Friendly and fun. The ladies in the office start the appointment with smiles and warm. They get you right in and explain the eyes tests. Dr Lei is quick with a smile and a laugh. She treats you more like a neighbor than a patient. I really appreciated the explanation of what I eyes looked like at the end of the appointment. I’m very pleased.

I always appreciate the fact that my appointments here have very little wait time, yet nothing is rushed and the doctor does the pre-tests herself and goes into as much explanation about everything as I want. I ask a lot of questions, so that's very appreciated! My eyes are hard to test and Dr. Lei has gotten my prescription right on point. Her opticians spend plenty of time helping you pick out your frames, just like a friend, and adjust them to your heart's content. It's always an enjoyable experience going for my annual eye exam here.

I recently moved to Cameron Park and was looking to establish care with a new eye doctor. The office had availability to get me in for an appointment promptly and are open into the late afternoon which helped with my tricky schedule. Upon arriving the receptionist was very kind and helpful in filling out new patient paperwork - which was actually super easy to do on their iPad. Within a few minutes I met with Dr. Lei. She is friendly, personable, and very knowledgable. She took her time assessing my vision and checking the health of my eyes. I felt she was very thorough and took time to talk with me about different options after. I did not feel rushed by her at all. So thrilled to have found a found the best eye doctor in CP on my first try! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a new eye doctor.

I was very pleased with Dr. Lei. My only concern was with the cost of the three tests given by an assistant. I either did not hear or misunderstood what each test was going to cost me. I would highly recommend a form with a check off and a signature so there is NO confusion regarding what each test cost and which are authorized.

I had some drastic changes with my vision in the last couple weeks which were very concerning to me. I called and they were able to get me in right away. The staff were warm and friendly and greeted me right away and took me back promptly to do the tests. Dr. Lei was extremely nice, professional and thorough. She went over my results and showed me the areas of concern and why my vision changed. She went over the follow up care I would need, my options for future treatment and the necessity to call right away if I continue to see changes. I would highly recommend their office if you are looking for an eye doctor. They are great and both the doctor and staff are knowledgeable and able to answer your questions quickly and efficitly.

Cameron Park Eyecare Optometric Center was a great experience. The office is clean and tidy and the staff is well versed on appropriate sanitization protocols during COVID (i.e., providing sanitizer, wiping down surfaces, wearing masks, etc.). The staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Winnie Lei was great with me. She conducted a thorough eye exam, explaining the process and what she was doing/looking for each step of the way. She went over all my options afterwards, making recommendations based on the needs of my exam results and personal preferences. They have a variety of lenses and brands to choose from. I was so sad when Dr. Coit sold his practice to Dr. Lei and moved to Colorado Springs. But afterwards I was so positively delighted when I met Dr. Lei personally. Not only she has impressive professional credentials, she also is very pleasant to interact with. Explains everything in simple terms and is never in a rush. In addition, she never runs late (a rarity in her profession). My maximum wait time in her office is less than three minutes.

My vision had become distorted in one of my eyes over the past few months so I visited Cameron Park Eyecare for what I thought was going to be a routine visit. Thanks to Dr. Winnie for investing in state of the art equipment, that enabled her to detect that I have a macular hole in my eye that requires surgery. She took the time to explain the condition and how to get it resolved. Very happy with my overall experience.

Dr. Lei is thorough and explains the condition of your eyes very well so you can understand completely. She gives you options and future expectations. She is very nice and courteous. The office staff, especially Julie, is outstanding. They completely understand insurance options even if you have multiple plans of coverage. They make recommendations based on coverage so you get the most from your insurance. They also help you pick out the best looking frames and consider your budget. They don't try to sell you things you don't need or want. The delivery of your new glasses is very fast and they do free adjustments and repairs if necessary. Cameron Park Eyecare has good parking and is convenient even if you live in Folsom or Placerville. I have been going there for over 10 years and am VERY happy with the personnel, care and service I receive.

The only complaint I had was that I felt like the choice of frames was very limited - they all seemed a lot the same 2 or 3 shapes with only a few very minor variations. I did find one pair that were OK but would not have been exactly what I would have cosen
