I had the best and most thorough eye exam at Alpine Vision in Lewiston that I have ever experienced! Dr. Noakes provided clear explanations and was obviously cares about his patient's vision. Alpine rocked it yesterday. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and felt very comfortable. Each staff member we dealt with was very professional and courteous! The Dr. was very thorough. He took his time and checked my daughters eyes really good. By the end of the appointment we felt even more comfortable. Could not have asked for better treatment!! My daughter is very shy until she gets to know someone. They made her feel welcomed. Thank you so much for that!!!

Compared to the last group that I saw when I had my eyes checked I was very impressed. I was walked through everything the we were doing so I had a clear understanding of what was going on and I was impressed the doctor Nathan Wilson spent very adequate time with me and went over every little detail even repeating himself if I needed it. Wonderful and professional service. Haven’t been to an eye doctor in 23 years. They made everything easy to understand and helped me see again. I have already referred one person there and they were seen two days later. They had perfect eye sight so they just bought sunglasses. Ha ha. Again. I brought my two young children (ages 4 & 6) and I felt the tech that helped the girls with their testing prior to seeing Dr. Wilson, was amazing! She took her time with the girls, made sure they felt comfortable and even gave them fruit snacks while waiting for the doctor. Our wait time between the tech and the doctor entering was seconds. I felt like my girls were in great hands. Thank you to Dr. Wilson and the staff at Alpine, always goes above and beyond with their patients.

The folks at Alpine are always very welcoming and helpful! Plenty of options for glasses and contacts, and they don't make you feel rushed when picking out new hardware. Dr Zollman is very professional, efficient, personable and willing to explain everything in the exam to you. Hardware prices are average as far as optometry offices go.

Fantastic staff, everyone I had encountered was all smiles and very personable. Sam was my tech and she was great, quick, funny and professional. I don't recall the guys name that helped me pick out frames but he was extremely helpful. Doc was great, she was very sweet. The frames were slightly more spendy than other places but you can easily see where that money goes with a great staff and excellent atmosphere.

Quality eye care - from the moment one walks into the office- the staff is friendly and welcomes you even though the phones are ringing and the office is busy - they take the time to immediately let you know - you are there. The eye exam pretest young lady did an excellent job explaining each step and making sure you are comfortable. The young lady optometrist was friendly; professional; and explained everything as she went along. When completed she went over all the findings and listened to what I would like in eye care - gave excellent advise on keeping my eyes healthy etc....

I have been going to Alpine Vision for about a year now. The office staff is very attentive to all my needs and friendliness abounds! Everything and everyone was great but I would like to leave a suggestion for people like me… I felt like I wasn't given much information or knowledge on my appointment overall. I had to ask when I went back to get my glasses, what my vision was. I also wasn't aware that I had an astigmatism.

EXCEPTIONAL service!! My daughter walked in to Alpine Vision Center not being able to see because her old glasses (from a different place) broke 4 times in the exact same place within one year and the warranty was up; they wouldn't fix them again without charging us for whole new frames. And she walked out with not only one new pair of glasses but TWO so she would have a backup. The two ladies that helped us up front were amazing and friendly and helped get my son scheduled soon as well. The tech who did Molly's initial tests was very good. She explained everything to Molly as she went along. Molly was comfortable and understood everything. Dr Zollman was very friendly. She talked to Molly with age appropriate language and made her feel very important in her own eye care. Garrett was absolutely amazing while helping Molly choose frames. He was a superhero to this momma. He made sure Molly left with new glasses so she wouldn't have to go to school for another day without them. We were expecting to get one pair then and the other pair later (which was ok) then Linda walked out with both pairs. The mysterious guy in the back that makes the glasses had put both pairs of her glasses together within 15 minutes. I was so impressed with Alpine Vision Center that I wondered why I hadn't gone their earlier.

Alpine Vision is the most friendly, efficient and professional office ever. I have worn glasses since the mid 90`s and it was not until I came to Alpine that I could actually see well through them. I wear progressive lenses and to be able to have perfect viewing without having to try and adjust them all over the place is so wonderful. If you are looking for the very best in vision care I recommend them explicitly.

I started having blurry vision in my left eye, so I asked around for a good clinic in the area. My family is new to the area, so I didn't have an old stand by to go visit. I was told Alpine was a solid establishment, so I gave you a try. I'm glad you were recommended as I had a great experience. My husband recently got glasses. We have always got regular glass lenses with photogray and they are covered by our insurance with a small copay. This time we ended up paying 170 dollars per lense + 105 dollars for for hi-index crizol lenses which we didn't want. He was told they couldn't photogray reg glass lenses. Funny thing, I have a pair they made and so does he. We have always been loyal to alpine vision, however my husband is a heart transplant patient and we don't have 200 extra to waste on glasses we don't need, so I guess next time we will be going elsewhere for our glasses.Shame on you!!!!

Very impressed with the guy who did my initial eye tests, as well as Dr. Zollman. The optician was very helpful with choosing glasses and even took my picture for me so I could see if my husband liked the glasses I picked. The front desk person was surprised to see me. There was some kind of mix up. She wasn't very warm to start with, like she had her own agenda. She did try to make up for it later. It didn't feel genuine though. Every one else on your staff was great. I think because of the wait time to start I felt at the end I was stressed to get out of there, knowing people were waiting for me so they could go home. I thought the prices of your glasses were way too high and even with the amount from insurance I could not afford your prices. I thought the Dr. was very nice and thorough though.

I thoroughly enjoy my visit to Alpin Vision. They are extremely efficient, knowledgeable and fun. From the moment I walked in I was greeted welcomed into the store. The Dr. Was very extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She also took the time to understand exactly what my needs where. Then at the end Garrett took an hour of his time helping me pick out my first set of glasses. He was extremely patient and gave me really good advice and tips on glasses and care. Plus he made it a really fun experience. Like I had my own personal shopper. Also when the glasses I wanted weren't in the US and would have to be shipped from Italy he called me and gave me my options of ordeking a black pair here or wait for the colored ones. Overall an amazing experience. I highly recommend them anyone!

They have up to date equipment that really shows what is going on with your eyes. Dr. Zollman explained all the test results with me so that I understood what was going on with my eyes. The great thing was with the machines they have....no need to dilate the eyes. Big plus for me. The rest of the staff is great too.

Very professional and welcoming. I didn't have to wait to be seen past my appointment time. The technician and doctor were both very personable and professional. The doctor was sure to check up with me on how my vision had changed and how we could both work on making sure my vision continued to change for the better and not degrade to a less desirable level. I like how varied the hardware selection is and how simple it is to find a pair, add the insurance coverage and find out how much, if any, I will be paying out of pocket. I have and will continue to recommend friends and family to get their optical care needs met at this office.

Great good quality eye doctor. Staff is very polite and are good at answering your questions. A little bit spendy on there glasses, as there selection is mainly top name brands(Oakley, etc...) The glasses they offer seem to be great in quality, but lack the options for some more budget friendly frames.

This place is amazing, The Technician is wonderful and caring and explains everything she is doing right away. She seems extremely experienced at what she was doing and very knowledgeable. Kirsten is amazing as well, She got me all my documentation together and ready before my appointment. The only concern I had was a darker haired lady who was unwelcoming and negative but it could of been one of her bad days in which I recommend to take a breather because she is the first person I saw when I came in. Doctor is amazing (:

It's been a long time since I have been to a "real" optometrist's office with professional staff. It was quite refreshing to see there are professional providers still available. I was very comfortable with Dr. Zollman and received answers to several questions regarding my vision and general eye health. Although I realize I have received the best care and will be receiving the best quality in lenses and frames, I was a little taken aback by the prices. Being charged per lens was a new one to me. Having a two-year warranty on the lenses and the assurance that they want to make sure I am happy with the new lenses and frames helps to accept the pricing. :-)

Extremely sensitive and empathetic to my accident. They were extremely helpful when it came time to pay for my glasses, and offered me numerous options. But most importantly, because they knew I needed glasses immediately, they made sure that my prescriptions were ready for me before I even left the office. Which is incredible, since with most offices you are waiting up to a week for them to come in. Fantastic customer service! Best I have ever had.

I loved everything about my appointment. Super friendly, knowledgeable, open, helpful staff! I was taken back within minutes of my arrival and whisked through the initial tests, without feeling as if I was being rushed or "someone more important" needed the room. Dr. Wilson made me feel at ease dispite my initial nervousness. He gave me his undivided attention and answered all my questions without any signs of exasperation or impatience. All in all it was a five star experiance and I will be happily referring people to this fine business!

Would have been nice to see on paper my financial options. I didn't realize that some charges were "per" lens and it wasn't explained. It would also be nice if you were to point out less expensive frames as an option. We were newbies and didn't really know the drill as they say. We were just told to pick out a frame.

Waited well past my appt time of 3:30 to be taken back. After the first set of tests I has left in the very warm room for at least 10 min. (feels like forever when no one is there) after that I was sent to the Drs office where I waited again for her to come in. She was nice, however I do not understand what exactly my issue is with my eyes. Owell, once I get my glasses it won't matter....however the high pressure sales lady was very helpful until I told her I was not paying above my deductible. Then she just blew me off rather than offer me other options. I will NOT refer anyone to your office. My wife loves you guys, but my experence has lost you at least two patients.

I know it is important that the business makes money, but it was way too obvious that I was expected to buy new glasses there, even though mine were just a year old and I had no change in my vision (and my lenses are expensive). The lady was clearly shocked that I'm not willing to buy glasses from there. It wasn't an option presented to me, it was a strong expectation, and I was told at least three times that I can come back anytime, and buy my glasses right there... :)

I was impressed with how quickly our glasses were done and ready (next day) but I was not told or offered lenses that are scratch resistant...I don't know if these lens are scratch resistant or if they aren't if there is a warranty for scratches. Other than that, the experience here was great.

First visit was great, but the most recent one, I had to wait 56 minutes before the doctor came into the exam room. I understand that their computers had been down that morning, but I would have liked to have been told early on that they were running behind so that I could have expected a wait, or could have chosen to reschedule. I felt that my time was not being valued. Also, they need to be less pushy about selling glasses right after the exam. And it shouldn't take them 5 minutes to look up a price for a frame. Those should be posted on the frame to make my shopping experience easier.

I was greeted immediately and given information update paperwork to fill out. A very pleasant and competent technician took me through some preliminary scans and tests for eye function and eye health. I was treated as complex 3 dimensional person by the staff rather than a myopia case. I appreciated the time that Dr. Wilson took to explain issues that impact the health of my vision, showing me the digital pictures of the interior of my eyes and reviewing the importance of managing blood sugar levels. A technician helped me select the lens package that worked best for my needs and explained the financial options making it easy for me to make a selection. A third technician who was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, as well as very pleasant, took me through the measuring procedure in order to properly place the bifocal/magnification portion of the lens in the correct location. My wife now plans to call Alpine Vision to discuss options for her. Good experience!

Every time I have been in there I feel like there is an over emphasis placed on ordering glasses/contacts at the time of service. I also think the contact fitting fee is ridiculous for someone that has already been wearing contacts regularly. That is not covered by insurance so a $20 appointment turns into an $80 appointment with really no option if you need to try a new prescription out.

I have been visiting the eye doctor every six months as a child and as an adult every year. This was the first time in my life that I left a eye doctors appointment and couldn't see. I brought this to the attention of the doctor at the end of my initial appointment but she assured me it would get better as my contacts settled. I didn't. On the drive home that night and the drive to work the next day I couldn't read street signs or see well anything at a distance of greater than 100 feet. I had to come in again to see another doctor to try and get my prescription right. Again in all my years going to various eye doctors I have never had to go back for a second visit. I am very disappointed in the staff at Alpine Vision and will not be going back again.

The entire staff including Dr. Wilson is young and upbeat yet very professional and knowledgeable. This was my first eye exam in about 40 years. I am very happy to be getting glasses at age 64 so I can quit messing with cheap reading glasses. Dr. Wilson was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns about being able to see my sights on my handguns and archery hunting equipment.

Dr. Wilson showed me the pictures of my eyes and compared my photos to other eye photos with various medical conditions. I learned a lot from the experience and gained confidence in the status of my vision and my general health. I also ordered the worlds most expensive gradient perscription, polarized,crizol, mirrored, anti-fog, safety lens sunglasses known to man! They should be great!
