came to my exam but I was wrong. It felt like they had all the time in the world. I've been going to the optometrist every year since starting kindergarten and Dr. Holmes is the first optometrist to fully explain everything to me. I always feel very welcome here. Everyone is very professional but also friendly. They always get me taken care of and answer all of my questions. My appointments are always super quick and they never leave me waiting. Plus they have a super cute selection of glasses in-house. My only complaint is that they are downtown and it’s kind of difficult to get a parking space but the service is worth it.

Dr. Holmes and the staff are terrific. The staff is friendly, and there's very little time spent in the waiting room before an appointment. Recently, I had to schedule an appointment on short notice, and they worked with me to make that happen. They've always done a great job fitting me for glasses or making fast adjustments when I've needed them. Not long ago, my insurance changed to a vision plan that's not as widely accepted, and Dr. Holmes' office was no longer in the network. Instead of using insurance and going to another provider, I went back to Dr. Holmes. I trust her to take care of my vision, and after many years of great service, I didn't want to go somewhere else.

I was traveling to Tulsa for business when I had a rather painful cut to my eye. It was early morning, just prior to business opening. A coworker took me to Tulsa Eyecare simply because it closest. Everyone was incredibly helpful. As a walk-in with no previous affiliation, they were more than willing to work me in immediately. They were incredibly professional, skilled and patient. They worked well with my eye doctor to facilitate treatment when I returned home - and the admin at my eye doctor gave unsolicited feedback this was the best cooperative interaction she’d seen in 20 years. Having relocated numerous times in my career, I’d honestly say this is one of the top eyecare groups I’ve seen across the country. I would be a permanent patient if I lived I the area and would recommend them without reservation to anyone needing eyecare.

My Experience with the eyecare professionals was great. They took the time to listen to me and my needs, got me rolling on a plan forward immediately. My experience with the front desk staff was less than desirable, in fact, I pondered walking out. She got short with me when I didn’t give her the answer she wanted to hear to a question and acted as if I had no choice in the matter. But after the eye exam I was glad I stuck around.

Dr. Holmes is seriously one of the best doctors I have ever seen. From the front office staff, to the tech, to Dr. Holmes everyone is kind and you are treated with respect. Dr. Holmes takes interest in each of her patients. I leave feeling joyful because of how I was treated and cared for while in Dr. Holmes office. I'm honestly sad I only go once a year.

The doctors and staff at Downtown Tulsa Eyecare are friendly, courteous, helpful, professional and kind. I have received services here for approximately five years and my contact and eyeglass prescriptions are always correct. Additionally, the doctors work hard to ensure you receive solutions that work for YOU. Here's an example: I prefer monovision contacts versus multifocal contacts and the doctor ensured my prescription was right for my specific needs, specifically for my computer monitor position. I highly recommend this practice.

Downtown Tulsa Eyecare is such a great experience. You can get your eyes checked lots of places, but Dr.'s Holmes and Vandervoort make the experience feel personalized. They not only check your eyes with the latest in technology, but take the time to give patients all the information, options, concerns, "what to do if's" etc. That's pretty rare in the medical community these days. I don't even live or work downtown, but it's worth the trip. There's a parking garage, or plenty of PlatePay spots for just $1/hr.

I had been to multiple eye doctors over the course of the last two years because of some complications with my eyes. With the other eye doctors I saw, some were nice and some had terrible bedside manner, but even the nice ones did not seem to actually listen to me. They all had seemed to already have formed an opinion or decided on a diagnosis before they even entered the room and spoke with me. When I saw Dr. Holmes, she sat with me and went over my eye history line by line. She actually listened to what I was saying so that together we could come up with goals and a plan to reach those goals. On top of all of this, her office staff was polite and very helpful. This is huge. Overall, I had a really great experience, and I am glad that my hunt for a good eye doctor in Tulsa is over.

i was very impressed with Julie Holmes, Optometrist, as well as the pleasant staff and their knowledge and efficiency. I spent 1 1/2 hours there for my first appointment and was not charged anything for the first visit (to my surprise!) All the equipment looked new and high tech and i was impressed with their enthusiasm and energy. They have a very nice selection of frames and as i was leaving they told me that they were offering a special deal of 40% off all glasses the next day! I was also told that they were having Andolini's pizza (my favorite pizza in Tulsa!) delivered to the curb and cooked to order! It was a fun day and I would recommend these young ladies to anyone.

I have been a patient for several years now and love this office. I have only seen Dr. Holmes. She and the staff are both personable and professional. If you work (or live!) downtown, the location is very convenient, and is the reason I chose the practice. Dr. Holmes listens to and answers my random "what-if" questions. Usually, with an eye exam the doctor is not physically touching the eye, but this last visit she actually messed with my eyelid (looking for errant eyelashes) and was very gentle.

DTE is the best! The menu is limited, but my omelet was great. The right amount of eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, bacon, onions, bacon, and bacon. The biscuits were also very fluffy and tasty. Dr. Holmes was very attentive and kept my coffee and orange juice refilled at all times! It is also so hip and trendy - the silverware is made from old broken eyeglasses! What a great idea! 5 stars! I truly appreciate the honesty and integrity of Dr. Julie (can't remember her last name) and her staff. In the past, I have experienced doctors who recommended products and services that were not needed only to line their pockets. That was not the case at Downtown Tulsa Eyecare. The recommendations made required little out of pocket expense. In fact, I was referred to a less expensive vendor to determine my comfort level with a prescription prior to making a large purchase. That is not the norm. They also fixed a pair of old glasses, free of charge. I truly appreciate the quality of service I received. Definitely a keeper!

My experience was very positive. Greeted well when I walked in and made myself some coffee. Exam was excellent and I really like the Doctor. The fitting of my glasses was very good and picked a nice pair.

I am thoroughly satisfied with my visits here. The office is nice and the staff are friendly. The employees have their best interest for you. All of the optometrists do their job very well and are skilled. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for eye care.

Been a patient for approximately 10 years always friendly staff and Dr. Holmes is always friendly and takes time to make you feel that you are receiving the best of care and advice. Recently recommended cataract surgery and lens implant which was amazing.

Staff and Dr. Holmes are very prompt with very little waiting room time. Initial exam went very well and was done very professionally. Dr. Holmes follow-up exam was provided in an efficient, friendly and extremely competent manner. She was able to address the few concerns I had. She is a delight to deal with. I have been coming to Dr. Holmes for a number of years and the experience has been very positive every time.
