Dr. Vinagre is very professional that is why I followed her to Wareham from her practice in New Bedford 15 - 20 years ago. I trust her with my eyesight and we’ll worth the travel. Dr Vinagre explains each step of the exam and tracks historical data. The staff is very professional and helpful also

Best Visit to the Eye Doc. Ever! Such a nice and easy spot to get to. I am so happy to have found an eye doctor that I love so much. Dr. Michelle was really calm and kind, the work was done quickly, and my contacts were fitted with ease. When I needed my glasses script, it was sent to me via email which was super easy. Definitely letting everyone know how great it was!

I became a patient of Dr Vinagre's about 3 years ago, after getting frustrated with the folks at my last eye shop. They also had a small homey place, with friendly faces, where everyone knew your name. Then they moved down the block, to a bigger building, with that came more people, people who didn't know you, (which was OK). However, the crazy fees started for things that were complementary in the past, the smiling faces were gone. People were stressed. I needed to leave there!! I would bring my Dad for his appointments with Dr V, and everyone was fabulous. They all said "Hi Mr. Silva", when we walked in, EVERYONE, EVERY TIME! It was such a breath of fresh air, such a change. He wasn't the only one, each customer that comes in is greeted the same way, either Mr. or Mrs. or by their first names. I know not everyone has a perfect day everyday, but you can always find a smiling face.. NO faces at Cape Optical. Not to mention their professionalism, prices and speed in getting your new frames in. 5 STARS ALL AROUND!!

I’m truly grateful for Dr Vinagre and all staff at Cape Optical. Every time I have my eye appointment everyone is very kind, attentive, caring, helpful and go out of their way to make my appointments easy and as stress free as possible. I tend to get anxiety and Dr Vinagre and staff always take such good care of me, are patient with me, help me feel heard, seen and cared for. I wouldn’t want any other team helping to care for my eyes and getting me to be able to see in the best possible way. Dr Vinagre always explains things thoroughly and makes sure I understand when she is explaining to me. I can’t tell enough of my friends/family about how great they are. Best team around!

I first started seeing Dr. Vinagre back in Dartmouth many years ago. She was such a great doctor that I did not hesitate to continue seeing her when she moved her practice to Wareham. Dr Vinagre is very thorough and has nothing but your eye health as her upmost concern. She is not there to see you glasses or contacts, but there to make sure your eyes get the best care possible. She doesn't talk down to you and will explain whatever your prognosis is. I would recommend Dr Vinagre 100%

Michelle was great. The rest not so much. Picked up my glasses 8 days after my exam. Got a text 20 mins after I called to see if thet were ready. Apparently they were but someone was to lazy to check (hence they texted me 20 mins later to tell me they wete ready). Even put me in hold for 30 seconds. No big deal. Then I have to pull up and call so they can bring them to my car. Therefore no fitting. Glasses were full of fingerprints and I actually had to clean them with my covid mask right in front of her while letting her know my glasses were filthy. No cloth came with my glasses. Even Walmart gives you a cloth. I understand the covid thing but. I spent a half hour in the waiting area for my exam. Another in a small room for the exam. I cant go in for 5 mins for a fitting?? Don't understand. This is what U spent $400.00 on.

The employee helped me to the best of her ability but unfortunately I think the problem can not be easily rectified. I purchased frames for my new lenses that are just too small for my head and are actually comfortable. I didn't realize it at the time I purchased them. I only realized it after wearing them for a week or so. The employee tried to help by adjusting the arms of the glasses and it helped but did not solve the problem. I need to come back in and perhaps order new frames.

My experience at Cape Optical was awesome from start to finish. I scheduled an eye exam (my first one as an adult) and the entire staff made me feel totally comfortable. The front desk staff were efficient and professional. The staff member who performed my initial eye exam was great and made what could have been a strange, unfamiliar experience fun and pleasant. Dr. Michelle Vinagre was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She explained everything to me about my eyes and thoroughly tested my eyes until we found the perfect prescription for me. she really knows her stuff! And lastly the woman I ordered my glasses was from and checked out with was an absolute pleasure as well. I can’t wait to keep coming back here throughout my life for all my eye care needs!!!

Hi to be honest with you. I was very disappointed. Was there for a glasses recheck that's what was told. When I arrived and was asked for my vision card. Told her this visit was about my glasses I had previously bought so did not know why they needed my card. . As I am just about ready to leave after finally being told the problem is I was sold a lower quality lens then I was used to. And told it would be another 4hundred something to get the same type of lens that I had. Are you kidding me.

Dr. Michelle Vinagre is always very pleasant when you see her. During my contact exam she really broke down for me how contacts work as I am a first time user. Her worker Nicole was also very nice at good at explaining how to wear contacts. The receptionist was pleasant as well. Didn't take too long at all to complete the appointment. All around good experience !

We followed Dr Vinagre from BJ's. We live in Tiverton RI and find it unfortunate in order to have ins cover me I will have to make three trips to the office in one year. One complaint...there is usually a moderately substantial wait to be seen but I guess that is the case pretty much everywhere. We feel Dr V is thorough and very nice.

Day after appt had a subconjunctival hemmorhage in l eye...wonder if exam Contributed...left eye itchy night before,rubbed it. Concern re assist test that She said actually touched the cornea. Condition harmless but annoying as it Lasts 1 -2 weeks and my daughter is visiting for nxt 2 wks. Know for symptoms to Watch for if problm arises before calling my dr. My blood pressure has been normal. Otherwise impressed with optom's knowledge and nice manner. Will wait On dilation as high probability I cld be allergic to drops used..they can cause Serious side effects. I have had past serious reactions to meds! Thanks.jfr
