I have been very pleased with the service and professionalism of the staff at the Suwannee location. They really care that the eyeglasses I chose fit properly and the prescription met my needs. This is what distinguishes them from other eyeglass places. They also knew my insurance well, so I knew my out of pocket costs for the glasses before I purchased them.

Dr. Peeler was great. Very personable, answering all of my questions and being thorough. I would recommend her to anyone. I do wish that when I got my eye pupil measurement that the attendant would have a better attitude. It seems like the minute I ask for that to be included on my prescription, it alerts them that I may not be purchasing glasses for them. Since there has been a lot of healthy, long overdue competition by Costco and online retailers, these independent eye care places really need to get over it and provide these services without attitude since they are required by law to do so.

The South Forsyth team has always been superb. I have to tell you, however, that I was shocked and extremely disappointed to learn that Dr. Greg is no longer seeing patients from the staff member who took my phone call to make an appointment for an annual exam. I have been a patient there since soon after this location opened. Dr. Greg has helped me through 2 very difficult situations. First detecting and referring me to a surgeon to deal with Narrow Angle glaucoma, and then later an episode with NAION and the loss of clarity of vision in my left eye. I am very loyal to him, and depended on him. It was very unsettling to me, and I think all of his patients deserve the courtesy of a personal letter from him advising of his decision to no longer see patients. The explanation given me that the business had grown so much that he needed to focus on management of the practice does not ring true. Especially when I asked if he was in the day of my eye exam and I learned that he is in from time to time but also away on vacations much of the time. Don't misunderstand me--I wish him well in partial retirement. He and Jo Ann have earned it. They deserve it. I wish them well. But why not be straight forward and completely candid with your patients? It feels less than honest to me. That said, Dr. Emely was very thorough, gave thoughtful and easy to understand explanations to my vision issues. I am certain I am in good hands with him. The wait is quick (a huge plus); the doctor I see is Dr. Spence - he is wonderful: very knowledgeable and personable, and takes time to sit down and talk about your individual lifestyle, needs, and concerns.

I've been a patient at Caris Eye Center for probably 20 years. I used to see Dr. Payne who is wonderful but in recent years due to my schedule I have been seeing Dr. Spence who is also very nice, knowledgeable and thorough. I've always had bad distance vision. Now I'm getting to the age where near vision isn't crisp, either. Dr. Payne worked with me to find contacts that support my life style (lots of reading and computer work, only occasional driving at night). I appreciate his patience and creativity as I tried multiple lenses in the office, then went home with the best as a trial pair. I'm seeing so much better now.

A stroke two years ago caused my brain to incorrectly focus the left eye. Result: straight ahead appeared to me to be slightly right. I have been a patient of Dr. Leff at Woolfson Eye Clinic for nearly 10 years. He recommended Dr. Spence for possible correction by prism glasses. Tho' Dr. Spence patiently tried every possible solution, it came down to some glasses that I chose not to take. He was understanding and kind. I'd go back to him and/or recommend him and Caris Clinic in a heartbeat.

I had another great experience with Dr. Payne! I've been seeing Dr. Payne since I was little, before they were Caris Eye Centers even! The staff is consistently friendly and professional. Dr. Payne is the best! I have a weird prescription and he has always been open to exploring any options I was interested in (contacts, glasses, Lasik, etc.) and answers any and every question I have in detail. I have never had any issues with contacts coming in on time or billing. I would strongly recommend Dr. Payne and Caris Eye Centers!

I used to have a different doctor but my old doctor sold its practice. The new doctor was ok, but when I had an emergency the receptionist asked to wait for couple days because there was nothing available. I was looking for another doctor, which accepts my plan and during my daughter's visit I was very impressed by her doctor. During my first visit I was amazed that doctor explains you everything, answers on your questions and make it clear.

The doctor was great and I would rate her at five stars. However my daughter was charge $40 for a contact lens fitting. She did not receive a contact lens fitting as she's been wearing contacts for years. I would like a refund on the $40.
