I bought my glasses at Columbus Eyeworks years ago and I just came in to have them adjusted. ( I think I sat on them). The staff was very helpful and adjusted my glasses very quickly. I also made an appointment for an eye exam. I would definitely recommend Columbus Eyeworks - Great staff, COVID conscious, flexible hours and a great selection of frames.

Wow! The service is exceptional! I booked three appointments for our family. As my first son had his exam, the optician, Amber, helped my other son and I shop for our new frames. Never, have I had new frames picked out before even walking into my exam! It saved us so much time. My younger son was also having some fit issues with his old glasses. Amber worked her magic to correct the fit on his old glasses so he can use them as a spare pair. The tech for our exam was super-sweet, friendly and funny... The doc is also incredible. This is seriously the best service I have ever had for an eye exam. This is the only place we will be going for exams in the future!

I had the best experience at Columbus Eyeworks. All three staff members were friendly, engaging, and genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. Dr. Bennett was great, thorough and easygoing so I was at ease during the eye exam. They also helped me pick out glasses, which I usually dread, but Amanda helped me find a great pair and made the process so easy!

I’ve been going to Columbus Eyeworks for 20 years and highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new eye doctor! The staff is the friendliest office staff I’ve ever encountered- and I work in health care, so I’ve encountered a lot! Everyone is very helpful. The office is very clean. I’ve had two appointments now during Covid times, and felt safe at both appointments! My most recent appointment was with Dr. Bennett- it was my first time seeing him. Extremely professional, talked to me like a person not a patient (which I appreciate), gave a thorough exam, and answered all my questions. This is the place for your eye care!!

It was a very good visit and I was very happy with the outcomes. I felt the practitioner was efficient and knowledgeable. I also was happy with his explaining what he found and the next steps. However, this was my first visit with this person and he did not introduce himself. That was off putting and hopefully in the future the assistant and the doctor remember to introduce themselves and welcome their new patients.

The new doctor was too abrasive in terms of his personality. He was trying to make jokes of odd things and was a bit unprofessional. Made me feel uncomfortable at times because he wasn't really friendly. I miss the old doctor but I know he retired. I will not be recommending this place to others.

I HAVE BEEN GOIN THERE FOR YEARS. I REMEMBER WHEN DR. KOCH OPENED IT UP NORTH OF THE CURRENT LOCATION. IT THERE I FOUND GREAT EYE CARE AND THE MOST ATTRACTIVE AND CLASSY FRAMES I HAVE EVER HAD. ALSO THE LENSES I PURCHASED WERE TOP OF THE LINE.

I have a cursed pair of glasses. At least that's what I believe. I got the glasses from another eye doctor. They shall not be named. Not only did the glasses cost quite a bit, they also didn't bother to help much with understanding how my THICK lenses would, read: would not, work with the frames. I will burn these glasses soon enough. I'm not joking. Enter Dr. Kurt Bennett and Columbus Eyeworks. It's the second time I've been here and if getting eye checkups and glasses were like eating amazing food, I'd go every week. Kurt is cool. Seriously, he's just cool. Best eye doc I've ever had ... and we're talking since Elementary school. You'll understand this when you meet him. Maria rocks! Adrienne too. All the staff are wonderful folks. They all helped with every issue I had ... and I was focused on not making the same mistakes again. Best of all they did it without my asking. They're true professionals all around. It was the complete opposite experience compared to my soon to be burned glasses. Again, this is the second time I've used them and they're consistently great. Not just good; they are great. We're lucky to have them here.

I’ve been going here for years and despite Dr. Koch’s retirement, I plan on staying here for years to come! Don’t let Short North parking scare you away - there are plenty of garages nearby and they will validate your ticket at the front desk! Love this place!

Everyone was so kind and helpful! My last experience at an eye doctor was pretty bad, being prescribed the wrong prescription and not being able to find contacts that work. Everyone here listened to what I had to say and were so kind and not only did we find contacts that were perfect on the first try but they helped me pick out glasses which I think made the process go so much faster because I’m so indecisive lol all in all I had a great experience here and can’t wait to get my new glasses!

The entire team at Columbus Eyeworks was extremely professional and helpful. They made the eye exam, and fitting of new glasses extremely pleasant. The doctor noticed a bump on my eyelid that he found to be suspicious, so they not only provided a referral for an eye surgeon that could do the biopsy, they even scheduled the appointment for me. The space downtown is clean and immaculate. I will most certainly recommend them!

Dr. Bennet has had years of experience in a hospital setting evaluating vision refractory and seeing eye pathology. This experience will help him better identify an eye problem that deviates from normal and when there should be an urgent need to refer to a specialist. There is no space to make additional comments in this survey except here. Dr Bennett talks a little to much about binned I am things. I recommend that he be a little more formal on the first visit with his patient until the patient invites informal conversation.

Office was over-scheduled and doctor was overwhelmed. Felt rushed through exam while doctor’s mind was always thinking ahead...not in the present moment. New eye symptoms were quickly explained without ensuring my understanding. I found another set of contacts in my take-home case that the doctor told me to use (gross).

Dr. Kurt Bennett arrives with impressive credentials and professionalism. He's got a personality that puts you at ease and explains questions, clearly taking the time to make sure you understand. I appreciated Ryan’s professional and personalized service and coordinating my multiple eyewear purchase, making it so convenient during these roughtimes. I trust him totally. Ryan was there from beginning to personally help me choose frames and styles, coordinate the frame order, followthrough with my return for measurement, and proceed with labwork. As a 25 yr. veteran customer of Dr. Koch with 1996 first frames, I appreciate the continuity of care and Ryan Hays being there gave me “peace of mind” with always great service, as in the simple times of the past. Columbus Eyeworks exceeded any and all expectations of an eye doctor during my first visit. My appointment was timely & thorough, and the staff seemed genuinely interested in helping me find the perfect glasses. Days after my appointment, I experienced an eye injury and had no issues getting in to see Dr. Bennett. He went the extra mile to make sure my eye healed quickly and properly.
