I was about to do all my teeth and refer my wife which needs 6 implants! The administrative cane to give me estimate of the first step which is CT scan she said$350 . She did not know that I already got quote from another dental office which was $100 !!!!! When I told her that she said OK we will do it for you $100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I left and decided not to be on Main Street at all. Bad experience it is called: gerrymandering.

The hygienist who does the cleanings is so very personable and knowledgeable that it is always good to go for my appointments. When I had a problem, she identified it, suggested and gave me a resolution that ended up fixing it before the situation became worse. The office staff is always so very friendly and helpful, so much so that we have referred and taken additional people here for their needs.

Waited a long time to be seated over an hour (45 minutes past my scheduled appointment). The front desk did not do a good job communicating the wait period with me. Once I was in for the whitening, they did do a very good job of explaining things and packing my gums for protection. So, mixed review both bad and good.

Your dental assistants need to be trained better when it comes to hygeine. When a temporary falls on the ground with your patient in the room, it needs to be changed to a new one or at least washed well

The staff is ALWAYS great! the ONLY frustrating thing... is that we traditionally have to reschedule our appointments one or TWO times before we get to see the doctor? Not ideal with a full time job, after school events, and house to run... as WE ALL have to deal with. I LOVE having the early morning office hours on Saturdays!! I have learned that IF I don't make an early morning appointment, we traditionally have to wait past our appointments time.

"Were your financial options explained to you" - so important. I had no idea how well I have it with Beachside Dental until I heard horror stories from my co-workers in our annual company health insurance options meeting. When I ask questions regarding pricing at Beachside Dental I always get a clear answer, big expenses are verified in front of me with my health insurance, so everything is clear and upfront.

Both Dr. Aljanedi and his hygienist were great. I wish I could remember the hygienist's name, but I just adore her! She was so funny and sweet. I honestly had a very pleasant dentist visit overall and that includes all work done etc. I doubt many people can say they had fun going to the dentist, but I did. (And I got to miss work some work for my appointment so that's a bonus too :)

I was very happy with Dr. Ron and his wonderful assistant which is saying a great deal because I have always been utterly terrified of going to the dentist! However, Dr. Ron and his assistant really made me feel at ease and less nervous. They both treated me with respect and dignity and to their credit they did not make me feel ashamed about all the work that I need to have done. Also, Dr. Ron did not rush through the visit and he took the time to really evaluate my needs. Due to my fear of dentistry, I have delayed any treatment to my mouth for years so I really have a lot of work to get done. However, I felt that Dr. Ron understood this and that he will respectfully allow me to take baby steps so that I can get my mouth healthy again.

I have been a patient at your office for over 5 years. When I started I explained about all of the implants that I have so they would be cleaned properly. This year it happened that a new dr was added to your office who knows about implants. He had to order a new tool that your office did not have to specifically clean implants with - it is plastic not metal. All of your doctors should be made aware of this so as to not harm the patient's implants. I was lucky in that my husband went a few days before me and the dr would not clean his implants until he had the proper tool. Good for Dr. Teran.

Dr. Miele is the best dentist I've ever had because he did not rush me, he was at peace with himself when he entered the room, looked me in the eye, smiled and explained carefully everything he was going to do. Sure, it was a simple xray and cleaning but I appreciated his explanations since I am a new client. In addition, he is very gentle. I was referred to him by my daughter Stacey O'Brien and good friend Jon Ransom. They were right. He is a fine dentist.

Dr Sameer, I felt comfortable with you and was going to go forward. However, I was not comfortable with your finance person. When I tried to understand the different types of crowns, I asked if there was any way to know what type I had in the rest of my mouth, she said no way to know. Then after I chose one she came back and said doctor wants to know why I choose that when the other crowns were zirconia porcelain. Shows she was not honest with me. Then to find the charge was 200 more than other dentist. She said she would knock off 100. Why would I pay 100 more. The. I asked for a copy of my x-ray , she said she may have to charge me, she had to check my insurance, said they belonged to the office not me. To add to insult, she left me standing there with no good bye or sorry for anything. Very uncomfortable and very unprofessional. It was not a good experience for me and felt I wasted a day and got nowhere. Sorry but you asked. I mean this as constructive criticism and hope it will help with any future new patient.

The X-ray/dental assistant was very nice and thorough. However, the dental hygienist I was scheduled with did not serve the same courtesy. Even though Groupon members may not pay the regular full service amount, it does not mean that the service should be insufficient. This had to be the worst dental experience I have been through. The cleaning was less than five minutes, which I do no believe is sufficient in any case. My previous dentist in Newport Beach had retired and I was hoping I would establish a new dentist at your facility but after the lack of thoroughness and confidence in the outdated medical equipment, I have never been so glad to be out of there. My suggestion would to be to retrain some of the staff in dental hygiene cleaning proficiency and possibly invest in better and up-to-date equipment that the office requires. Personal televisions for the rooms are not considered as new technology. I would NOT recommend anyone to go here until they make the proper revisions. The star I gave was for the X-ray tech/dental assistant who was the gem amongst the ruins. She was the only one that made me feel comfortable especially because she recognized that I was not.

Was given a "discount" off the hugely increased price, will still pay quite a bit more than last year for each. I don't feel comfortable with the charges- I feel as though I must always question and push to get "correct" pricing. Very happy with Dr Mieli and his assistant.

I was not greeted upon arrival. I watched another patient leave and not return. After 40 minutes I approached the desk and said I was leaving after not being spoken to. Then action began. A 10:30 appt. got me out at 12:30. This was after I drove from Anaheim Hills to HB on Fri to be told the dr. didn't want to see a new patient at 3:30 on a Fri and I had to reschedule for Mon. As a parent I want to be informed of by daughters dental health. I am only bringing my daughter to Beachside Dental because it is covered by our DMO insurance. At our prefered pediatric dental office they are pleasant; greet you when you enter the door and can immediatly advise you what the cost is for the visit. The dentist always shows me my child's exrays and discusses areas of concern. Your office staff is disorganized, less than friendly and not knowledgable about the insurance-patient obligations. I would never refer anyone to your office.

I came in with a coupon and was very specific to the front desk, the assistant, and the doctor that I only wanted what was covered in the coupon; not a deep cleaning. The doctor seemed irritated by this, and I can't believe that one of the receptionists actually made me sign something stating that I would not receive the deep cleaning even though the doctor ordered it, as if the office were doing me a favor by honoring the coupon and not forcing me to receive a deep cleaning. I don't see why you couldn't simply oblige my simple, clear request without trouble. By the way, I did not initial the section on the new patient's sheet that allows the doctor to change what procedures I would be receiving without notice. Kinda bullshit. For this reason, I will not be coming back.

I had all procedures performed that were suggested. When I got home in the evening, I discovered one of the teeth on the bottom still had a dark area of stain. Every other time it has been removed during the normal cleaning process. I opted for the new process this time and am quit disappointed.

If I had been informed prior or directly after being given the shots that one of the side effects possible for the local anesthesia was severe trembling. I have concern for patients that have phobias of dental work or shots or suffer from anxiety or panic attacks. I have family members who could have suffered a attack due to the side effect if there was NO pre warning.Everyone was nice, front staff and the tech that did my xrays and molds however he did not know why I was shaking. The dentist was informative as well as nice when i told her I was trembling severely she then explaned.The pymnt plan option is a very good service. I realized aftrwrds that I have questions. How many shots of locals was I given, and could the violent trembling side effect and the HOURS of numb mouth and jaw be reduced if I am given fewer shots over more time? As well what exactly is the medication that I will be prescribed to go in the trays that were molded for gum health? What are the trays called?

He was right, and I saved my money! I would really appreciate a more affordable price for nitrous. I am a VERY nervous patient, and that's the only thing that helps. If I could afford it, I would get it during teeth cleaning!

As an improvement, perhaps providing more details as to why certain procedures were requested to be done. For example I was told that my wisdon teeth were going to be removed. Why? I had to ask why. If I hadn't I would have just walked out of there not knowing. Also ask the patient if they had any previous experiences with the procedures that are requested to be performed, in case the asnwer is "no" then the dentist would explain how it works. This would alleviate some tension with the patient and provide some peace of mind when all this dental terminology is thrown out. Especially for first time patients like me.

When I make an appt to see a dentist, I do not expect to wait an hour to actually be seen. Yeah i was taken to get an x-ray thirty minutes after my scheduled time, but I still had to wait another 40 mins to get cleane, and I had to find someone to help me. Something needs to be done in order for the timing of appointments stay on track. I have been coming here for years and it has never changed. My family has always waited at least 15-30 minutes to get taken in. Even at 9 am appointments, it is backed up already.

It was obvious she did this because I refused her upgrades. Extremely rude and poor services. I would never recommend this dentist to a friend knowing she would give a subpar cleaning because I didn't spend more money. Waste of time and she should be talked to because I will not only not recommend but I will be certain to write bad reviews. Hygienist was nice. The money making greedy dentist was a bitch. Sad that the profession has come to this. What happened to standard basic six month cleanings. I'll stick to the ungreedy dentists.

Just posted my review on YELP... WARNING: STAY AWAY!!!!!! DISGUSTING STAFF!!! These people are scammers and crooks just like the other reviews said!!! I went in for a general cleaning and after making me wait for 50 minutes (my appointment was at 10 AM they called me in at 10:50 AFTER i complained that I was the last person in the waiting room even though people came in after me! Then they refused to give me a cleaning without XRAYS which I've had done a little over a year ago (and had emailed over). The doctor I had raised her voice at me, practically yelling, that I HAD to get XRAYS since I was a new patient. I even told them over the phone I did not want Xrays and they still wasted my time, had me come in, wait 50 minutes, then be treated so horrifically by this doctor, who "explained" in her broken english and condescending, horribly RUDE tone that I could not get a GENERAL CLEANING without Xrays. I left after letting her and the manager know how I felt about this place. They make their own "RULES" which don't even have to do with the American Dental Association!! I'm sure if I let them take the XRAYS I would've been told what the ladies said in the other reviews - that I needed hundreds or thousands in 'dental work'. They are rude, unhelpful, false advertising frauds!!! These place is really disgusting!!!Your place went from 4 to 3 stars just from my posting! :) Also, the other lady you treated horribly that posted a bad review similar to mine, had TWENTY FIVE PEOPLE say her review was HELPFUL! So if you think you won't lose business because of it, think again! 25 people obviously checked you out, saw her review and found it useful and didn't go to you!!! My family came from a very professional dentist office. After a few visits my family feels like you are looking for every opportunity to make more money. My eldest son went in for a cleaning and other additional services were performed and charged. He has no idea what happened but then he doesn't pay the bill. That is a decision for the parents who do. When I went, the dentist told me AJ had a small cavity. No problem until the billing lady tells me there are special circumstances and cost to fix it. Wasnt it a minor cavity? Isn't this the job of the dentist to explain? Just my thoughts

I did not like the dental cleaning experience as both the dentist and assistant seemed to be unfamiliar with the cleaning machine and at one point shot very hot water into my mouth. Probably won't go back if this is what happens when you go for a simple cleaning.

Worst dental experience of my life. Waited an hour in the waiting room listening to a soap opera. Soap operas are not suitable for a family dental office. The form relieving the dentist of malpractice sends the message that the dentist is not competent therefore this form is necessary to protect the office. At that point I already knew I would not have any further dental work done at the office. I hope this feedback promotes a change in the way you do business.
