The intake person the nurse and the Dr all gave 10/10 world class service even though I was being rude. You have always taken care of my wife. I came to this location because the closest one did not have anything available. I am grateful they were able to see me last minute. The lady who took my appt was kind and very attentive. The front office receptionist was able to check me in and find my online paperwork. The wait to the get the initial testing wasn’t long at all. Waiting for the dr took a little bit but it was worth it because of how fast I was able to get an appt. My dr was very informative and able to get my prescription and get me going on my way. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to them.

Dr Ambrose is an amazing optometrist he is very knowledgeable, professional and has great chair side manners. I would refer anyone to see him. He always does a great job. I am new to Arizona and I was due for an eye exam. My insurance recommended a few places and I’m so glad I chose Wellness Vision in Goodyear. This is the first time that a doctor spends time explaining everything and does this in a way I can understand. Dr. Ambrose listens attentively and answers all questions. I have early stage glaucoma in both eyes and I feel good to have my eyes in the care of Dr. Ambrose.

Found this location after the frustration of other places trying to sell me the glasses after my exam and not listening when I stated I purchase my glasses online at Eyebuy Direct. these guys were on their referral list so when I went their I wasn't sure what to expect. The visit went well I was asked to provide some information condition, purpose of visit etc... was seen quickly once I turned in the questionnaire. They performed the eye exam and it was easy and the air puff test was much easier since they used a small hand held unit that was quicker and easier than some of the bigger units you see. I was then taken in to do the eye chart test and the provider Ryan Ambrose sat down introduced hisself asked a few more question and reviewed my concerns. he was pleasant, reviewed everything with me on the tests and was especially good at breaking everything down so I understood what was going on with my vision and why. This was my second visit here so he could see my previous script and explain the changes in my vision and provide context. After he provided a new Rx I went out from t and was asked if I wanted to look at glasses and frames there (they do have a nice selection) but as I stated at the beginning this was where I was having issues with other locations I had gone to in the past. I stated no thank you and there was no change in how I was treated. I received the information I needed to order on line last visit and asked if it would need to be updated and they answered without hesitation or any reservation. I was then given my Rx and they asked if I would like to have an itemized receipt and that was it. A very pleasant experience and as a result I will continue going here until given a reason not to. Very Pleased.

I recommend Vision Wellness above any vision center. If you have eye care needs or just beginning your journey for eye care this is the place to start. My daughter has been coming here for years…. We were so glad to find Dr Ambrose. First doctor to have fitted her contacts according to her eyes appropriately. Always friendly and thorough. They keep on time yet listen to all your concerns. If you need a change in your prescription they will let you know but if things haven't changed they aren't high pressure sales. We love everyone that works there

My appointment today was scheduled within minutes of stopping by the Verrado location. I was dealing with an allergy symptoms, specifically my right eye. Swelling, redness, itchy and draining for 3 days, I was miserable. Likely due to using mesquite to smoke a brisket for the Super Bowl. Excellent service and grateful for getting me in at the Avondale location. Thank you to all the staff at both locations. In less than 24 hours my right has improved significantly.

The Doctor and nurses are great! Very personable and enjoyable to work with, however the staff at the front desk and who answer the phone seem put off and less than friendly. Also, Jason who helped me with glasses was very personable and knowledgeable. Extremely helpful. But the pricing for the frames and glasses is over 100% more expensive than you can find for the same frames and similar lenses with just minimal searching.

Doctor provided good care. Felt that the optometrist was a bit abrupt and while she had definitive opinions, she did not provide reasons until asked. Also, rather than being offered various options for my lenses as I have been in past years at various other places, such as whether or not to add anti-glare and anti-scratch coating, etc. She simply presented me with a total and no explanation or breakdown for how she arrived at that figure. I was tired and hatching a migraine by that time, especially with the strong perfume odor in the facility, and so I made a rushed decision on my frame which conformed to the optometrist's recommendation. I should have left and come back later to choose frames, but did not. I do not feel comfortable in my new glasses and contacted Vision Wellness on-line a week ago to ask what the return policy is, as I did not find it in writing on any receipt or any other document I received. I have only received an acknowledgement of receipt of my inquiry, but am still waiting to be furnished with the return policy.

All staff were very professional and welcoming. They ask you questions and actually listen to you, unkike orher places where staff seem to follow a script. They have nice, modern and clean facilities. Regarding price, although I have insurance I saved $10 compared to what I used to pay at another place for a contact's fitting.
