I never in all my life thought I would enjoy or even look forward to a Dental appointment. I absolutely love going to Dr. Byers’s office. The staff is always extremely kind and professional, the techs are awesome and Dr Byars is a really cool dude. My fear of the dentist is gone forever thanks to this group of people.

I went to my appointment feeling fearful and anxious because I hadn’t been to a dentist in years. Dr.Byars and all of the staff in the office made sure I felt comfortable and did not judge me for my nervousness or my teeth. Staff understood and took time to make sure I was comfortable and explained every step of the way to me. This has been the first time I have loved going to the dentist! I am excited to continue being a patient for Dr.Byars!

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Byars and his staff! It has been such a pleasure getting to know them through my daughters being his patients for years and now me. Dr. Byars has created such a welcoming and comfortable environment and it is very obvious he genuinely cares about the health of his patients as well as what is going on in their lives. He is a great communicator, extremely knowledgeable and very trustworthy which makes everything easier on the patient. All staff is kind and thorough too. I wish I would have switched to Dr. Byars sooner!

Dr. Byars and his entire staff are very warm and welcoming. Veronica has been my hygienist for several years which I think speaks to a work culture that has such tenured staff from the front desk to the dental professionals. They are professional and great communicators from scheduling your appoints all the way through whatever procedure you are having done. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Byars' practice is a "feel good" place to be. Veronica and I spend a lot of time laughing. She is so sweet and such a gentle dental hygenist. Dr. Byars is very friendly, thorough, attentive and punctual and has great answers to my questions. The office staff is wonderful. They constantly go out of their way to help or get answers to your questions.

Dr. Byars and his whole staff are wonderful to work with! Everyone is warm, friendly and professional. They are knowledgeable in their jobs and it truly feels like you’re in good hands every step of the way! Everyone works as a team and seamlessly help each other out when needed. I’ve communicated mostly with Jess and she is so genuine and gives you her complete attention. She’s even texted me on a weekend when I left a message late on a Friday not expecting anything back until Monday. Dr Byars has created a team of caring professionals and the office feels like a very positive environment. People seem genuinely happy and get along well with each other. Dr Byars himself is positive and after a number of visits there, I know he truly cares about me as a dental patient but also as a whole person. He is very in tune with how your dental health affects other parts of your life. He is very knowledgeable and keeps up on new and helpful information and dental procedures. More than anything, I like Dr Byars because he takes the time ti listen to any concerns you have. I trust him knowing he is always aware and proactive about the pain that can come with dentistry. I used to be scared to sit in a dental chair but now trust Dr Byars to make my dental treatments as pain free as possible. I would definitely recommend Dr Byars and his staff!

Our teenage son left his appointment feeling like he was treated “as a family member”. He was greeted by several people during his visit who knew his name, not just the front and office staff, but the clinicians in the treatment area as well. He actually enjoys going to the dentist … now if that isn’t a true testimony to your excellent practice, I don’t know what is!! I was very impressed with Dr. Byars. He started off our appointment by sitting down with me and really listening to my concerns. His communication was excellent and he is very knowledgeable about the implant process. I also appreciated Jess. His assistant who was very kind and professional. Even his front desk people were so helpful and friendly. I really felt the whole office environment was welcoming and had a positive feel to it thanks to Dr. Byars and the people he surrounds himself with.

I recently had a bad experience with a local dentist. Dr Byars exceeded my expectations and made me feel comfortable, rather than being shuffled through quickly and always being asked for payment upfront, sometimes during the actual treatment.

Dr. Byars and his employees were absolutely wonderful. I called as a completely new patient with cracked wisdom teeth, they made sure they could get me in the next day for a referral!! They answered all my silly questions and made sure to explain everything they did/ were looking for. The kind of customer service we look for but rarely find!!! 100% recommended!!!

Personally, I am not a fan of going to the dentist, which is why it is so important to me to find an excellent practice. Dr. Byars treats you well - explains everything simply and makes sure you are comfortable. Staff is all the same way. Newer to practice, yet feel like long time client already. Highly recommend.

My experience was excellent. I had an emergency and was worked in the same day. I arrived early and still didn't have to wait. The woman that initially took xray and gave consultation was a good listener, respectful, friendly, and a fountain of information. Like wise, Dr. Byars was the same. Byars seems to be a true professional interested in my concerns. I feel confident in my future dental health.

I have had lots of experience with dentists, given the fact I have had several dental issues during the last few decades, and I can honestly say that Dr. Byars is one of the best. When I was told by an endodontist that I needed to get two teeth pulled because the roots were cracked, I went to Dr. Byars for a second opinion. He got me in quickly, did an exam, and shared that he didn't see the indicators for that and sent me to a different endodontist who did a root canal on one of the teeth and confirmed that the other tooth looked fine. Both she and Dr. Byars were correct and they saved the two teeth in question. I appreciate that Dr. Byars has state-of-the-art equipment and also adds a personal and professional touch to his practice. It's not often that the dentist comes out to the waiting room to greet you. And his staff is competent, professional and personable. I'm extremely happy with this dental practice.

If you live in Liberty or even north of the river, you are making a mistake not using Dr. Byars and his staff. He takes time to fully explain everything that he is going to do and makes you as comfortable as possible. By far the best Dentist I have ever been to, cannot recommend him and his office enough.

It gives me great pleasure sharing my thoughts and experience with dentist, Dr. Michael Byars, and the staff. Dr. Byars had been my dentist for several years when residing in the Kansas City area. Because of his expertise and professionalism, I travel from NC back to KC for all dental needs, that includes cleanings. As a patient of his practice, teamwork is experienced. If possible, I would provide ongoing excellent care to others and would do so on an interstate billboard.

This may be a long review but I believe that Byars Dental will have such a huge impact on my self-esteem and confidence that an honest and thorough review is necessary. I have untreated ADHD and an intense anxiety which happens to be triggered by the dentist. From sounds to smells and even the chair itself. Not only is it difficult to actually see the dentist but with my ADHD, an oral hygiene routine is asking a lot. Needless to say I have work that needs done. At the first appointment, which was just discussion based, I felt that staff really understood and offered many ways to alleviate some anxiety. Small things like offering headphones and just comforting and reassuring words go such a long way. I had attempted to make dentist appointments at other offices but after the first meeting would usually cancel the follow up appointment. TBH, I did reschedule twice before keeping my second visit with Byars but I didn't cancel! On my second appointment, they did some xrays and mapping of my mouth, a little difficult but the staff member not only explained the process but would actually help me through breathing exercises to help calm my nerves! Wow! I scheduled my third visit for two days later and I didn't reschedule! I kept it and went in for a cleaning!!! At this point, with credit to the staff, I was hitting the ground running! I was anxiously pumped! Again, staff made sure I was taken care of, kept me calm, was VERY gentle and understanding of my anxiety. I wore headphones and listened to my choice of music. After the teeth cleaning, the hygienist herself was excited to show me the work she did! She told me, "Just wait! Let me get the mirror!" I took one look and was AMAZED. I had tears in my eyes. They were not the same teeth just from a cleaning! After my cleaning, Dr Byars and I discussed the plans to move forward with slightly more extensive work. I am still nervous, but I KNOW I am in good hands. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

I had a toothache and had not established a dentist in the area yet. After reading great reviews on Dr. Byars, I filled out a request for an appointment on their website just hoping they’d be able to squeeze me in the next couple days and hoping for the best. I got a call from the doctor with in the next short time letting me know they got my email and checking to see how I was doing. They let me know they would get me in when they opened in the morning for an emergency evaluation. The staff was very personable and careful with their work! They offered multiple options for care and were very thorough in all their explanations. Very impressed with my experience. This will definitely be my new dentist office!

Excellent staff!!! I have an extreme phobia of dentists. I have panic and anxiety attacks even talking about going to the dentist. I don't think that will be an issue anymore!! Dr. Byars is kind, patient and understanding. He listened to me and asked questions that would help him to help me. There was no judgement or shame over the condition of my teeth. I was made comfortable throughout the entirety of my visit. No one tried to pressure me into any certain plan of care. I couldn't be happier with the care I've received thus far. Each staff member I met was just as kind and considerate as Dr. Byars was. If you have been avoiding the dentist either out of fear, shame or both; Dr. Byars' office is THE place for you!

Very professional operation, clean office and friendly staff. Dr. Byars is a genuinely nice guy who is honest and I believe he sincerely cares about my family's dental care. He recommends preventative treatments from time to time but I have never felt pressured to commit to any of them. And if you need to commit to a procedure, they usually offer some payment options. It's a great place to take kids. Dr. Byars and other staff often ask us questions about things we talked about at our last visits 6 months ago, about things going on in our life, so over time, you kind of feel like they get to know you a bit. Sometimes, Dr. Byars will call and follow up after a visit to see how you are doing, if you may be experiencing discomfort or have questions about healing or further caring for your teeth. That sort of personalized attention is something I have not experienced at previous dentists. I would definitely recommend this dentist office.

Absolutely love Dr Byars and his staff. When living on Virginia my dentist there was an absolute protectionist and took continuous improvement and education seriously. I guess I took that for granted. After moving to KC, and before learning about Dr Byars, I needed a crown. When it was seated I was immediately disappointed and felt I could have done a better job of molding a crown out of clay. That was when I started asking around for recommendations. I love this office. They always know mine and my kids' names whenever we walk in for an appointment. They truly care about giving you the best experience. We ❤️ Dr Byars!!! Very welcoming office staff!! Hygienists and assistants are very knowledgeable and accommodating!!! Dr Byars is a wealth of knowledge and meets every client with a smile and a handshake!! ❤️ the sense of humor he brings to the office!!! This is a great dental clinic. The staff is always very friendly and I have always been seen on or before my appointment time. They are very thorough and discuss any issues that they see or anything they see that might be an issue in the future.

It's an easy task to share my thoughts regarding Dr. Michael Byars dental practice. From Dr. Byars himself to Amanda at the front desk and Veronica as the hygienist, is an outstanding team. I live 35 minutes away, yet would drive several hours for Dr. Byars and his entire staff overseeing my dental care.
