This is the second time i have had a botox treatment. This time around it was quiet painful and I am left with bruising on the side of each eye. I am surprised at the bruises, I thought maybe they would leave a little mark but it is more than that. Not sure why this time hurt so much and bruised, it was not as gentle as the previous treatment. I do have my period so that could add to the pain and being senstive to pain but the bruising is definitely a surprise.

I was processed in a professional timely manner, by some what appears to be a very proficient group of people. The area of concerns were address, handled and completed. I was made aware of how the process would go, what i could or could not expect, then given the steps to ensure that it stayed on tract. A week later and it all seems to be what it was to be.

It was my son's first time to see a dermatologist in his 21 years of existence. Dr. Shah is great in every way a doctor should when meeting and talking to patients especially first timers. Caithlyn is absolutely awesome helping my son with the treatment. She is gentle and knowledgeable. She made my son feel at eased. I have already booked for my son to see Caithlyn again for a follow up treatment.

I was not happy with the visit - I did not receive all the initial imaging because computer froze. I was told that I would get it near the end of the appointment but did not> I felt like I was not heard or given enough information and spent more time sitting alone in the room.

I am happy with the BC Laser and Skin Care clinic. I am always greeted politely by the reception and I do not wait long before being called into my appointment. Jas and Marta are always friendly and treat me as a friend. They always make me feel comfortable during my treatments. Dr Shah is kind and communicates clearly on solutions for my skin care needs. I am happy with my skin care results so far, the results have been amazing. I look forward to continuing the treatments and would not trust to go anywhere else for my skincare needs.

I was not happy with my visit. I researched laser wart removal and chose this clinic specifically because the website said you use the pulse dye laser. Once the treatment was over, I was shown a chunk of my foot that was taken out which was very surprising. I wasn't aware that there was such a thing as a cutting laser so it would have been nice if Dr. Shah had discussed the laser options before cutting into my foot. I'm currently on maternity leave (which I had mentioned to Dr. Shah) so it has been challenging caring for my baby with my foot in this state. Overall I was very upset with this experience and will not be recommending your clinic to anyone.

The woman at reception is not exactly welcoming. She would not be my choice as a business owner as someone I could count on to make a good first impression. I waited 2-3min for her to acknowledge me when I walked in. She preferred instead to continue speaking with another employee. No apology, nothing.

Marta completed my microdermabrasion treatment and gave me a fire and ice peel. She took her time to explain what she was doing and wrote me up a skin care regimen. I thought the service I received was great. I came home with some products too and am hoping to see results soon.

I felt my experience was rushed and Dr. Sharma did not take the extra time to make sure the work he did on my lips was symmetrical. I have ended up with a very large, black hematoma extending from the skin under my lower lip up to and including the lip and extending to the inside of my lower lip. The inside of my lower lip is also so swollen that I am biting down on it with my upper central incisors. I hope this is in fact to swelling, and not so much product that I will be biting down on my oral tissues for the next 6 to 12 months

Maybe just a receipt at the end explaining the breakdown of what I spent and what is left in my account. Pre paid beauty club. It was forgotten that I had a birthday discount or coupon, and was overcharged. A receipt showing everything would have been helpful. The visit went very well and i felt that my needs/concerns were fully addressed. I was very happy with the care provided. Its only been a few days since starting my new skin care ragime and im already noticing some positive changes in my skin. Im the instant gratification kind of person, so this is very satisfying. Doctor said that the improvement could be 30-50%. I have ice pick scars and it is a correct observation but with TCA Cross the results can be better. This is what I have known by googling around.

I came to inquire regarding wart removal and i was advised that my skin concern is actually a skin tag. Jas explained that if I want to proceed with the removal I have to give my schedule which is quite difficult as of now. I was also advised that i could apply the $50 charge to any products I wish to purchase from your clinic. Kindly advise your available products for wrinkle and dark spots. Thanks.

I was told not to buy a package of laser tattoo removals because you would most likely be able to get my tattoo off within less sessions. So instead I went session by session. And now I am WELL over the number of sessions you said, and from the looks of it - it will take a lot more. I've always wished I had bought the package to receive the discount. It would have been nice if someone had noticed that and maybe offered me a re-disbursement or some kind of compensation for steering me away from it when really I should have bought it. As tattoo removal is not cheap...lol

I was extremely impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was not "Pressured" into trying to do more than what I had planned on doing or coerced into anything I was not comfortable with. The visit was efficient and effective. Considering I showed up without an appointment, I had to wait only a few minutes to see Dr.Shah. When I saw the doctor, I explained my situation, I was examined and we discussed the procedure, the recovery and the cost. Then I set up an appointment for the procedure for the following week. All very quick and efficient. Since I had a similar procedure done by Dr.Shah last year, I already know that the results will be excellent.

Waiting area is very intimidating. The receptionist seem unfriendly. over all environment feels more like a beauty shop than a skin care clinic except for the consultation room. However, Dr. Shah and Sera were genuinely caring and very knowledgeable. The recommended skincare products were brand names and very pricey. I'd recommend going through the particular laser treatment if you desire immediate results.

More push towards products, seems more money/sales based than patient care. Would be nicer if Dr. Shah actually spent more time with patients than having his technicians do the dealing especially if your spending so much money. Can't say the whole experience was negative, Sera(technician) was kind and listened to concerns and made you feel comfortable. Recpetionist could be more welcoming.

When I was going through the consultation I didn't feel encourage to ask questions with the doctor because he seemed rushed and in genuine. I would have been interested in other services but I didn't bother asking. I'm happy that the procedure was efficient but I would look else where before returning.

I left a message for Sera to contact me as I forgot a couple of questions to ask Dr. Shah but haven't heard from her as of this email. Sera did make notes on my questions. My questions are: Is it okay to use plain Vaseline on my lips? Should I be using a specific lipstick, lipbalm with a SPF? If yes, what brand recommended that I can purchase locally? I use lipstick & have one or two uses & I have to dispose of the lipstick because I start to break out in either a fever blister or cold sore(s). What should I be using? Would licking my lips also cause irritation to the pigment color change on my lip where the sun damage is? If yes, any suggestions.

I would have appreciated knowing a base/starting price for tattoo removal. Had I known approximately how much each session would amount to, even the bare minimum, I would not have scheduled a consultation, and consequently paid $50 for said appointment. I think it would be more fair to potential clients to discuss cost over the phone, as some people (myself included) aren't able to pursue treatment and could avoid wasting both their time and money coming to an appointment. Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience with BC Laser and Skincare.

It was a good visit the Dr, seemed interested and knowledgable. Prices seemed on the high end, $ 500.00 more per syringe for similiar product then the last Dr. I was at. Although i was offered 20% off which brings down price somewhat. I have not had anything done yet but have made appointment.

Friendly staff and atmosphere. The clinic is very inviting. I was assisted right away the minute I got in for my appointment. Marta who assisted me was very friendly and informative and clear. It was a nice experience, the customer service was great, and the treatment itself wasn't painful at all. The technician that did my treatment (Marta) did a wonderful job. It was the best experience I've had so far from a laser clinic. The price I paid for the treatment was kind of expensive but I would still recommend to family/friends.

My experience with BC laser has been good. Dr Shah gives of his time and expertise to explain the products he uses to the best of his knowledge. However, Sculptra for me was a wild card. It could not have been predicted in advance that damaging lumps would develop and has made me wary of proceeding with fillers or indeed any other treatment. BC laser are making every every effort to try and resolve this for which I am grateful. CO2 made a huge difference to the texture of my skin and reduction in acne scarring.

I was shocked to see how cold and unfriendly the assistant and doctor were. The doctor was short and made no effort to make me feel comfortable. Considering the cost of Botox, you would think that repeat clientele would be important to him. The atmosphere in the business was unwelcoming. The results from my treatment are no where close to what I experienced in the past from a different doctor for the same amount of units. The whole experience was very unpleasant and I will not be back.

It was a very pleasant experience, the staff were most helpful, courteous, and they made you feel welcome . Dr.Shah was straight forward and very honest with what's best for me and I definitely recommend my friends and family to see him.

I was advised that $50 charged for my visit on Friday would be put towards any future treatment or products. I don't think my product purchase included any discount, but i'll check. More importantly, I remember Dr. Shah quoting me significantly less in 2012 to undergo laser therapy for my skin. Has the rate increased that dramatically in less than two years? I am a long-term acne and rosacea sufferer. Approved treatments for these chronic diseases should in some way be covered under my health plan. I can see how some laser procedures could be considered "cosmetic". I can attest, though, my desire in seeking treatment is to treat these chronic conditions, and rehabilitate my skin's appearance in doing so. I would appreciate discussing this and other concerns further with Dr. Shah.

My visit was positive as it generally is. However, when I asked about the compression stockings I found the girl to be a bit pushy about having an appointment to have my spider veins looked at. This bit of pushing is not something I normally encounter at BC Laser & Skin Care so I was a bit surprised.

Possibly be more sensitive to the nature of the client. Offering me, (a mature woman with a woman's body rather than that of a young woman), the tiny little shorts upset me and made me feel most uncomfortable. My experience was quite different than what I was expecting.

I would suggest that you ask a potential client for their budget before presenting them with a ludicrous estimate. I come in for some preventative options and get a 11k estimate? I have been to many places in Vancouver and have never been given such a silly estimate. The Dr and technician were nice, but an estimate like that was a massive turn off.

A suggestion would be to offer coffee, tea, or water to clients as this makes visit seem more informal and clients usually like this. I was led into a treatment room which was dimly lit and asked to lay on the bed. Kim explained the steps for a MICRODERM TREATMENT. I felt very relaxed and comfortable and in good hands. We chatted during the procedure about different things. I felt very relaxed and not intimidated. I asked questions and they were answered in a timely and knowledgeable manner. I don't think there could be anymore improvements as everything is A-OKAY in my books . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I was also surprised to find out I had discounts that were applied to my service and product. A giant right on!!

I was excited about getting the Hydrafacial done, as I have heard good things about it. When the estheticians started with the hydrafacial machine, the machine broke. Apparently the serum’s were not coming out properly. It was at NO fault of the estheticians, she was GREAT trying to fix the machine. I ended up getting the microdermabrasion done and booked the hydrafacial for couple weeks later. I would have appreciated the microdermabrasion maybe at a discounted rate, because it was not something I came in for and I will be getting the hydrafacial in few weeks’ time. I also left work early that day and didn’t want to leave without getting something done. Just feel like I paid for 2 procedures in a short amount of time. That’s all :)

Dr Shah is extremely knowledgeable and always has the best equipment available with many options to choose from. The staff are friendly, professional and always put you at ease. There are cheaper alternatives out there but in this case you get what you pay for so if you're going to invest in treatments and products you might as well pay for the best and get the results you want instead of throwing your money away for cheaper alternatitives and getting mediocre results. BCL stands for quality customer service and top notch results. I have and will continue to send my friends and family to BCL!

The one downside is that the prices are higher than what is being offered at so many other laser places. Having said that, I've visited other places that are cheaper and they're far less professional and the effectiveness of treatments aren't consistent from one technician to the next. I appreciate the patience, professionalism and knowledge of the technicians. The extra things at BC laser set them apart from other places, like: cleansing the skin, marking the skin, and then icing afterwards. I would definitely recommend BC laser to friends and family, I just don't know if they would be able to afford the prices when there are cheaper, albeit not as good, options.

Everything was quite good however I felt when the serum was being explained by the doctor he should include the price. No one likes asking the price of things but the majority of us want and need to know. I was actually pleased to hear the price of my skin treatment but again it was never mentioned by the doctor. I didn't find it unreasonable.

Tara was excellent as usual during my treatment and after. During my treatment I had an immediate reaction on my thighs (pictures have been sent via email) One of my thighs froze in one spot after applying the ice packs and a smaller site on my right thigh froze as well. +++ Redness and swelling. This morning 11Jul redness was somewhat less but appears to be possibly? blistering?

Next time, I would like to be informed about the cost of my treatment. I had to ask how much the treatment was upon conclusion of my consultation, and I think it would be best if this information was volunteered. Other than that, I was happy with the results of my treatment, the professionalism of the staff, and the level of service I was given.

I did notice on my $50.00 consultation receipt that it said this cannot be used against treatment or product after 30 days. I did want to go through treatment after summer as my treatment requires no sun exposure. I was not informed of this during my visit and the receptionist did indicate I could still use the credit after treatment in fall. If this could be confirmed that would be appreciated. What I found extra exceptional was that the staff declined a gratuity! It was done so in a very professional manner and this is not seen too often in the industry. They gals explained that there are other incentives built in to their employment and that they are well taken care of as employees of BC Laser. All of the staff I came in contact with were extremely professional and had an answer for every question addressed. I can't wait to share!

- phone wait time is horrible (currently on hold and have been waiting 15 minutes. Called back and my call went to voice mail - tuesday 10:30 a.m.) - forms for botox (may I suggest having client fill out once a year - form would contain verbiage stating that this form covers a 1 year period and if any major health changes please advise prior to your next treatment) - promptness of appt (wait times appear to lag) - had two botox treatments with unfortunate results (crocked smile on one occassion & my latest result is droopy eye and eyebrow).

I was concerned about my treatment and was asked to come back in. I drove an hour to come in and nothing was looked at and I was in the office for less then 10 minutes to be told the only thing that could be done for me was to do more treatments for more money. I explained that I was told with the 6 treatments I was already given I would be fine and might need touch ups once every couple years but that wasn't the story this time!! Spent 2 hours driving to and from to be there for 10 minutes to be told spend more money. After 6 treatments and being told before I started that would be enough I wasn't about to spend hundreds more.

About my visit: I didn't catch the name of the young lady behind the front counter but she was very nice and welcoming and took the time to explain all of the paperwork I needed to complete. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into such a nice 'spa' like office and noticed the little touches that have been taken (calming interior, warm rooms, etc). I also appreciated filling out forms online, the confirmation phone call and the follow-up email/calls. This is a 'thoughtful' clinic that I would recommend to all of my friends and family interested in various treatments. Things I would change: I would look into the drip in the ceiling in the treatment room Brandi and I was in. Everything else was great! New Services: I didn't see any pamphlets on teeth whitening. I'm not sure if this falls within your scope but it's something of interest to me. Thanks again! Thank you so much for offering groupons to your clinic!

I was a little unempressed with asking to intial all these forms without actually having any of it explained to me. It would seem that if your asking for consent for treatment and understanding , signing the consent and explanations should be done ater all of these things have been discussed with me, not before. I felt uncomfortable when I left the clinic to have signed and intialed on all those forms without actually having everything explained to me.

I original came for laser hair removal. While at that appointment I spoke about wanting some moles removed. I was so surprised that the doctor was able to come in and provide me with a very inpromptu consult. As a result I had the moles removed and purchased some skin care products. I have since had a good look at the website and learned that the Dr. does therapeutic bottom injections. I currently get injections every three months at VGH. I called the medical side for more information and was disappointed with the level of professionalism and what seemed like a lack of information. I will pursue the possibility of having the injections done at your office further during my follow-up appointment. Even with the minor glitch I have been very impressed!
