We've been seeing Dr. Perez since my daughter was very young for a chronic condition. We came to him after having a bad experience at another pediatric urologist. Dr. Perez was absolutely amazing. He was extremely personable. I loved how we had very little wait time after being called to the back. (Honesty, we only waited for all of our information to be put into the system while in the waiting room) There is a great system in place for the process in the back. Everything is thoroughly explained on paper and by at least 2 people (including the doctor). He offered to let us go watch the procedure and even explained each step during the actual procedure. I was so nervous going in but now I'm so happy that we said no to the procedure being done in the hospital and had a chance to research a bit. When calling, I could never get through to anyone and had to wait for them to call back which took a few days. But with how great the experience was, I won't even take a star away for that.

Dr owumi (I think I spelled it right) was very quick with doing my baby’s procedure and her assistant took great care of my baby and I’m very happy we were allowed to be with him through the procedure. They were very thorough with educating us on aftercare as well. I would recommend this facility to anybody!

Dr Perez is by far the best doctor there is. We have been using him for years, he is great with the kids and he makes sure that you have everything you need to know before leaving the appointment but that he also gives you his cell phone number if you have any questions/concerns. My kids say he is great and feel fully comfortable with him. His staff has also always been great!! Super friendly and accommodating. I would HIGHLY recommend

Dr. Perez is extremely knowledgeable and considerate. Our first time meeting him, he was very polite and patient and explained everything we asked with ease. Each time we have a question, he immediately responds to our texts or calls and is never short of helpful. Our first visit at his office was a breeze! Not even having an appointment, we waited no more than 5 minutes in the waiting room and no more than 2 minutes once we got a room. I am so glad Dr. Perez is our son’s urologist. He is the best doctor I have ever met. If you’re looking for a real human interaction from on a doctor that cares about your child’s well-being, rather than a robotic response and uncaring attitude, Children’s Urology is the place for you.

Dr. Perez and his nurse were amazing. They were patient with my 6 yo son who has ADHD and explained everything so even he could understand. I left off 1 star because the woman who checked us in at the front desk was not very friendly. She was curt and impolite. When we were leaving I approached her to ask if we should follow up and she waived me away and said "you're done!" I was shocked by her treatment of my son and me. Especially because there was another family in the waiting room.

All staff at this practice are exceptional! Made my 5 year old feel safe in an awkward and uncomfortable situation. The nurses and Dr have a way of honestly explaining things in an easy to understand manner, and we got in and out EARLY! I loved that my baby’s circumcision only took about 10 minutes or less, the only reason I’m giving 3/5 is because when customers call, someone should be available at the phone to answer. Even though it said they were going to return the call before the end of the day.. that’s not always the case and it’s inconvenient. Other than that, very informative and professional at the actual clinic. Thank you!

Very professional and responsive. My only issue was that they could’ve told me how to care for my son’s circumcision at the hospital and provided more information then. So I had to go by the office and the door was locked I was calling and unable to reach anyone to open the door, I had to reach out to the nurse via text to get access to the office.

I am a first time momma and dr. Perez made me feel better about the whole circumcised procedure. He lighten up the mood in the room by making me laugh. When it was time for little man to go he brought him back to room 5 and said I was able to come if I wanted. I waited. He gave him the needle for the numbing and came Back and asked if I was sure I didn’t want to come back there. I decided to go ahead. The procedure was painless for my baby boy and fast! He even had some sugar to keep him distracted. Im very pleased with this facility. My sister in law Is taking her son that’s 5 months to get it done as well this month. Highly recommend good job!!!

We love Dr. Owumi and honestly, she is the only reason that we still come to this office. I consistently have trouble scheduling, not that there isn't availability, it's that Laura doesn't listen and books different days than asked for. This has happened 3 times, including a scheduled surgery. During our most recent appt, I stood in the lobby at the check in window for no less than 5 minutes waiting for someone to check us in, and we were the only people in the lobby and parking lot. Again, I would recommend Dr. Owumi for anyone in need of a pediatric urologist. Our boys love her and we love and trust her just as much!!

Overall a very pleasant and knowledgeable experience. We had to wait a bit but it was only due to a hospital emergency taking precedence (which is 100% understandable). The providers are excellent and take extra time to make sure it is done correctly and that the parent's know everything they need about the procedure or care. They also take extra steps to make sure that we know how to contact them if we have questions or concerns after returning home.

Dr. Perez came highly recommended by my son's pediatrician and I can see why. Everything went smoothly, he's very calm and efficient but not in a way that makes you feel rushed. When he gives you his cell phone number on his card he really means you can use it, and he will follow up. He and his staff are professionals and they put me at ease for both my son's circumcision and the surgery on his inguinal hernia. The surgery was a success and we can see the difference for our healthy & happy baby boy!

I showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early, waited to go back into a room for 20 minutes, then we waited 2 hours for the doctor to come in and say "We have to reschedule" and I still haven't received a call to reschedule yet. This was very inconvenient for me because my vehicle is in the shop and I had to uber there just to be told that nothing was going to happen. I also couldn't take off of work and had to bring it with me but had I taken the day off, I would have been EXTREMELY upset. For the record, this statement is coming from Cai's mother.

Wow, great service all around! I’m a first time mom and was very nervous about this whole procedure. Dr. Perez and staff could not have been better. I asked for an early release after giving birth, so the procedure wasn’t able to be completed at the hospital, giving me a little nervousnesses that this wasn’t done at a hospital, with full medical staff. From the start, making the appointment, the girls were super helpful and attentive to all my concerns. When I arrived, a little behind schedule as I’m also new in the city and didn’t know the area, they were very patient and accommodating. The staff and Dr. Perez were all very friendly and even asked if I wanted to see the easy procedure; and of course I did! Now I wouldn’t probably do this ever again, as I think I suffered more than my baby, who seemed as nothing was happening. Honestly he cries more when I change his diapers than the whole procedure itself! Before and after the procedure, I was explained what would happened and how to take care of it. I was even given Dr. Perez direct cellphone line for any questions. I’m not sure what other doctor does this, but that was an extra touch of complete service. I felt that my baby was taken completely serious and was in great hands! THANK YOU Dr. Perez and staff. You are all amazing!

This is the cheeriest children's doctor's office I have been to. So warm and inviting, playful decals in every room to help the children feel in their element. The PA we saw was friendly and funny with my daughter...knew how to explain everything that was happening in a straightforward but child friendly manner. Dr. Perez is wonderful but the font desk is horrible. They are insensitive and don’t listen. When trying to set an appointment at the uptown location they took it upon themselves to schedule me at the other location because they thought it was closer to me. I then missed my appointment and had to reschedule. No one even apologized. Instead I was accused for what happened. Something similar happened to me when scheduling other appointments in the past. If it weren’t for Dr. Perez I wouldn’t go back. I can’t stress enough how horrible the fort desk staff is!

Children’s Urology was very professional. The facilities were very clean. The wait wasn’t long at all. You can tell they all have a heart for children.

The staff at Children's Urology were extremely friendly and helpful with getting us an immediate appointment and we had no wait time at the office. Dr. Perez is excellent with kids. He explains everything thoroughly and listens to concerns and is willing to answer all of our questions. We will definitely recommend Children's Urology to others!

Dr. Perez was so great with my teen daughter. Spent time listening to her concerns and chose non-invasive methods to evaluate her. Highly recommend Dr. Perez for urinary eval and treatment.

Dr. Perez is absolutely amazing! The babies do not cry at all during the procedure. I’m actually a CNA/surgical tech so I was able to assist with my son’s surgery. Highly recommended!

As a new mom I was really anxious about taking my son in for a circumcision. I think, like any mom, I was so nervous about how I would handle him being in pain or crying. But the staff were so friendly and took such good care of him that he hardly even fussed! It was such a relief and I will definitely recommend to anyone needing to get something done for their little one.

The office staff was beyond patient and kind. The waiting area is super clean as well as organized. It was so refreshing to walk into there with my daughter and be greeted by a huge smile. Dr Winiford was so helpful when it came to easing my daughter down. She spoke directly to her as she examined her and her concerns were directed in a manner that was easy to understand. She explained in detail how she will monitor her concerns moving forward to help resolve the medical matter with my daughter.

Dr. Perez was wonderful. He spent adequate time with us in diagnosing and recommending solutions for our concerns. We are considering surgery to correct and feel very comfortable with Dr. Perez performing the procedure.

This place is great!! We was in and out in no time. We went to have a consult about my son having a circumcision. The doctor was very helpful in letting us know everything about it and the process of the surgery. I feel very confident about everything now.

Dr. Perez was super nice and informative. He even contacted us himself while we were in the hospital. He gives his personal phone number to you if you have any concerns once you leave. Our son was there to be circumcised.
