Took them over 4 months for my eyeglass lenses to come in. I received a text this week that they had "just come in." Drive an hour and a half to pick them up as I have since moved in that time to find the new lenses are completely blurry. I let them know I'll just keep my lenses I already have and take a refund because I don't live anywhere near them anymore and don't want to "try them out." They refused to refund me and tried to say they did call me when they came in, when they never did, and I showed them the text they sent as proof that they stated they "just came in." Only then did they offer to refund me $50 of the over $200 I spent. They had me wait 30 minutes to get my eyes rechecked and tried the prescription they gave me and it was still completely blurry. I waiting around in the store to see if my eyes would adjust and they never did and I couldn't risk leaving the new lenses in my frames when it would be another 3 hour trip for me to come back to have them fix it so I let them know they don't work. The staff then started treating me as if they thought I was trying to get something for free from them. They kept asking me what I was trying to get from them. That was probably the worst part of my experience. It's bad enough to make some wait 4 months when they should have been ready in a week, and to not stand behind your work, but to then treat your customer like they are the ones trying to work the system is so out of line. I ended up just leaving with my original old lenses from years ago in my frames, letting them keep the ones I spent over $200 on and wasting 4 hours of my day. I understand the lenses were billed through my insurance, but if they were willing to make the effort considering how many months they had me wait, they could have fixed it. Not a way to treat people. Will never be back.

All staff, including Dr. Cargo, were excellent, capable, courteous and efficient. The office kindly worked me in on a busy Friday afternoon for a non-emergency issue that needed attention. I did not have to wait long at the same-day appointment or at the follow-up.

Staff is always friendly and professional. Scheduling appointments is super easy. There is very little wait time, if any. My questions are always answered, and I don't feel like Dr. Cargo ever tries to upsell me or recommend things I don't truly need.

I’m done with this office. They are too crowded and the staff is inconsistent. At the original appointment we were there for 2 hours, and people that were walk-ins for glasses were helped before my son. I asked for a hold on my contacts order but instead they put a hold on my son’s glasses, 2 different people and two different products. Ridiculous!

I showed up on the wrong day for my appointment and they fit me in anyway. The assistant and Dr. Cargo were both pleasant and answered all my questions. When I didn't find a pair of frames I liked, they gave me my prescription to take elsewhere without making a big deal of it. I would definitely recommend this practice if they take your insurance.

I still gave a 5-star since I've always came for the past 10+ years. Just the past 2 times I've gone they've had issues with the Care Credit website not able to take my card due to them not being able to log in with their credentials. They have to log in to swiipe/enter my card info. They've had to call me later once they've reset their password and submit my info over the phone. Hopefully that gets fixed so I can just do any transactions there and not have to worry that they have to call me later. I work in Customer Service and don't always have the luxury of answering the phone when folks call. Hope this helps.

I like the fact that I can make my appointment online. When I do show up the staff is professional and checks me in and explains the documents that I need to fill out or read. The staff doing the pre-exam work are great and extremely helpful. Dr. Cargo reviews the results of the exam with me and answers any questions that I have. They also have a great staff that will help you with lenses and frames.

I really adore this office. The exam always feels very thorough and the doctor does a great job of listening and explaining everything. I would give it a 10, but the receptionist can be a little short with some people. I love that when I check out the front desk individual prompts me for a note for school return. This really helps since I'm always forgetting!

Dr. Cargo is great. The staff is very professional and nice to work with. The only thing I do not feel it is necessary is each time you visit the office, one is put through a series of eye/vision tests which I feel are not needed if one hasn't been gone too long. Even if you go the next day, one has to go through the same eye/vision tests. Other than that I highly recommend going here.

I'm the spouse of the visitor. I’m visiting cargo eye care las colinas for last 3+ years for the regular eye checkup. My insurance doesnt cover retina test but general eye checkup only. However they mandated the retina test saying it is part of comprehensive test now and cant go with eye test if i dont agree to it. Though i’ve done retina test for last 3 yrs when its optional and don’t need this year, they aren't ready to agree to it. This retina test is optional until last year with cargo eyecare. I’ve cancelled the appointment and took test only for my spouse. Turn out to be money minded with unnecessary test.

New to the area and this was my second visit. Several weeks prior I broke my glasses and needed a quick repair. Cargo Eye Care was close to where I live so I called and they said come in and they would look at my glasses. 15 minutes after my arrival my glasses were fixed. It was a simple repair and there was no charge. Now that is customer service. I also got a cheap pair of glasses so I have a backup.

Your people were very thorough, professional and friendly but it was a long time to get to see one of them. We had to wait at least 35 minutes after our appointment time before we ever started. After our exam, we were going to see about some glasses but after waiting 15 minutes gave up and checked out. Just not enough help for the business or over booked I guess.

Even in COVID times, Dr. Cargo and staff made me feel extremely comfortable in their office and during my yearly exam. The office staff was constantly cleaning surfaces, rooms, and door placards noted if a room was or wasn't cleaned. My yearly eye exam was as complete as any other year and no corners cut. I appreciate Cargo Eye Care's commitment to patient safety, on-scheduling and ability to communicate with the staff when needed.

Dr. Patel is fine. But, the staff of ladies out front are horrible! Super rude and lack any tact whatsoever. I brought my husband here and was excited thinking it was a good place, but I was mistaken. We will not be going back next year or those to come. The girl helping my husband pick out glasses was rude and so was Blake the receptionist. She mentioned insurance fraud in an accusatory manner and was somewhat impatient when it came to the paying and ordering process. We were also told that our prescription was only good for a specific pair of lenses, which is false! And they even thought we were trying to walk back behind to go speak to the doctor! We simply asked to speak with her again as we waited by. Don't waste your money here, people. With the exclusion of the doctors, the female staff are a bunch of hormonal fecal matter on legs!! So disappointed.

I love Cargo Eye Care! I drive from Highland Village because Dr. Cargo and his team provide such excellent service. As a diabetic, regular eye checks are essential to make sure that I am not developing diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Cargo is very thorough and has a very easy manner. I tend to be somewhat anxious about any kind of doctor visit, but Dr. Cargo's team always makes me feel very safe and comfortable.

In this time of COVID, I think everyone is a little on edge. However, I was treated very well in my visit: I had tried to make an appointment online, but there was some kind of snafu and it hadn't gone through. The staff were very accommodating, and was able to squeeze me in. The facilities are clearly being cleaned and I felt completely comfortable in my visit there.

In addition, they are technically equipped with electronic reminders and notices when it's time to book or your glasses are ready including text messaging for those of us who only talk on the phone when we have to. The facility is well equipped with latest instruments and people are more warm and welcoming. The options of frames are bit limited. Also the lenses seems to be more pricey compared to other places. Last but not least please don’t send coupons that can not be used with insurance given most of your customers are using insurance.

Cargo Eye Care of LC provides full service eye care. I'm able to schedule an appointment easily and quickly, if needed. The doctor is friendly and an expert, he even caught some issues with my eye early on. If you need contacts or glasses the selection is wide and the prices are fair. The technicians and associates are very professional and it's obvious they love what they do. I actually enjoy my eye appointments every year. If you're looking for a small-town feel doctor with all the new advances in eye care, I'd highly recommend seeing Cargo.

The Optometrist is good, but his front end staff is borderline incompetent. They try to charge for services that are covered by and paid for by EyeMed insurance. You have to watch them closely. They charged me $69 and then I checked insurance benefits and it was all covered. When I called them on it, they half-apologized and blamed it on "human error." Looking back to previous years, they billed me for stuff that was covered as well. Watch them closely!
