My children and I have been patients of Dr. Morier since he had an office in Delmar, NY. After over 10 years, I now live in south New Jersey and when it's time for our eyes to be checked, I prepare myself to make the 3 1/2 to 4 hours drive JUST to be around my extended family. Yes, family. From reception, to glasses adjustments, to the appointment itself, I am ALWAYS happy to see them and impressed by the doctor's bed side manner. Every time. That is why no one else has been good enough for us. At Consumer Optical, we are respected, our business is valued, the doctor is interested in my children and me as people, and most important, Dr. Morier is THE BEST in his field of optometry, hands down. I trust his recommendations without hesitation. I have said a lot; however, he is a treasure whom I'm glad to have as my eye doctor! Period!

I had a problem with my left eye. Dr. Morier was out sick but I was given an appointment the next day with another doctor. I arrived and was seen quickly, examined, diagnosed, and prescription called into my pharmacy. Easy and efficient. That’s why I’ve been a patient there for more than two decades.

Albert Morier is a great doctor and the staff there is fantastic. My family has been working with Consumer Optical for many years. We wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for our eye care.

I travel from Pennsylvania because Dr. Morier is not just an eye doctor to us - he is a human being who cares about our eye health and our lives. He is honest and answers my questions in a way that I understand and feel empowered. As an extra, he models an atmosphere of cordiality and family that we feel as soon as we walk in the office. His staff remembers us and show that they appreciate our traveling so far and value us. My children and I have been seeing Dr. Morier for over 5 years and as long as he's practicing, we will be his patients.

I needed dilation this app't and was informed over the phone you have a new procedure that does not require drops. I was never told it would cost me $ for this procedure. Why am I contributing to the cost of your machine. The doctor said he would not perform dilation during covid time. Really? Also, only if a problem was found would it be covered by insurance,does that make sense , NO

Great Service! Excellent use of modern technology and Dr. Morris explained how it all works very well. He also pointed out my glasses (that I got elsewhere) were completely screwed up - so much for trying to save a buck!

I love the "family feel" of Consumer Optical. Since the first day I met Dr. Morier and the rest of the crew back in 2010, I knew I found something special. I trust Morier's judgment and he explains everything thoroughly. This is why I willingly drive 4.5 hours for an appointment, despite my now living in Pennsylvania. And every time my family and I enter the office, we are welcomed warmly and as though we're important. No other doctor/crew will do.

I do not live in NY anymore, but will wait until I am back in the area to get my eyes examined and purchase my eyewear here. Staff is very friendly and the exams are thorough. I always feel welcomed here.

All the people at consumer optical are awesome, they go that extra mile to help you. I would never go to anyone else. The only thing I would love, is if you would take my insurance, which is United Healthcare.

From the front counter to the Optomitrist the professionalism and friendliness go way above the J.O.B standards. I have FREE eye care through the V.A but I chose to return to consumer optical and pay for my the service. If that does not say what I think then nothing more I can say.

World class customer service..... Your eyes are nothing to take for granted which is why my family only uses the professional services of Consumer Optical. Everyone there is kind and considerate, they go out of their way to make you feel like family there. Don't trust your eyes to the big box stores, you only have 2 of them and so you need competent and knowledgeable people taking care of them.
