I was experiencing a very sensitive tooth, fearing it would become a nightmare of a tooth ache. I was hoping an appointment would be available in the next two weeks or so. They got me in the next day!. You walk in hesitant if not fearful. You walk out feeling like you've been comforted by a close friend. Dr. Bishop and staff are a treasure.

The doctors are all fantastic however I have considered changing offices because my cleanings are always terrible, sometimes I can't even tell they did it. They didn't clean the insides of my teeth, they don't floss every tooth, and they just touch the toothbrush to the front of each tooth without getting the whole tooth. I love the doctors and I keep thinking the poor cleanings are a one off but it has happened many times now across multiple techs. They are all so incredibly kind and friendly, it is professional and a positive experience in every other way.

I love going to Bishop Dental. There is a high level of professionalism from every employee, whether Dentist, Hygienist or support staff. My wife and I left our old Dentist Group because they were constantly pushing for unneccessary work. Bishop Dental does not take this approach! I was referred to Bishop Dental by a friend of mine who had been there and loved the service. After my first visit, I received a call that night from John Bishop, just to check on me. I love the "old school" customer service approach. It is much appreciated. I plan to be a "lifer" with them.

Was shown the door yesterday because the office staff was either to ignorant or misinformed from my insurance company or the staff mixed me up with another patient entirely. Cigna called and spoke with staff after I left they explained to the office I was ready for exam and full panoramic xray at 0% deductible 100 % covered. Called office manager back she refused to admit the insurance company called and explained to her I was covered for the procedures. Then she stated I wasn't welcomed as a patient. I found an emergency dentist in salt lake I have infection from that tooth gave me clindamycin 300mg. I set an appointment with your office asking you for help Dr. Bishop. You couldn't even take a look at the tooth and or write a prescription for antibiotic shame on you. As Dr. Stephen's explained yesterday why would you want a dentist who doesn't put medical needs first and let someone walk out with infection. Thanks Dr. Bishop also this is a tooth you worked on previously.

They always do a good job and make me feel comfortable. My appointment was schedule at 2pm right after lunch and there were probably 6 other people there at the same time. I took an hour of time out of work to get a routine check up. I didn't think it would take longer than and hour and I had to notify them that I had to leave for a meeting at work. Maybe they let people know how long the appointment will take when its made or at least let them know when they come in. That way if someone doesn't have enough time they could see them first and get them out ASAP.

The office was and nice and the staff was friendly, however i do not like the set up in the back. For someone who has anxiety when it comes to seeing the dentist, the last thing i want is to be able to see everyone and hear everyone and what their problem is or the work being done to them. I could see ever person down the line and make eye contact with each one. I also never saw the dentist, he came in looked at the X-rays and told me what was needed to be done but never came around where i could see him or make eye contact with him. As nice as the staff was the set up for me is a big turn off and i will not be back unless i have to.

Excellent on dentistry & staff. Thank you for your employee in whom asked to take my temp instead of just assuming I'd be okay with it. It was very respectful & I appreciated that. I would have been happier had things been able to be a regular experience instead of all the sterile be-afraid-of-a-germ nonsense the government is imposing everyone do. It greatly detracts from the "excellent" experience. But that's not your fault, it's the government's fault & we need to stop putting up with it!

Once again, and for years now I was completely satisfied at Bishop Dental. I really appreciate how I do not feel rushed, have options in my dental care and dentist choices that is honored and respected by the staff. I have seen all three dentists, and all has taken extra time to answer questions I have. Independently each has answered questions about wisdom teeth to me which did not involve selling me services, because of this, I trust their integrity. The staff goes out of their way to ensure my comfort during cleaning.

The hygienist was awful...too rough(my mouth is still sore) she got water all over my face and shirt...water went down my armpit...the bib was soaked by the end...her hands were shaky and she dropped the tools and jabbed my mouth...and she broke a wire on my braces...I won't be back

I had been needing a good dentist for a few years, and my boys kept saying to come here. I kept thinking no, because one of the dentists there put my son in the hospital. But actually, it was sepsis that put him in the hospital. The dentist had warned him after a visit that he may need to go to the emergency room after hours, and to have the doctor to call him if he did have to go. He was in the hospital for 3 days. Don't wait to see a dentist with a bad tooth infection. Everyone who works in this dentist office is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about questions you have, and explain things so you understand what's going on. I'm very glad they picked Tooele county to open up shop!

I have been searching for help for 10 years. For over a decade i have been dealing with a tooth that caused me pain and inflammation. I seen so many dentists that all wanted to try another thousand dollar root canal, when i finally found dr.bishops office they said, "its your mouth, what do you want us to do?" I could have cried out of joy. I said i wanted the tooth pulled, they said ok, numbed me and removed the tooth. And now its gone. After iver a decade of searching dr. Bishops office has been the only one to actually listen, and take what i wanted into account. I cannot praise this office enough, the staff is incredibly friendly, they give great advice, the dr's are quick and efficient, THEY LISTEN and let you make your own decisions. I will be going to this office for a very,,,very long time. They have easily convinced me to become a long time client.

I hate the dentist. Like really hate going to to dentist. And I put it off long enough to have a large amount of cavities that need to be taken care of. But the staff has made me feel better about the whole thing. They recognized my stress and fear right off the bat and worked to help reassure me at every step, and they have done what no other office has done for me, which was specialize the treatment plan. Instead of signing me up for a day of misery where everything happens all at once, the option was presented to do it over a period of time, breaking it down into manageable chunks. That alone has helped me to be willing to go back and not have to be dragged there by my family.

Amazing!! I have pretty bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist that comes from being mistreated in the past AND just the irrational-ness that is anxiety 😝. This team made me feel comfortable and even went the extra step for me. I never felt like I was being talked down to or scolded which was exactly what I needed. The work they did was quality! I know I’ll continue to have anxiety towards the dentist BUT I know it will be completely irrational now since I know I’ll be treated kindly and with dignity haha. Def recommend this facility, Jackie in particular!

I have been going to Dr. Bishop's office for the last 8 years or so. He and his staff have been wonderful to work with. I used to experience slight anxiety at the dentist, but they have always made me feel so comfortable. I have had work done with little or no pain. I generally don't have too wait to long to be seen, but they will offer me a bottled water while I wait. The little things add up! I also have had the same hygienist since I first started going there, and she has been wonderful! They make you feel like part of the family!

My wife and I have always been impressed with Bishop Dental. When you arrive for your appointment, you are almost always seated with a few minutes. The dentists at Bishop Dental are personable and have always been honest about treatments that are necessary versus those that are elective or cosmetic. They treat those issues that need immediate resolution and advise you of other issues that need to be watched or are considered elective. They do not push you into addressing elective or cosmetic issues. They inform you of the total cost of the treatment and provide you with the estimated amount that will be covered by your insurance and what your estimated portion of the cost will be. The dentists and technicians do great work and keep you informed throughout the treatment.

I use to live in Grantsville and have since moved to Millcreek. To make a long story short, I have decided to go back to them as their customer service is second to none. The last time I was there, I stopped in without an appointment because I was working in Tooele County that day and I had a hour before my next appointment, and they worked me in within 30 minutes. Had a root canal about 4 years ago. Had to have something fixed on it a year later, now i either have to have another root canal on the same tooth and the one next to it due to an infection. Clearly the dentist must have done something incorrect as root canals are supposed to last decades, if not a lifetime. I ended up having the 2 teeth pulled because I could not afford 2 root canals - 1 I had already paid for.... After having the 2 teeth pulled, I went to fill my prescriptions for pain and while I was at the pharmacy, they informed me the dentist had cancelled the first prescription. The second dentist was aware that I had the previous prescription, but refilled it because of the amount of pain I was in from the abscess and the amount of pills I had to take to even function due to the pain. I used my prescription I had for a different condition because I was too sick/in pain to fill my prescription. No I am short on the pills I need for my other condition. I refuse to use this dentist again. Too many problems over and over again.

This was the easiest dentist experience we have ever had, they had my teenage daughters x-ray done and started her clean/polish effort I was able to get all the paperwork filled out. The Dr was so friendly, and so was the hygienist. It's always nice to have a pleasant dentist experience. And I love the speed and efficiency of the office.

The technician who cleaned my teeth needs to be TRAINED on how to floss a patient who has a permanent upper retainer. My upper retainer was loose on ONE TOOTH when I came in for my 6 month check-up. It had been loose for about one week, but was easily manageable. I reminded the technician TWICE that I had a permanent upper retainer but she flossed from the gum line straight down in-between the left teeth on the front where the retainer was still intact. This ripped the retainer from the only mooring it had left on the left side and was sticking out into my mouth. I couldn't believe it. Dr. Bishop in his wonderful way, counseled that older teeth become more brittle and things don't adhere was well. He was very accommodating in reattaching the retainer anchoring it all along the left front teeth. Whereas if the new technician (she admitted she was stressed with home issues and the failure of assigned dental staff to come to work that day causing her to do many things),--- would have flossed the correct method in the first place, Dr. Bishop would have only had to re-anchor one tooth. The technician should have flossed the upper gum area and then retracted the floss and inserted it in the lower tooth area. I've been to various dental offices from Salt Lake to Germany to New York and never has this happened before. I really am not complaining, I just think that she was not aware that flossing a patient with a permanent upper retainer requires a different procedure.
