The only negative was that I was trying to get an appointment after work and your website said you are open until 5:30 but when I called to see if I could get an appointment I was told you close at 5. It was a blessing in disguise though because we wouldn't have found you otherwise and I was able to get an appointment for the next morning.

Highly recommended. Dr. Susan is great, she is thorough and takes her time answering all questions and concerns . Additionally, her assistant, Kalie was her name I believe, is just as thorough with the pre-testing before the doctor came in. The frame stylist, Aislynn is extremely helpful and honest. This first charge was the wrong price, but she immediately fixed and then sent the glasses out the same day to be prepared. Again, helpful and thorough team that seems to like theirs jobs and are not there just to rush anyone out with the bare minimum.

This was an unscheduled visit due to severe eye discomfort caused by a contaminated contact lens. Even though I did not have an appointment I was seen without a long delay. Dr. Cassie removed my contacts, eased the discomfort and gave clear instructions how to care for the eye over the next several days.

My total time in the office was two hours, which I find unacceptable. I waited for almost 45 minutes to be called in. Regarding the multiple video monitors: I am not a fan of contemporary Christian music and related videos. I would suggest perhaps some classical music or similar. Also, I spent some time in the secondary waiting room that was playing some rather annoying children's cartoons (although the average age of those waiting was 60+ with no children being present). At times, there were three video streams that were competing; the cartoons, the Christian music videos and an optometrist explaining something. Although I appreciate the effort to be contemporary and modern, the videos are really overdone. I would suggest that the furniture be upgraded to something more comfortable, especially if people have to wait for extended periods of time.

I walked in and was in awe at the decor of the building, the pleasant staff and the "Eye Love Guatamala" program described on the lobby. The education I got on the screens while waiting to be called back was great. The tech getting the initial information was thorough and delightful. The dentist "Dr. Cassie" was just as wonderful as the rest of the staff. She was professional yet personable. Ya'll have a good thing going on here.

I've always seen an eye exam as just another mandatory annual appointment, and so I often put it off until I run out of contacts and need a new prescription to replenish my supply. My experience with the Blount County Eye Center was different. This difference was apparent from the time I made my appointment. While I was expecting to wait weeks to be seen (which has always the case with my other eye care providers), I was able to get an appointment almost immediately. The staff member with whom I spoke on the phone was very courteous and helpful with scheduling my appointment. When I attended my appointment, each staff member with whom I interacted was friendly and eager to help. My experience was more than just another annual appointment; it was an enjoyable experience. I have already scheduled an appointment for my wife, and will be referring my friends, family, and colleagues.

I have cataracts forming and he informed me of the new procedure for removal that is less invasive and faster healing. So,I am happy about that and that and that the surgery can be performed niw at the new office with your new Dr. That specializes in thus procedure. EVER ONE WAS FRIEND AND VERY Professional.

One of the friendliest places I've been to in a lone time. We came in because of my husband's eye abscess and were able to be seen quickly without the beurocracy of going through a PCP for a referral. The receptionists are also well-informed and for once, explained the optional tests and their importance, so I could make an informed decision. My only desire is to be able to hear Veggie Tales better, but moving where I was seated fixed a lot of that issue.

I wish I had been made aware of this when I made the appointment. Insurance questions should be asked before appointments are confirmed

I was very impressed with all the staff,so friendly & helpful. All the test I took were pain free & I was amazed by the new technology of equipment. The only problem was eye dilation in that I didn't receive the special sun protectors for my glasses. I have transition glasses but they weren't enough. Made driving a little tough to do. But other than that, I am very pleased with your office & staff. I really felt welcomed. Thanks!!

My appointment time was 10:30 I didn't go back for eye tests until 11:00. She couldn't take my blood pressure because the cuff didn't work. She said we would take it in Another exam room but that didn't happen. When I got to the room where the doctor was going to see me I waited there for quite a while.. I think she came in close to 12:00... I didn't not get my eyes dilated because of the time issue I had to be somewhere by 12:30... Honestly the only reason I would come back is because the doctor was so personable and knowledgable. She definitely diffused my time frustration... I work on a time schedule all day and I would definitely call clients if I was going to be that far behind...

The time waiting was far, far too long and front office staff did not address that fact at all. No one bothered to appologize at all or even acknowledge that I was waiting so long. I wanted to see an OD to get a proper refraction and near point testing. I could have gone to an MD for the vision exam I got at this office. The eye health portion, however, was quite thorough and well satisfied my needs there.

By the time Dr Lloyd saw me it was way past lunch and he didn't take the time to talk to me about how my eye health was looking, especially if my cataracts were getting bigger. I realize they were short staffed and that caused the delay. I would like to know about the cataract situation.

I Enjoy my visits to See Dr. Lloyd. He is very thorough and I fully understand everything that is going on with my eyes. I recently had the cateract removed from my left eye and I was not nervous or aprehensive about the procedure at all. I hope in the next month or so to do my right eye. Love you guys!!

There was one person in front of us who had just started her eyeglass order, so we had to wait about 30 minutes begin our order - that only happened because another person finally came out to help. There were 3 - 4 people waiting for similar services after us. I know one left before being taken care of.

Seems the customer help picking frames, etc is well under staffed. Only one girl to wait on everyone. Two people off the street came in and were waited on before me. Then the price i was given for a pair of "workplace glasses" was outrageous. I don't believe my insurance was charged properly. After listening to two unhappy customers prior to this, i doubt if i buy any glasses through your office. Although the eye exam was very thorough and very informative, I will come back for my yearly exams.

The only comment that I have is that this was my daughter's first eye exam and she wanted contacts.I had to "ask" about her having a back-up pair of glasses rather then the staff suggesting that to us. Even though her eyes aren't real bad, she is driving now so I would have thought that suggestion would have been made by the staff rather then at my insistence as her mother. But I was very pleased and have an appointment myself with you next month. Over-all, great service and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We are very pleased with your services and plan to continue to come there going forward.

I was very disappointed with my first visit and will not utilize BCEC for any future exams. Visit started great as Caroline was nice and welcomed me. I waited 40 minutes past my appointment time before I was taken in back for the start of my exam. After retinal pictures I waited for Dr. Lloyd to come in and speak with me regarding my exam and any changes to my current prescription. I waited ~15 minutes between when my eyes were checked and Dr. Lloyd to come in. During that time I waited in the corner exam room, facing a desk with a laptop in the hall that several girls were using. During my 15 minute wait for the doctor several of the staff congregated at that desk and gossiped about other patients that were there at the same time I was. Unfortunately, they were not quiet and I could hear all their conversations; not very professional. Overall, the appointment just got worse and I spent 3 hrs. there between the appointment and ordering contacts/glasses. Very Dissatisfied!!

I developed an eye inflammation while traveling. I called Dr. Tantum's office. His medical assistant handled my conern, communicated my symptoms with Dr. Tantum, and called in prescription for me. She handled my concerns and need so professionally! At my office visit some days later, the staff and Dr. Tantum were very helpful. I am grateful to have Dr. Tantum as my eye physician.

I see why that individual is no longer there, but I still did not get my frames replaced. And yes I still am using your frames that allow me to see. So I suppose when my eye changes enough I will buy another set of glasses. And life goes on. Yes, staff will say he left okay but NOT REALLY!!!

This was my second time coming here and I enjoyed it a lot more than my first time. The first time I was there and had to pick out glasses the lady didn't show me all my options. I have United Health Care so my insurances only covers those three white boxes. She only showed me the men's glasses and when I asked if there was anything else she said that was all I got to choose from. The lady this time was very sweet and nice! She showed me all my options and I got to pick out a very cute pair of glasses that I'm really going to enjoy wearing! I think her name was Lindsey and if so thank you so much for helping and thank you for having great customer service!
