I had my second follow up appointment, but whoever I saw yesterday, I had never seen before. She walked in, saying my skin looked great, but she's never seen it before and that's the first thing she said when she walked in. Also, she hadn't looked at my skin closely enough to react that way, because my issues isn't completely cleared up. I wasn't there for typical acne, I was there because of the small bumps under the surface of my skin that you can't see from a foot away. I felt like it was very impersonal, and was taken off guard, as i was expecting to see the doctor who I went to initially for my issue, not someone new, that I never met, acting like she knew me, when she didn't, but she was obviously pretending as I had looked better than the last time she saw me, which, she never did. I felt it was very fake and I was very annoyed as it was a waste of my time to meet with someone that doesn't know my issues.

I had a very good experience in your practice. My assistant was, (if I remember correctly her name) Jacky and my doc Dr. Pritzker. Both incredible nice and I mean authentic nice! Not only does CCSD provide great cosmetic services (laser, surgery, etc.), but they have the best dermatology practice in Chicago. Not only did Dr. Jacob catch a cancerous spot another doctor had missed but also correctly diagnosed a skin issue that had everyone else stumped.

The service provider, Meghan was great, very customer centric. However, the rate the practice charges for the service, there should be a few enhancements to the delivery and setting for the services. When attending medical cosmetic offices (owned and managed by dermatologists) in the past, the settings were warm and inviting. Upon check-in, I would be offered water (front desk staff is nice, but the setting is not inviting). Again at previous office, when I entered the treatment room, the room was set to a comfortable temperature (versus freezing), a warm blanket was applied, while receiving a facial my neck and décolletage was treated. An added bonus, not needed, but was nice a little chocolate treat or trinket was given as a thank you. All of this at a lower rate than what I paid to you. Being that you are in a large city and anyone can provide the same procedure at a lower rate (dermabrasion, chemical peels, and facials), you need to set yourselves apart from the competition. I don't mind paying for quality. I hate is overpaying for mediocracy. This is just friendly customer feedback, from someone who works in health care marketing.

Liz is AMAZING for dermaplaning! I previously had an unpleasant experience with a different aesthetician for dermaplaning right before my wedding earlier in the year (thankfully the abrasions healed in time), and the aesthetician I liked had left the practice. Liz was very professional, knowledgable, and attentive to my concerns. I was in this time for a special event and the service was awesome. My skin looked and felt wonderful. I literally could have fallen asleep during the procedure - that's how GENTLE Liz was. Thank you Liz :)

I recently had a visit with Dr. Whitney Cohen and she was absolutely incredible. I felt comfortable asking any question that I had been too nervous to ask other doctors in the past regarding my skin and that was such a relief for me to finally receive those answers. She is extremely knowledgeable about skin care and what will work best considering your skin type. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely have her as a doctor of mine for a lifetime!!

Dr. Pritzker is a master at the fraxel laser and the improvements in my skin are stunning. And she is fun and funny and great to spend time with while she's doing the peel, which is an excellent way to keep from noticing all of the pricks and such. She's a great person and a great doctor. I really appreciate the care and expertise I receive at Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Derm. The entire staff from the Doctors on down and including the receptionists, always treat me as though they have my best interest and medical care in mind. I have been a patient for both cosmetic and medical procedures for four years now. I buy my sunscreen and skin care products there as well, and look to them to always guide me toward the latest science and best products. Highly recommend this practice!

Not only are the doctors excellent, in addition the support staff is so welcoming. They take genuine interest in finding out exactly what your concerns are and in communicating those to the physician. I feel the practice is able to offer the latest medical treatments yet never push procedures I have not requested.

I like that they were prompt and quick, no waiting around extra unnecessary time. The only reason I knocked down one star was because I felt the doctor did not scan my acne like I wanted her to, she just quickly told me she would give me a topical gel and that was it.

I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time before I saw the doctor for an appointment that lasted 10 minutes. It was clear the doctor had been behind all day. It would have been nice to recieve a call so I could have kept working at the office and just come in when the doctor was actually available. I was also taken into the OR for a procedure incorrectly because there were two people with the same first name in the waiting room.

Everyone at Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology was amazing! Dr. Christopoulos was extremely nice, professional and straightforward. She was realistic with me about the probability of success for my potential scar revision surgery, and did not push toward surgery, which I appreciated. She even had me speak with a dermatologist there about my other options, even though I only had an appointment with Dr. Christopoulos. They make women feel comfortable here, and I would recommend it to anybody.

Staff was rather rude. It was my first time at the office, and i wasn't told where to go and what the steps were for checking out. I had to wonder around the office, until I ended up almost heading out and the front desk girl stopped and told me to go pay. Also, they were trying to sell me things that I specifically said I did not need. I will not be recommending this office to any of my friends/family, nor will I be coming back myself.

I have never felt more comfortable going to a doctor's visit than I do when I go see Dr. Pritzker. From skin checks to botox, she makes me feel welcome, comfortable, relaxed, and that she truly cares about each of her patients. I trust her opinion and judgement and know she is an expert in her field. I recently had a mole removed that I didn't even know existed on my back. As an Oncolgy Nurse, I panicked, but was immediately reassured and calmed by Dr. Pritzkerz through her demeanor and discussion. I've never waited more than five minutes to be called back to the room and Dr. Pritzker is in the room giving me her undivided attention within minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Pritzker for all of your skin care needs.

I saw Dr. Jacobs on 6/5/17. I called on 6/5/17 & informed the staff as to what was going on with my skin & I was able to see Dr. J the same day! The condition I was seen for was sunburn on face, neck, chest, arms & stomach. I was diagnosed with PMLE which makes me sensitivity to the sun (I burn easily; literally within a matter of seconds). Anyway Dr. J was kind & attentive to my condition. She also informed me that I can get an injection that will help with my sensitivity to the sun (this information was very helpful because I have a trip planned for August & it's going to be hot/sunny where I am going). I scheduled an appt to have another injection done 3 days before I fly out.

While I understand it will take time for any treatment to work, i am a bit concerned that it really is tailored to me personally. I didn't feel that I was given a fair consultation and the doctor didn't even take the time to look at my skin before her recommendations - which includes four separate actions of treatment which seems like a lot to start off with.

I had an excellent experience on my initial consultation with Dr. Jacob. Upon arrival, I was greeting promptly by the lovely girls at the front desk and found the digital signatures and paper work extremely quick and efficient. I was escorted to the clinic in a matter of minutes and then had all of my questions thoughtfully written down in preparation for my consultation. What I loved about my experience was that Dr. Jacob really took the time to answer all of my concerns and did not rush to finish (although I know how busy she was). I asked if I could have some injections that same day and she was extremely accommodating. I didn't feel a thing and she even made it a point to say that she would be happy to see me back in a couple of weeks if I needed any refinements. Because she knew I also had a crazy work schedule she said to make sure that if I needed a specific date in mind, to have her team double check with her, as she sometimes brings her daughters with her to work in a pinch! How cute is that!? As a working mom I loved her stories of her twins and 2 year old! I would definitely recommend Dr. Jacob and her office team to others!!!

I am very happy with my first treatment (electrolysis, chin) and I thought that Whitney did a great job explaining my procedure in my initial consultation and at my appointment. It was easy, fast and pretty pain-free - just six or seven quick zaps and I was out the door. I'm 24 hours out from my service and can tell a dramatic difference. It's the first time my chin has felt smooth in years. I'd say 80% of the usually coarse hairs are gone.

A friend of mine (patient of this facility) referred me to this office, Kelsey Bachtell. During her initial consult she explained that an esthetician came in the room after the doctor gave an exam. I was looking forward to speaking with an esthetician/express my concerns. However, after the doctor examined me that was the end of my appointment. I had an aggressive form of basil cell cancer which required 4 - 5 cuts before boarders were clean. I don't recall how many cuts exactly because it was a long tough day for me and I must say that Dr. Tracy Campbell and her nurses were there with me providing excellent service and I could tell that they deeply cared about how serious this cancer was. We were all surprised actually because all that I had was a tiny pin-hole on my cheek which would not heal. It looked so small but ended up being quite the opposite. Dr. Tracy had to do a skin graph called a "flap" procedure on my face because the cancer had grown so deep and wide. I am now 6 weeks post surgery and considering the enormous hole I had in my face to remove this cancer, I am healing very well, each day it's looking better and better. Sincerely I thank the entire team at this facility and I would recommend them highly to anyone in need of a dermatologist or cancer removal. Please note this doctor is only at this location once a month but she has other locations.

What can you say when our specific needs were addressed lickety split by this Harvard trained dermatologist. As a recent transplant from LA to Central IL, my doctor in LA recommended Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology and doctor Jacob. I visited the office during the Night of Beauty and was immediately impressed. Kindly, Dr. Jacob fit me in for an appointment the next day. Dr. Jacob met with me and my mother and provided recommendations based on our questions and concerns. She was thoughtful and thorough. I received botox injections, which is not new to me; I was very happy with her expertise and method. My mom and I will be heading back up for treatments in the future. Overall, I was very pleased. I have had only pleasant experiences since I became a patient at Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology. Every staff member I have had contact with has been extremely polite and helpful. I've been going to CCSD since 2008. I see Dr. Jacob for routine skin checkups and mole removals, and Stephanie has helped me update my treatment plan throughout the years as my acne continuously finds new and improved ways to wreak havoc on my skin. I've recently started seeing Julie for PCA peels, related to the latest bout of cystic acne I developed after turning 30. Dr. Jacob, Stephanie, and Julie are all wonderful. Everyone at CCSD is very conscientious, and takes their time to get to know you and understand your needs, challenges, and lifestyle, so they can help you identify the best treatment plan. Stephanie can recall skin issues I've had from eight years ago, how we treated them, and how effective the treatment was. I've referred many of my friends, and even my siblings. Dr. Jacob did an outstanding job identifying an effective way for one of my family members to manage their years-long battle with psoriasis.

I actually made an appointment based on the treatment received when I had to make a last minute cancellation for my boss. The staff was so understanding and extended a one-time courtesy by not charging her a cancellation fee. Not many medical practices offer any courtesy or consideration when it comes to last minute cancellations, but this practice is different. This simple act is representative of the practical and professional, yet kind-natured individuals who manage this practice. I went in to my appointment with a good impression and was not let down with my personal experience. Dr. Jacob provided me with cosmetic injections, while the PA tended to my medical concerns. Neither woman tried to sell me on things I didn't need or want. While some may find the cost of cosmetic injections somewhat pricier than other location in the city, I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for, and spending a bit extra for the expertise of Dr. Jacob is worth the peace of mind.

Yesterday I completed my second treatment of miraDry. I am very happy with the results! There is a little soreness in the area, but overall I feel good. The first treatment was completed last July. Since then, the technology has improved, which means a lot less shots. The process is quick and fairly painless. I am a police officer and also serve in the National Guard. Both of these jobs can be physically demanding, especially with all of our gear and in the heat. Since the treatment, my underarm sweat has reduced dramatically. I used to have to wash my uniforms in vinegar to try to get the smell out from the underarms. After a while, the smell was permanent and I had to buy new uniforms, which are expensive. Since the treatment, this is no longer an issue. Whether it's a work uniform or a dress shirt, the sweat stains and the smell are gone! I went over a week without wearing deodorant and you couldn't even notice! Thank you to Stephanie Fox and her team!

What a JOKE! This place should be shut down by the State of Illinois. I Made an appointment with Dr. Jacob, I got looked at by an assisant's assistant named Stephanie Burns, this person is not even licenced in Dermatology!!! She told me i had pre-cancer ony face, she was very rude and condescending, and spent no more than 4 minutes with me. Someone with authority needs to shut this scam down!

Dr. Pritzker has a very professional and humble approach with her patients. It's very uncomfortable to go into a Dermatologist office with any skin imbalance, imperfection or medical condition related to your skin. My issues were adult breakouts & keloid scar removal. Dr. Pritzker made me feel like she could help and her confidence boosted my confidence. Her recommendations are on point and I am in the middle of my skin care journey with Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatologist.

I'm not sure I was mentally prepared for the Mohrs procedure - since I had two shavings I thought it would be similar and didn't realize I would be in an OR. That being said the staff was very gentle and as efficient as possible to get me fixed up and out of there so I can be at home to rest.

I had a wonderful experience other than my insurance coverage not being verified prior to my appointment (which I had been told on the phone that it would be). I would have been very upset if I had taken time off work for the appointment only to find out that my new insurance wasn't covered. Luckily it was covered and it all worked out.

offer more discounts for routine procedures such as botox, it is much more affordable elsewhere but inconvienient to have to go to another place just for a simple botox injection due to pricing.

I was having a serious medical issue and I just wish I could have gotten in sooner. I hope in the future if I have another flare-up of Mid Facial Edema I can get in on the same day. I would ask that you make exceptions for serious issues and get the patient in on the same day.
