I would highly recommend Dr. Murphy! I’ve been seeing her for a few years now. Primarily for my yearly checkup. My exam always feels thorough and any questions or concerns are always addressed. She has an amazing bedside manner and I’m always leaving feeling comfortable and with a smile. Wish she also practiced family health, I would love her as my PCP.

I really Like the doctors and nurses. This review is only for the pathetic Covid rules. I couldn’t even have my husband go to the infertility appointment that was for BOTH of us. We both have had Covid in the past 30 days so we can’t even possibly give Covid to anyone for another two months. To not allow my husband to be at the most important appointment is stupid and makes me honestly want to find a new obgyn that cares about their patients more than their fear of Covid.

Writing this review so that management re-think their Covid policy of not letting a visitor. I understand and even agree for safety of doctors and other patients including myself that you are strictly not allowing visitors other than patients. but my argument is that when your patient is not emotionally or physically in the state of communicating properly with doctors or nurses you should allow one additional visitor with proper arrangements in place like checking for fever and provide them gloves and protection gown and all other generally required ppe used in hospitals or clinic. Mostly i have seen lots of organizations doing these including showing vaccinations card. Whats the point of having vaccination card if it cannot be utilized properly. In this difficult time of covid i do support you all and your policies.

While the visit accomplished the 8 week visit need, it did leave some questions. I was advised to go off my adhd medication. When I mentioned I have a medication provider who said i should stay on it I was met with awkward silence and that I would need to get an additional scan to check for growth. After I asked again I was told that they do this if someone abuses the medication or hadn’t used it before. Neither is true. It was casually mentioned that because of my BMI I need to take aspirin to help with blood pressure. I have always had fantastic blood pressure. And find it disappointing that a modern medical practice uses outdated BMI knowledge to justify things especially without considering a persons overall health. I’m an active hiker and strength train.

Dr Albushis is so kind and gentle. She is very understanding and wants to give you the best medical care and advice possible. My PCP made an appointment for a PAP, I was not happy having driven 30 miles for just a consultation that could have been handled via a phone call or email. Now, I have to go back for 2 more visits.... Am I going to be reimbursed for the wasted time and gas?

I stress out going to these appointments! I really don’t know why! As soon as you walk in the door every staff member is very professional, listen to you about any concernes you have. ( medical or billing) Go above and beyond to help any way possible! They treat you like you are important and not just a number! The doctors are absolutely amazing! I really like Dr. Rounds and the staff here at Bedford Commons OB-GYN. Dr. Rounds was thorough in her explanation of what I needed to have done, from the first appt till my last 6 wk post-op appt. I am not a big fan of my lady business appointments, and skipped going for 20 years. Bedford Commons employees and the offic are so inviting that I have made allappointments I've needed over the last 2 years, and they've been numerous to address some health issues. I'm no longer filled with dread before my appointments, all thanks to the lovely ladies in Bedford. They've saved me from life threatening issues, which would have gone unchecked had I been with any other office. I haven't been thrilled with Bedford Commons. Since day 1 I have asked to see the same doctor for all my apts, and every apt I have had has resulted in someone different. If they couldn't accommodate this then I should have been informed when I called and asked before I even made a first apt. The doctors have been nice and the staff have been nice too but I will say the check out lady who is maybe around late 40s, is very rude. I have never had a good experience with her and feel she needs to be spoken to by a hire up. The last issue I had with her was simply scheduling my 8 week apt. She wanted to schedule me 9 weeks out instead of the 8 which I didnt understand why. She gave me a very hard time for wanting to schedule 8 weeks out and would never explain why this was an issue, especially when the doctor referenced the apt to be 8 weeks out... Its normally every 4 weeks but with covid its 8 and I really didnt feel comfortable pushing it further than that. She rolled her eyes at me, had extremely poor customer service, didnt have good communication and made me feel like everything I asked was the biggest hassle on the face of the earth.... Also, many of my apts prior in the past I have waited 30 plus minutes between my ultra sound and doctor apt... I wish someone could have told me it would've been so long of a wait... The other thing that really bothered me is I recently called to hopefully get a prescription of fluconazole due to a yeast infection I have. I get these frequently in the past and know 100% when I have one. They wanted me to come in and get a test done even with covid. I have been prescribed it in the past without a test. I then am informed that a 7 day cream treatment can be prescribed.Who wants that!They would not prescribe me the normal one dose fluconazole because it's harmful in the 2nd/3rd. even though the doctor who previously prescribed it to me said its safer in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. So now I feel like Im getting run around BS answers.

I first came to Bedford Commons in 2018 for a second opinion. It was the best decision I ever made. Christina Haag worked diligently with tests and medications to finally diagnose two medical issues. Since then she has continued to monitor me and change medications if and when needed. She is a great listener and always willing to answer my questions and concerns. Overall visit was okay. My issue was a known potential problem ahead of time was that my IUD was not in the correct place. However, instead of making me aware that US was not available on the day my appt was made, and would therefore need to go back an additional 2 visits, I was scheduled anyways. So, for something causing me pain, I now have to take 2 additional days from work and my kids and go back for a very simple US test. When I said to the front I could not do that, the front staff person was visibly annoyed. It really is not that simple to just take time from work on multiple occassions. I should have been informed a test I might need is not available, so either a different day or location would be better.

I’m so glad I decided to change practices after meeting Dr Murphy almost two years ago, she was so helpful when I was lost in the midst of infertility, and now still dealing with loss and infertility she was the first one in months to “get” where I am without me saying a word. My doctor was very nice and answered all of my questions, I do wish she did more to actually find out what my problems were though. She went right into the benefits of an IUD to ease my pain - I’m totally fine with that but I would’ve liked to know what exactly was going on with my body. The woman who scheduled my next appointment though, was very rude and rolled her eyes at my mother and I when we asked questions about scheduling appointments. I was not at all impressed with that.

I made an appointment with Dr Rounds. I was 34 weeks pregnant. When I started coming to you they said they would try to schedule me with all the various MDs with the idea that I would get to meet them (at least as many as I could) before delivering. This has not been my experience. After being called back and having my vitals taken I was informed that I would not be seeing Dr Rounds but the APRN Susan. She came in with pink hair and was very condescending. I had several questions I was planning to ask the doctor concerning the unstable lie of my previous pregnancies, and the approaching delivery of my baby. After asking a couple to Susan I didn’t bother asking anymore. She assumed I didn’t know anything and was explaining to me what a version was. I have had a version and had the baby flip again after. I need someone who will take my concerns seriously. But here it felt like I was being passed off at the last minute to people unfamiliar with my history and nonchalant about my concerns. After the visit I had my records transferred to Dartmouth-Hitchcock. I have had more attentive care with my previous pregnancies.

I'm always amazed at how efficient and friendly everyone is. My appointment was at 10:40 and I was done with the entire visit by 11:20. At other doctor's offices a 15 minute appointment has turned into a 2 hour event. This has never been the case at BCOG. There is very little waiting and despite the short time I was there I did not feel rushed at all. I felt like Dr. Murphy took the time to sit and talk with me and answered all of my questions.

My only complaint was upon entering the office. My appointment, as I understood it, was AT 7am. Typically a patient is asked to arrive early to check in and review insurance information. A staff memeber on a computer in the back corner of the office looked up (after I addressed her) and said, “We will be with you at 7” in not the nicest of tones. There was a snow storm that day. I think she woke up on the wrong side of bed. The rest of the appointment went fine. I will not plan on arriving early in the future.

I switched to Bedford Commons after a really bad experience at another OB-GYN in this area. It’s been a great experience my entire pregnancy, so far. The only thing I wish is that they had better hours. I have to always steal the last appointment of the day or else I would never be able to make it there since they open after I have to be at work and minutes before my work closes.

I love coming here. Most doctor visits are a chore, but the staff here is so wonderful and caring. This office handled the delivery of my first child, and I'm happy to stay with them for all future ob-gyn care. I see Linda Lassonde, APRN, for my regular gynecological check-ups. I love her so much. She is so thorough, patient, and gentle. I feel comfortable asking her anything, and I trust her implicitly. When you're pregnant, they have you meet with different providers for each check-up so that you get to know the rest of the staff as any one of them may be handling the delivery. I have loved everyone I've met with.

I have been looking for the right doctor for some time now. Everytime I would get comfortable at my primary care they doctor would leave. I like that Bedford Commons has multiple doctors that I can see if I need to. I loved Megan Leonard she gave me options and ultimately told me it's my body and it's all up to me. My Elliot labs were delayed in finding the results and getting the results only eventually because I called. I was told I would get a call with the results. As first time expectant parents we’re clueless about everything but we have received proper guidance at every step. The staff is always friendly and I never wait more than a few minutes. I would never go any where else!

Your nurse, Kaitlyn, is so kind and genuine every time I visit! She even remembers to only use my left arm for vitals. I appreciate everyone in the office making me feel comfortable and welcome. My doctor is very thorough and I appreciate her knowledge of CRPS/RSD.

Dr. Rounds is wonderful and I like having a provider who is in my age bracket. She is thorough and interested in the whole person. Concerns are addressed in a very positive manner. The office is easily accessible and calls are returned in a timely manner.I’m very happy with the practice.
