Provided with both a professional and personal experience. Only concern ever, was on a Sep 5 visit. On this visit I was informed after seeing physician that my referral had expired and the balance was on me. I'm aware that it is my responsibility but Being a routine procedure, had I been made aware, I would have rescheduled appointment until Tricare insurance referral was resolved. Obw that issue is now resolved. Thanks

I had a great experience last year with Dr. Ferrel-he was very thorough and answered my questions. This year they booked me with a new doctor-I don’t know her name she just rushed in and never introduced herself-I was in there a few minutes-told me no changes. I was going to ask some questions regarding some minor issues with vision -but she rushed back out. Very disappointing. I am all about not wasting time but I did not feel like she even cared-you can tell it is just a job for her.

I was fitted for contacts and the fitting price was not explained to me prior to fitting. Since I was only receiving trial contacts to see if they work for me, I certainly was not prepared to pay this cost. If I would have known there was a cost associated, I would have declined the fitting and moved forward with glasses. I am extremely upset about this cost. This is lost money that could have been used for what I needed most, reading glasses.

Doctor was incredibly dismissive and didn’t explain to me that I had an astigmatism. I didn’t learn about that until picking out glasses (from the poor selection). I filled out my paperwork properly the past two visits and they still manage to misspell my name on every document. Staff had a scheduling error that was apparently caused by a faulty text messaging system, but later asked me to make an appointment with said faulty service… leading me to believe they lied to me. This lead me to miss two entire mornings of work due to their poor management. They didn’t give me any Ishiharas or colorblind tests even though I mentioned the decline of my ability to perceive and categorize color. I would rather drive to the other side of town to get an exam, and you should to.

Dr. Ferrell is a real joy as a doctor. Thorough and caring - I can't imagine seeing anyone else. This last visit seemed like the office staff was struggling. Patients leaving after waiting too long for appointments. I wanted to buy glasses but was unable to do so since there was such a backlog. Never got the promised follow up call either. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident.

I struggled for at least four years with what I thought was an eye condition I’d have to live with the rest of my life having gone to two other eye doctors over the years seeking help. They were not able to help me, and one ophthalmologist even incorrectly diagnosed my condition as allergies. After basically resolving to live with this condition, I was discussing my frustration with a coworker one day and he recommended me to Bailey eye care; specifically to Dr Chenault. I was reluctant, but I decided to give it one last try at figuring out what was going on with my eyes as the condition was quite uncomfortable and even painful some days. After first meeting with Dr. Chenault, I explained to her my situation and my experiences with other eye doctors as well as my condition. She spent what I would consider to be a significant amount of time with me figuring out what was going on with my right eye. I could immediately tell that she genuinely wanted to figure out what was wrong with my eye. After an extremely tenacious and thorough examination, she told me exactly what was wrong with my eye, exactly how to fix it, and even how long it would take to get better. Needless to say I was shocked, overjoyed and maybe even a little skeptical at the same time. For the next few weeks I followed her instructions to the letter, and what do you know…… my right eye that felt like it had splinters jabbing it it 24/7 is now 100% healed and I have zero trouble out of it. I am now pain free and haven’t had a single bit of trouble with my eye ever since. Needless to say, I won’t trust my eyes to any other place.

I was surprised at just how much everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs - on the workday after Christmas! My husband and I also liked how unpretentious Dr. Chenault is. She dresses just like everyone else and introduces herself by first name. She's extremely knowledgeable, kind, and confident. Everyone clearly explains what they're doing and why, and Dr. Chenault doesn't push unnecessary procedures or expense. This practice seems to have a great work culture, AND they're professional, competent, and do NOT give us the feeling that they're just working for kickbacks. Third place is a charm - we've finally found our eye doctor!

After a thorough exam of my eyes and general health, Dr Ferrell gave me my prescription, along with spot-on recommendations for my aging issues. My optician was extraordinary. She deftly took me through the many frame possibilities, resulting in the most comfortable and best-suited frames, along with lens type. With exquisite care she measured and marked them for distant and close vision. Well done!

My general care medical care provider referred me to Bailey Cove Eye care. It took about a month to be seen but some of that was in setting up the referral. I was in no hurry and had no emergent need. Dr. Ferrell seemed quite knowledgeable, thorough and relatable. He was very good about discussing pros/cons of various vision correction options with me. I am 50 years old so have seen plenty of medical offices. This is office is hands down the best encounter from friendliness, thoroughness and quality of care I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend Bailey Cove Eye care and without reservation.

I like this office, Dr.Ferrel is a very good eye Doctor, his staff is great, they take care of you when you walk into his office. You know everything will be done for good eye care. My friends use him my husband used him until he passed away. You will not be disappointed.. our eyes are important and we need good eye care.

I started going to Bailey Cove Eye Care about three or four years ago. I have always had great experiences there. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The office is very clean and decorated so nicely! The physician I see is wonderful and takes the time to explain things and answer all my questions. However, the greatest asset they have is Kathy. She is THE BEST! She's patient and kind and helps you pick the perfect frames that are flattering and comfortable. I won't go anywhere else!

Once you arrive, you don't have to wait around to be seen. Bailey Cove Eye Care is very punctual. The staff, technicians, and Dr. Chenault as so pleasant, professional, and caring. I don't feel "rushed" during my visits. Dr. Chenault takes all the time needed to answer my many questions.
