Dr Tim is exceptional ! He has figured out my eyes, which has been challenging over the years for different Dr's. To use prisms or not, having suffered with headaches, etc, he got me on the right path!!! He uses state of the art equipment, his staff and glasses selection are the best in the Twin Cities!!

Dr. Haupert took his time explaining the results in a manner that was professional and understandable. Art of Optiks is always a great experience and the staff's dedication to customer service is incredible. I always get the best treatment possible and Dr. Haupert is extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain anything in as much detail as you need. Also the glasses selection is great and people always comment on how great my glasses look. I have never had any issues with the quality and reliability of my glasses and frames. In addition, I cannot wear glasses during hunting season (they fog up) and I have a challenges with contact lenses because of my astigmatism and trifocal prescription. Dr Haupert however was able to come up with a unique combination of lenses that have solved that problem for me. Absolutely amazing.

I love AoO and have always had great service. But, I have some concerns about quality of care I received at my exam 12 months ago. This year, I was told that my Rx has changed and I'm over-corrected. Which explains why the glasses I had made last year from that Rx never really felt right to me. Unrelated to quality of care is the merchandise in the store. It seems a great place for a woman to shop for glasses with lots of styles and choices. But for a man, there are relatively few choices and styles. IMO.

I was having some trouble with my eye causing me to not be able to wear contact. Art of Optiks was able to schedule me in same day. Phenomenal experience from walking in the door until I left. It is a little more fashionable and high end than I really need but the employees here were awesome. Done are my days of dark gloomy visits to the eye doctor.

Right when you walk in there is a pleasant greeting and a staff member ready to help you. Offering refreshments and help shopping for glasses is always great. The office and equipment are clean and state of the art. I love the machine that takes a picture of my eye so I don't have to receive dialation drops. Dr. Johnson explains items in a simple easy to understand manor. She is very knowledgeable on the latest products, and helps clarify differences in quality and performance form online brands. Overal my eyes could not be in better hands!

I have been been going to Dr. Haupert for eye exams for over 20 years. I go because I think he is the very best and has the most comprehensive eye exam I can imagine. His staff is also very competent , pleasant and accommodating. I cannot conceive of ever going anywhere else.

The gal who checked me out at the end was harsh when she found out the glasses I had asked to have adjusted were Warby Parker. She expressed attitude from that point on and was not very pleasant. I didn't appreciate feeling looked down on because I owned a pair of "$90 cheap glasses" as she was expressing rather than the $300-$400 pair I couldn't afford at the time from Art of Optiks. Everyone else was extremely kind and I very much enjoyed my experience overall. I just think it is feedback that needs to be noted, being a person who has worked at a front desk myself and knows the importance of a welcoming atmosphere.

One thing I noticed on my last visit is that the building no longer has the perfume added to the ventilation system - thank you for that, as I enjoy breathing plain fresh air.

I paid something like $60 for my last contact fitting here. I came into the office for a contact fitting and checkup. I was charged more than twice as much for my contact fitting than my last visit, and there was no mention of that at all until I got the bill.

Now only I but my wife and son are very pleased with Art of Optiks. It is significantly better than the last place we went. The last place we went to for over ten years and the five in our family purchased many pairs of glasses, sunglasses, and contacts but we were never treated as well as we are treated at Art of Optiks!

I continue to be satisfied. I have been coming for years. I now buy my eyewear ealswhere as I am on a more limited budget and can't afford the lines carried. A friend referred me to another location where she gets her eyewear -- I'm guessing lower overhead allows for the difference, which is significant, while still getting high quality frames and lenses.
