I was extremely pleased with my entire experience — from the moment I called to schedule my initial appointment, meeting with Jennifer, the optician, that allowed me to sit down with her and try-on various frames prior to my actual appointment, rescheduling my eye exam a second time, and finally meeting Dr. La for my eye exam last Friday morning — everyone was a GREAT pleasure and privilege to work with as I selected my NEW eyeglasses. Folks, don’t concern yourselves with considering other optometrists OR the tv ads that reference two pairs of glasses including your eye exam for $50 — Baker Family Eyecare is the one you need to visit. FORGET THE REST AND VISIT THE BEST!!! 🙏🏻👍🏻

The front staff are super friendly (always have been) however this past instance was frustrating. I was told by the doctor that my kid would need plus 1 readers (no script was given after the appointment) and no referral was given to the glasses person. It took me 3 calls and 1 week later to get a script following my appointment. Perhaps this was a fluke but it was a tad concerning.

Many times an optometrist can rush you through the lenses asking, "Which one is better? etc." Not here. Highly recommend the Baker family.

My husband and I drive from Haltom City to get our eyes checked at this office. The Doctors and staff are always so kind, professional, and experienced! I have Trichotillomania which means I pull my hair and eyelashes. Never have been made to feel uncomfortable or ashamed of it. I also have some anxiety issues, and Tina is always patient and kind with helping me set up appointments via text or email, which can be a pain in the butt I'm sure with all the back and forth due to my work schedule. They also offer a comprehensive eye health exam, and communicate the results with my primary care doctor as I am type 2 diabetic. I have yet to leave this office with any questions unanswered, and they always explain things in layman's terms. Thank you so much! I definitely recommend this office!

This was my first visit for a full eye exam, and I ended up needing some glasses. I was in and out in less than an hour, including choosing glasses and getting them ordered. The staff up front were so nice, and I enjoyed meeting Dr. La and having her make a diagnosis for me. They helped me choose a pair of glasses that I felt comfortable in, and they had them ready a week later. I would highly recommend Baker Family Eyecare to my friends and family!

This was my first visit and I couldn’t be happier! The staff were great from the front desk to the exam room. I had the opportunity to meet Dr. La and had the most thorough eye exam I’ve had in years. Dr. La also took the time to explain and discuss things with me which helped me to feel more comfortable and confident in the high level of care that was provided. I’m typically hesitant about about change but this is one I certainly don’t regret!

The only place I will EVER go for any eye check up exam and eye ware needs for my kids and myself!!! The entire staff is friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you're not only taken care of but that you are satisfied with your purchase. They took time to explain about contact lenses and how to use it to my son and suggested what contact lenses would be best for him. On top of all of that, their turnaround is outstanding and the best customer service I've ever experienced. Dr. Tania La always made a point of explaining what she was doing, and why. Even my son's questions were met with thorough and clear answers. Staff: Her staff is always bright and friendly. They're easy to work with to coordinate appointment times, contact lens/glasses orders, insurance, and payments. A lot of medical offices feel kind of stiff an impersonal, especially when it comes to handling payments and insurance, but the folks here really put in extra effort to help you out and explain things clearly. In short, these folks know what they're doing, and will make the process of attaining eagle-like vision a simple, straightforward affair.

I have been going to Baker Family Eyecare for a few years now and I love them! The staff is amazing and Dr. La is a true gem. My whole family now goes there and so do my co-workers. The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help. Dr. La noticed my son had something going on with his eyes during a regular exam and she took the time to explain it to me and always reassure me. We had to have several visits to follow the progress and when the time came for him to see a specialist she was on the ball. It is terrifying to think something is seriously wrong with your child, but Dr. La was great at answering my questions, and putting my mind (and heart) at ease.

The office is very clean and well-organized. The staff is super duper courteous and friendly from the front desk all the way to the doctor. The exams are very thorough and the doctor asks several questions to make sure you get the best fit and service possible. The billing and insurance is explained in detail so there are no surprises and you know exactly how much you're paying and why. I cannot recommend Baker Family Eyecare highly enough.

My time is just as valuable as that of the doctor. Be on time or tell the waiting patients when he/she can expect to see the doctor.

Great exam process, issues with ordering glasses — David R.

The entire eye exam process was fantastic (front desk staff, tech and doc), however, not pleased with the process to get my glasses. During the fitting, I advised my current glasses were broken (glued together) and needed them as soon as possible. I was told it would be 7-10 days - I figured I can manage a week or so since the glue was holding. On day 7, I called for status and was told there was an issue with the order and that they would need the full 10 days (I figured this is something I should've been notified about, but never was). On Thursday, I called again as it was now 11 business days - they said the lab was taking longer than usual, but my glasses would be delivered on Friday around lunchtime and that they would call me as soon as they were delivered. On Friday after 3 pm, I called since I hadn't heard anything and I was advised my glasses were in and waiting for pick-up. While I am not pleased with the customer service in regards to wait time and communications, the prescription was done correctly the first time around, which hasn't been the case with the last two providers I used. If the staff would've kept me updated on what was going on along the way, it would've been a much better process as it's always frustrating to have to initiate requests for information when that should be the responsibility of the service provider.

I just moved to this area and I was looking for an office that cares about the customer vs. their bottom line. This office does that. They have a very friendly staff and a very good DR. They are not a high pressure sales after the exam, which I like. They actually gave me my prescription if I wanted to purchase elsewhere without me asking! If there is any downside, they selection of frames is somewhat limited but you should be able to find something that would work.

Hello, The staff is very friendly and I really like the doctor. However, this was my second visit to have a dilation since I couldn't do it the first time. I was a little dismayed at how long the appointment took. I was extremely surprised that I was charge another $55 copay for this appointment. If I had know that I would not have come back for the dilation.

Staff is very professional and friendly at the same time. I was seen in a timely manner and treated with the upmost respect. The doctor explained everything she was doing as we went. When all the tests were done, we looked at the pictures together and she explained what the pictures showed. I really had a great experience with all the staff and I appreciate that.

As a family, we are totally happy with our new eye care clinic. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help.
