I haven’t been to the dentist in 10+ years because I had a bad experience elsewhere. I decided to give Design Dentistry a try for a cleaning and I am so glad I did. Everyone was so nice and gentle. They don’t take my insurance but it is definitely worth it signing up for their membership. I am excited to go back and see Jenny the hygienist for my next cleaning.

I know going to the dentist my not be at the top of anyone's "Fun" list but the staff at DD are very welcoming and will put you at ease. The evironment is very unique, it's almost like you are at home and just walk over to another room and visit the dentist. I probably didn't explain this very well, but pay DD a visit and you will understand.

I accepted an appointment for 11/15 at 2 PM from a text I received at 3:30 PM on 11/14. Upon waking on 11/15, my daughter was sick and had to stay home for school. I sent a text to cancel the appointment at 7:30 that morning. When I showed up at my rescheduled appointment on 11/23, I was told I was charged a no-show fee for the appointment on 11/15. When I texted to cancel the 11/15 appointment I was never told I would be charged this fee, otherwise I would have tried to find child care or brought the kid to sit in the lobby (which I don't think Design Dentistry wants to encourage). I've now left 2 message with the office manager to request for this charge to be reversed and have not received a call back. Needless to say I will be finding a new dentist.

It is always nice to see things move toward the old normal prior to COVID.I didn't need a cup of coffee when I visited but it was refreshing to see the K-cups set out. I always look forward to the cheerful staff too. I started to wonder if the Z-pac prescription was going to address my infection on #4. 2 pills the first day and 1 the following 4 days. After the 3rd single pill my cheek was still puffy and sensitive. When I took the 4th single pill I realized that I had very little sensitivity. I'm looking forward to my root canal, scheduled until Sept. 13th.

After my first visit to Design Dentistry, I can't wait to return! Yeah, weird thing to say about a trip to the dentist. Right? The staff was professional, and competent, and made me feel welcome and at ease which we all know can be an issue when visiting the dentist. The waiting area was very comfortable and furnished like a normal living room you might encounter when visiting a friend. I also noticed a seperate waiting room for children which looked like a lotta fun! Aaron (The dentist who treated me) was very thorough and took the time to explain my current condition and suggest options for future treatment to ensure the best care as we advance. If you are looking for a dentist I highly recommend Design Dentistry!

Everyone at design dentistry is amazing. Dr. Rinta is the best dentist. He’s always so caring and thorough. He happily addresses any concerns I may have. He’s very vocal while doing his work and warns you if anything he’s doing may feel uncomfortable. He really cares about doing a good job. I live in Portland, but I don’t mind commuting in order to get such great service. They offer very affordable care plans for people like me that don’t have dental insurance. Dr. Rinta and his team are both friendly, efficient, professional, and made me feel very comfortable throughout my initial consultation and exam, and first deep cleaning. It had been over a year since I'd been able to go in to a dentist for routine cleanings, and so I needed a bit more work done than usual, but Dr. Rinta's team was able to fit me in within the week of my initial request for an appointment. The Membership program they offer in-house seemed like a good value, and was well-explained. The ambience itself is very pleasant, clean, modern, and comfortable. I was so happy with my initial experiences that I've booked my mom for her first exam and cleaning with Dr. Rinta's team. I'm so happy to have found our new family dentist in our new home town!

I came down with flu like symptoms last Thursday and eventually I found out that it was an infected tooth. Once I realized what it was, I went right to Design Dentistry and everything went so smooth. I got everything done within three days! I had a referral from Dentist Aaron Rinta DMD to Salmon Creek Endodontics, Dr. Scott George and diagnosed for a root canal. After the root canal. That same day I drove over to Design Dentistry in Camas, Wa. And Dr. Rinta removed the temporary filling and made it permanent, Done!

Aaron Rinta and his staff are wonderful. polite, friendly and they talk to you about thing that interest you. As soon as you walk through the door you feel welcome and comfortable. The staff greets you by name, there is rarely any wait to be called for your appointment. They have a tea & coffee area, a comfortable waiting area with many different types of magazines and television options if desired which is good if your family have same day appointments. The decor is amazing makes you feel right at home. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Rinta did a great job with the tooth extractions. One was particularly difficult and Aaron was extremely careful not to damage the supporting bone structure. Took plenty of time to extract the roots from the bone in which they were firmly embedded. Had very little trouble with bleeding post-op thanks to a couple of sutures. Had very little post-op discomfort that I would NOT categorize as pain - no swelling. Great work!!

Cleaniness of the office, including proper hand washing. 2. Quality of final product (crown or filling)-looks good, matches with the color of the teeth, fits well and stays in place. 3.Friendliness and nice look of waiting area.

In the past I have had great experiences at Design Dental but my last visit on 5/13 was much different. My hygienist did not seem to know how to operate the x ray machine and she did not complete my cleaning. She scraped plaque and then as the dentist was not ready to look over my teeth, suggested I come back at a later date.

I came in recently for a small swelling I had on my gum. It turns out it was an abscess that had developed due to a dying nerve in a tooth. During the exam I was also given a cone X-ray. This is a new technology that gives the doctor a better view of my dying tooth. After this quick exam I was recommended to an endodontist for a root canal. I found later that these new cone X-rays are quite expensive but I was told that expense would be absorbed by the doctor's clinic. I was quite elated to learn this. Being on Medicare now and a fixed income I have to be careful about my expenses. I really appreciate Design Dentistry giving me the very best care possible and without it being too expensive.

I never feel rushed, and the staff really seems to enjoy working there, which helps keep the atmosphere cheery and positive. I will continue to refer anyone who needs a good dentist to this office.

I joined this practice at the referral of a friend many years ago. I liked the home feel and the caring dentist that always called the next day to make sure I was ok. I know things change but I feel that your practice is just OK. Hardly know the dentist or his staff. He is in and out fast. My last procedure took less than 10 minutes to perform and the price was very high. Felt like I got ripped off. I find I have no loyalty with Dr. Rinta and therefore I am thinking of checking again with my friends for a Dentist that cares about me as a person and charges a reasonable rate.

Six yrs ago in Montana I got a molar implant and crown. The crown came off a few days ago. Dr. Rinta re-cemented it with a different and better cement and is confident I shouldn't have any problems with it. Pleasant experience. I was there a half hour.

When I scheduled my cleaning I was quoted a price around $160. Because I have no insurance it is very important that I know how much my appointments are going to cost. When I arrived for my appt I was never told I would need x-ray's & exam for an additional $200. It was an unpleasent surprise to be told I owed $360 when my appt was over. I would of never kept the appt if at ANY point I was told ahead of time that my charges would be $360. A conversation beforehand would of been verry much appreciated.

Dr. Vaigh Wensinger is the best dentist. She is willing to fix a problem tooth BEFORE it becomes a painful problem. She also calls me in the evening to see how i'm doing with an explanation if i have a question. NO doctor is that considerate.

Liz has been my dental hygienist for several years. I had a long gap of approximately 7 or 8 years without seeing the dentist before I came to Design Dentistry. It took a few visits to get me back in shape, but Liz helped me get there. She has always made my trips to the dentist enjoyable. She has a great sense of humor and a great manner.

I was thrilled with the threat of having to pay a fee if missed appt. I know this is the common practice. But I have seen better results with the reward system vs the punishment system. Something like if you don't miss your appointment you will be entered to win a monthly prize... Or if you make three appointments without missing any you get a free whitening or gift certificate. Something to think about.

I just had four 3/4 caps put in recently. Dr. Wenzinger performed all of the work. She did a very thorough and excellent job. She would not let me go if everything was not just perfect for me. She always phones me later in the night to make sure I am ok. My one comment was that the temporaries broke two times but they were repaired easily and immediately upon my notice to them. The new teeth look fantastic and seem to work perfectly.
