Happy with the Doctor. Confused as to why so many people see you before the Doctor with conflicting diagnosis. Was there last Friday, clerk was supposed to email X-rays at time of checkout for root canal on Tuesday. She did not. She was more concerned with talking about her mother and how young she looks. Monday morning staff did not answer the phone. My wife actually drove the entire way there while on hold after working a 16 hour shift overnight to address the issue. The staff were huddled chatting instead of working and answering phones. X-rays were finally obtained after effort from my wife that should not have had to happen if the secretary did her job appropriately on Friday.

No wait time in office. Hygienist was very nice and thorough (just a bit off with water splashing in face and use of suction tube) office check out was efficient and staff was friendly and provided me with info I needed

This place has consistently gone downhill since the staff overhaul pre-Covid. They cancel and change appointments with little notice. The woman who did my cleaning had to be shown how to use the X-ray machine like it was her first day on the job and they told me I would have to schedule a separate appointment for the exam with the dentist because he was “too busy.”

Overall I like the location and majority of the staff. Everyone is super nice and helpful. The only thing I wish would change is having the staff arrive before my scheduled time. Sometimes the hygienist is late coming to work and I’m waiting for more than 30 minutes before seeing her. I’m a busy Mom with lack of sleep and a packed day with other activities and appointments scheduled. So any delay can be frustrating and stressful.

I Called to make an appointment For a chip front tooth. I arrive to a clean office with a nice stuff. I was called back after not waiting too long and x-ray was taken of my front tooth. The dentist came in after waiting in the chair for about 15 minutes look at my tooth didn’t really say much, proceeded to paint but I guess was an Anesthetic and When I asked what the plan was she said it would be filled like a filling which I guess is a bonding? She left the room and never came back. Ever. Someone from the front desk came in And proceeded to tell me that there was no time to do my tooth. I question saying that I had this numbing thing put on my tooth and she said I could wait if I wanted but it would be a very long time and that she would reschedule For another time. Needless to say that didn’t sit well with me not for the fact that they were too busy to do the tooth, but for the fact that this dentist put something on my tooth walked away and never came back or give me the courtesy to say that we need to reschedule. I do not like to leave a bad review anywhere and normally enjoy doing positive review, but this warranted this review.

Every time I come to the office, I never see the same dentist as on previous appointments. The first dentist that convinced me about her dental plan for me no longer works at Dental Care of Hammonton. Not having the ability to see the same dentist is frustrating to me as I have anxiety about dental procedures. The female dentist who sent me to the oral surgeon for an extraction was not at my last appointment.

Super inconvenient not having a doctor and a hygienist present especially when you have a baby at home and can’t schedule multiple appointments. I understand there is a shortage due to the pandemic but it would have been nice to know this before showing up. Everyone in the office was super friendly and helpful though

Not favorable. Left me foundering in a sea of ignorance. The girl who took the X-rays was not at all careful where she put the devices in my mouth. Hope when I come back Jan. 5th it’s more pleasant.

The hygienist who did the cleaning was brusque, surly, and rude. She sighed/ huffed throughout the cleaning and was not very friendly at all. At one point she coughed and--though I couldn't see perfectly from my vantage point--I *hope* it was into her elbow rather than into her gloved hand, which then went into my mouth. The dentist herself was fine, though. I do wish the office offered smaller toothbrushes to patients. I have a small mouth and asked for a smaller brush but they said it was all they had (no children's brushes?)

I am a new patient and it was easy to schedule an appointment , no long wait time . I had extensive work done on two molars , not easy to reach back there . The Dr was very careful a nd took several x rays throughout to make sure it was done exactly to her satisfaction . I had absolutely no pain during the 3 hr treatment or even afterward when the numbing agents had worn off . One of them was a root canal and both need a bone build up for crowns ,done by Dr. Yaheem . So far I am very impressed . Also with Laura the hygienist , who has 15 years experience and who too caused no pain . Thank you , thank you , thank you !

I gave a 3 star rating cause I am always scheduled to see my DR.. Who is Dr. Todd!! But, they try and put me in anyones appointment slots except Dr. Todd I don't know why? They dont even tell you youre not seeing ur doctor until after youre cleaning or you get back into the room. I was never informed and I am having some mor work done I hope they put me with my doctor cause I will refuse to see another doctor. Call Me and let me and ask me dont wait till i GET THERE N SURPRISE ME???? STILL SMH

Never again.Front desk needs to be nicer too snooty acts like your bothering her when you ask a question. I feel they over book no one should wait 2hrs. They should come out personally and explain give you option to wait or re schedule. Took my Mother Dr. didn't numb her enough stuck needle in her gum made her scream lucky he didn't give her a heart attack. Sorry office needs complete make over. Lot of people were mad. Plus my Mother had 4 phases printed on a sheet with about 5 to 6 things needed done, we go dentist said you only need 1 tooth pulled I dont know what this girl wrote all this for. What!!!! Then receptionist tells me Dr tells what needs to be done. Really!!!

I am very displeased that latex gloves were used by the hygienist. I have a latex allergy that was documented in my initial paperwork. I am suffering from skin irritation and hives, difficulty breathing, scratchy eyes and throat, and gastric issues. How can that happen? I was told by a dentist during my first visit that latex gloves were never used by your practice and that I would never have to worry about asking about the gloves being used.

Had a 9am appointment even was texted a confirmation text which I responded a yes to when I got there the receptionist asked if I had an appointment when I told her I was 9am she looked confused and told me I didn’t hand and appointment I was alittle surprised and was just gonna leave and forget the cleaning she then said someone will be right with you, I was called back for my cleaning and the you g lady who was very very nice proceeded to clean my teeth the dentist then was called in to discuss the issue I was having with my teeth and he recommended implants $$$$ . I left with my teeth not feeling clean and not even a new tooth brush I have been a patient of dental care for many years and have see.mn a dramatic decline in the all around service I had come accustomed to, unfortunately I will not be going back in for my scheduled appointment and will be search for a new dentist office.

My first visit was an emergency visit for what I though was a toothache. Turns out it was my gums. After the initial shock and the (come to find out later) scare tactics provided from the seen Dr., I left my appointment scared and in tears. Because of that I thought it would be best to go to a different dentist. I had major anxiety and tons of after thought questions so I figured it’d be best to follow though with my follow up appointment and then search for a new dentist after. I’m glad I followed through with that appointment. Although I did not get to revisit that same Dr, the nurse or assistant that I had was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain everything-the how’s what’s and why’s, she answered all my questions and settled all those fears I was left with after my first visit. I appreciated the time she gave me and I was able to proceed with that appointment a hell of a lot better then I walked into it. With that said, I’m grateful this survey wasn’t sent after my first visit because my answers would have been vastly different then they are now, after my second visit.

Now I would usually say something in person but half way through my cleaning I made the conscious choice to find a new dentist office. First, my previous dentist and my hygientist no longer practice at the office. Thats good information to have. They screwed up my appointment, my wife’s appointment ( without calling her after she took off of work, and a friend of ours. My hygienist was horrible. I almost walked out. Never in my 34 years did i have such a bad cleaning expierence. Im positive she took an online course and It had to be her first ever patient on top of the fact that she was sniffling above my open mouth the entire time. Never once did she ask my comfort level or even bother to provide me a rinse cup. I got it my self. Dr. Cohen was nice, brief, but nice. He needs help in the staffing department.

Dr. Gandhi is always as gentle as possible and caring. Continually checking on me while she's working to make sure I'm ok. Doreen is fantastic! Kind, respectful and gentle as well. And Charity is always fitting me or my family in somewhere ad handling all of our insurance issues like the pro she is! I love this office!

I have just started with the Dental Care of Hammonton and I am so very pleased with everything there. From the first time making an appointment as a new patient I have been made to feel as if I have been a patient for years. The office is comfortable and pleasant, short wait periods and wonderful care from the entire staff! I highly recommend this Dental Office to all my friends and family.

Never have I ever enjoyed going to the dentist until going to Dental Care of Hammonton. From the moment you walk in the door (even when you call over the phone to book an appointment) everyone is very warm and friendly. They remember you and truly make you feel special and valued. More importantly, the dental cleanings are extremely thorough and the best I've ever had. At the age of 34 (and the first time in my life) I was actually taught, with a mirror, the proper way to floss. I was doing it completely wrong. Since I've been doing it how I was taught during my cleaning, my gums no longer bleed and my visits are extremely fast because I have very little plaque build-up.
