As always the staff were wonderful, personable, and extremely helpful. Michelle's attention to detail as she adjusted my glasses has drastically improved my vision thru my progressive lenses. Dr Mullens was great, too. I moved away from Kuna, but I still go back for eyecare, only Because of the awesome people at Clarifeye!

Clarifeye is hands-down the best optometry practice I've every been to, and I've had glasses since I was 11 years old (29 years ago!) Dr. Rob Grigg is always wonderful to work with - professional, friendly, kind, and great at explaining things thoroughly and clearly. My care at Clarifeye has always been wonderful. The staff are also helpful and friendly and the office is beautiful.

There was a different doctor filling in when I went in for my check-up last time. I was a bit nervous about it at first, but as soon as we got started I loved her! I'm sorry I don't remember her name, but she was very friendly, had obviously read my chart, was very knowledgeable about my condition. She was able to answer any question I asked her to my satisfaction and beyond. I always enjoy going to ClarifEye Family Eyecare!

As an elderly, new patient of Dr. Robert Grigg, I found him to be both professional and personable. I had a great visit! I was greeted immediately in a warm and professional manner. The whole office is beautiful and very clean yet not too "clinically". The best part of the visit was that, after a thorough exam, I received great news that my eyes are in good shape! I had never had my eyes dilated and the staff and Dr. Lisa were great to laugh with me about it. Dr. Lisa and her staff explained everything and answered my multitude of questions!

I enjoyed the professionalism of the staff and Dr. Grigg. He did a great job of explaining the results of the exam and comparing it with the previous exam. I especially liked the eye map and the comments about the ability to actually see the blood vessels and health of the eyes.

When selecting new glasses the individuals helping were very polite and did their best but the lingo is very frustrating and meaningless. "I can put you in the expression" sounds like i'm buying a car and has no meaning. Ranking the lenses from good to best and explaining the coating options would help greatly. I also felt I was getting the hard sell on the coatings. Just the facts and supporting data is all that is needed.

I expressed concern over the financial obligation because I don't have vision insurance. The response was interesting. The dr. did say they'd try to bill it as medical, but basically told me to average it out over the next couple years and if I considered that, it wasn't too expensive. Which is true, I guess, but when I'm asked to write a $500+ check on the spot that's ALOT of money. There's no consideration for payments. I feel like my vision is held hostage. I bring myself, because at some point I can't stand the bluriness, but I can't afford to bring my kids. We have to take turns based on the biggest complaint. I was just a little taken back with the response. Every other doctor or office takes payments, so it's just hard to go regularly to your office.

Rhonda, thanks for the feedback and we're sorry about the confusion. The doctor was suggesting that exam services are normally paid in-full at the time of service. We do accept payments on eye wear all the time, and in fact, often accept payment even on the services too, if needed. We've since communicated this to you by phone and appreciate you are now planning to bring your kids as well.

The quality of your office environment has gone down significantly. We have had nothing but issues with our recent visits. The staff member wasn't very professional, reeked of cigarette smoke and ended up ordering a completely different frame than the one I wanted. We have had multiple issues with warrantee issues on other family members glasses too. I was really put off by the fact that your receptionist cannot extend the courtesy of actually getting out of her chair to go let an optitician know that I was there for my appointment. You are letting technology ruin the previously personal environment that Dr. Grigg works so hard to create. I think we will be shopping for a new eye doctor, not because we dislike Dr. Grigg but the office is less than stellar.

I felt that that was not a very clean sanitation practice.You also don't have a very large selection of frames to choose from for males. We also had to ask if there were any wireless frames to look at instead of the gal showing them as an option.

When a patient comes for a medical visit, their medical insurance will be billed. When a patient comes for routine vision care, their optical (vision) insurance will be billed in accordance with proper billing practices. I have never received such thorough eye care services, and I've been wearing glasses since I was in the 5th grade (and I'm nearly 40), have worn glasses for 26 years and contacts for 24, so I've had my share of vision services. Both doctors are exceptionally thorough and do a great job communicating and both do a great job establishing a warm, comfortable, and productive patient-doctor relationship. These costs are nearly twice those of the past few years at Vision One -- and that's without ordering new frames. Wow. I must say that the technician who measured and ordered the lenses went out of her way to do her job very well.

As contact lenses are a medical device and are on the eye throughout the year, the purpose of the evaluation is to diagnose trouble with your eyes from contacts you may not know is developing and to ensure your eyes remain healthy every year. The contact lens strength and brand may change or remain the same during this process.

I feel like this office is only trying to make a buck. Last year I asked about lasiks, I was told that Hollingshead was the best and would only be recommended to go there. This time I was told that some other place was the best and that I should only go see them. Whats even more frustrating is being charged $50 to put a pair of contacts in my eyes that are the same brand of contacts that I am already wearing and have no problems with. The prescription was such a slight difference that the doctor said I could wear my old supply until I wanted to buy new ones, but was still charged. I will not be coming back to this office I have a lot of referrals from co-workers that do not get charged and in fact are given multiple trials of contacts at their visits with no fee.

Danielle, thanks for your feedback. Dr Mark Hollingshead and Dr Mark Walker, both of whom we recommend, are both excellent LASIK surgeons. You were not charged anything for the trial lenses. The fee was for the doctor's evaluation of your eye's healthy wear of contact lenses including fit, comfort, clarity, power and tear film analysis. Contact lenses are a medical device worn on the eye that can lead to infection and injury. All eye doctors every year evaluate the status of your eye's healthy wear of contact lenses and require a fee for their time and professional expertise in doing so.

Glasses were first ordered May 15th, lenses were wrong prescription, returned 1 week later, and waited 3 weeks. New glasses came, lenses were still wrong prescription, returned 1 week later. They told me it was fine, and that I was still in the adjustment period. I took the glasses to another optometrist, who told me the prescription was wrong. I returned several days later, was confronted by the person who I had been dealing with the whole time. All of my opinions and evidence were ignored. She insisted that in spite of the fact that another office had confirmed the incorrect prescription, I was still in the adjustment period. Finally I was able to speak with Dr. Griggs. He examined the glasses, agreed with me, and was extremely helpful with solving the issue. It is now July 13th, I am waiting to see when I will finally have new glasses.

The glasses at the practice are very expensive. Also I was not explained the break down of my charges in detail. The staff and doctor were really nice. When doing the 360Β° eye scan my eye was not scanned very well by the staff as my wife's eye was scanned. Overall it was a good visit but I would probably not going for an eye exam here again due to very high price. We got one pair of glasses one pair of contacts and two exams and it costs almost $900.

Since my first visit in December, my contact orders has been lost, it took me coming in 2 months later to get request them. Than at that time they could not find my information. At the time of that visit, I had updated my phone numbers. I came back in to order my color contacts. The worker who order my color contact was having trouble understanding the program to order them. Once again I update my phone number and requested a call to know why my eye medication was not order back in December, this was the 2nd request for this. I came in a week later after getting the notification that my color contacts was in only to find the boxes that was order was only for my right eye. Which lead me to speak the office manager. I expressed my concerns; I was advised that I would get a refund of one of the boxes of color contact. Only after checking my account less than $24.00 was returned to me. I felt that if the return was going to be less than the amount, it should be explained.

Karen, Thanks for your feedback on the exam chairs. Two of our exam rooms have exam chairs where the seat you sit on has a leather that is flat. You may be referring to this. You'll be happy to know that in the coming months we are planning on having those exam chairs re-upholstered with a more rippled and cushioned material. Hope this helps. Byron, you do have a good vision plan. There are different levels of vision benefits depending on which VSP plan you have. So others who have VSP may have more or less eye wear coverage than you. Looking forward to dispensing your new glasses to you. You picked great-looking frames!

I was not expecting to pay the extra $100 for this visit. I have always paid the copay under major medical. It has always been billed that way in the past. I asked for this visit to be billed that way and was simply told it couldn't be done that way this time. I did understand I needed to pay for the optomap but was not given any other options for payment. New staff in front seem cold and clinical. Love Dr Griggs and have always had confidence in him. The technician who did my tests was very friendly.

And we have plenty of medium-priced and value line frames as well. Always ask our opticians who are happy to find eye wear that fits your needs.

Yes, there are other options. One great option patients love is Care Credit, which can be used towards both the exam and the contacts and glasses. You can apply within minutes right in our office. Also, you can use your Flex Spending money or Health Savings Account money from work. Let us know if you'd like to utilize any of these options.

Give your office staff a key! I had to be brought through the employee entrance since the doctor had not yet gotten into the office. The building layout is a bit different, as I had never been there before I thought the entrance was on the side near Walgreens so I ended up walking all the way around the building until I realized where the front entrance was.

Very professional , everyone is very kind and compassionate, always excellent customer/patient service. A few years ago I tried Clarifeye, I was very disappointed in the customer service and selection of frames/glasses that were available, I vowed not to come back, then this summer I was in need of a new pair of sunglasses and heard that artisan optical no longer carried my Oakley sunglasses, so that left me with no choice but to give Clarifeye a try again, at the time of my appointment my niece had just passed away in a tragic car accident, everyone in the office was very compassionate to my situation, they even sent me a sympathy card after my visit, it was like a whole new experience this visit, they went above and beyond to make me happy with my purchase/ selection of eye wear, Dr. Rob Grigg is very Professional and helpfull! THANK YOU !

Understanding some training was underway total appointment time was three hours and that seemed a little excessive. That being said everyone was polite and attentive. I continue to be suprised at the cost of eyecare and was tempted to try Walmart but am very happy with the Doctor and am a bit concerned there would be a loss of ability elsewhere. I have bought my glasses from Costco before and might have to resort to that in the future.

I always thought I just didn't like going to the eye doctor. Turns out, I was going to the wrong one. I switched to Dr. Grigg after a yet another frustrating visit to my old doctor. This was my third visit to Dr. Grigg and I love coming to this office. They are friendly and don't keep me waiting. It is so nice to feel like my business is appreciated and to be treated so well. The entire staff does a great job! Dr. Grigg explains things in a way that is easy to understand, but doesn't make you feel like he is talking down to you. It is almost a shame I only come for a visit once a year. Thanks for taking such great care of my eyes. :)

Most people don't pay out of pocket for a six month's supply of contact lenses. But then, vision plan benefits vary widely between people - some people have better coverage than others. I have used ClarifEye / Dr. Griggs several years. I am impressed with the high level of professionalism and use of appropriate technology, especially the use of machine that takes a picture of the inside of the eye. Dr. Griggs patiently went through his analysis with me on the computer screen, referring to last year's picture to show that a pigment spot was not progressing. He also explained the pros and cons of some of the new eyewear technology. I highly recommend Dr. Griggs and ClarifEye Family Eyecare

JoAnn, thank you for the feedback. We have a new third-party software system that helps us communicate with our patient's. We're still learning-the-ropes with it. In response to your post, I researched the system and was able to disable that feature. You and everyone else will not have to experience getting a text reminder for an appointment months away. I appreciated the warm welcome I received when I entered the office. I checked in at the desk and was taken back to the room for the initial part of the exam. The young lady that did this part was very friendly and did her job quite efficiently. When I saw Dr. Grigg, he went over the results and reviewed the treatment I was to follow. He made sure I understood everything before I left.

I have been seeing Rob and Lisa Grigg for around 15 years. The last 3 years have been fractured appointments at best. They make appointments for you, without regard to your life. They don't contact you with options, they simply make the appointment then text or email to confirm. Blindsided that it was even upcoming. In addition, the last 2 visits have been brought to my attention with a phone call to reschedule an appointment I didn't know existed. Today was the final straw. It started with a phone call, last week, to reschedule an appointment I hadn't made or requested. I agreed to a different date and time. Upon arriving at my appointment, I was checked in and left to wait for 17 minutes. At this time, I heard the receptionist tell a caller the doctor in the office today was someone I've never even heard of. I went to the receptionist and clarified my suspicion. I cancelled my appointment, which she then asked if I wanted to reschedule. My reply, β€œNo, I'll find another provider." She didn't say a word. Didn't apologize. Didn't do anything. Also, I Ann a Certified Compliance and Trust Officer in Boise. I overheard 2 employees discussing a patient's diagnostic tests. The patient had called after receiving a voicemail. The same receptionist asked an employee, who was assisting another patient with frames, if she knew why Kathy needed to call back. The employee then asked the receptionist if it was Kathy S*****n. To which the receptionist responded, β€œYes." add they continued to discuss the patient's results across the lobby, inventory area, and reception desk. There were 2 other patients waiting to be seen, and 2 others working with employees on frames. Unbelievable. I will not be returning to this practice. De Anna Pitts - Kuna, ID

I took my 12 year old daughter in for her checkup and also to get contacts. I was so pleased with everyone they all were rooting for her and so much encouragement from the WHOLE staff!!!! Once she reached her frustration point dr Lisa came and popped them out and explained to try again once the frustration settled. With defeat on my daughters face she went to the car and they explained this was all normal and she will achieve it! Such a great staff customers for life!!!!
