It was a wonderful and pleasant first time cleaning teeth experience for my son. Ashley is a wonderful hygienist. She had a performance for my kid. My son got a baloon and a dental goody bag. He said that he liked his first dental experience and he wll be back. :) I have being going to Ashley myself a few years in a row. I’m a new patient to your practice, I’ve canceled several appointments out of fear of dentists but after meeting your entire staff: I’m never canceling another appointment. I felt so safe, I felt comfortable and in good hands. I normally carry a towel that I twist up, tug on and treat as my safety blanket. I had no need for it, I honestly forgot that I had it with me.

I don't have to wait at all! That's just amazing. I don't understand why it is considerate acceptable to wait for a medical appointment when you are making it upfront for a certain time. With Dr. Alex Rader I've never waited. It was always on time. The stuff it very professional. They took time to understand your personal needs and concerns. Nothing has changed since the closure last year, people are welcoming and helpful as usual. Professional air purifiers are installed in every room and masks requirements are enforced strictly. The hawks that were hovering above the Newell area were not there on June 4th, maybe they have their own Covid restrictions relief schedule.

It was my first appointment with the team and the experience so far has been fantastic! Probably THE best experience I had in a dental office. I showed up at Dr. Rader's office with a advancing cavity without a solid proposition by my prior dentist as to a sound course of treatment, and the possibility of being referred to a specialist if it did not go as planned... Dr. Rader assessed the circumstance and proposed a course of action, as the doctor has the CERAC machine he was able to propose the required root canal and crown for a complete solution on one visit, now in hindsight" WOW" hardly says enough... We trust Dr. Rader implicitly. He certainly is not the cheapest dentist around, but the quality of his work is worth the cost. My wife and I have been his patients since 2013 when we moved to Walnut Creek. In fact we flew up to his office yesterday from Irvine, where we have since moved, for an honest assessment and cleaning. He has state of the art equipment in his office which negates having to send work out, thus reducing turnaround time.

Front office does a great job scheduling. I’ve never had to wait more than 5-10 min to bee seen. Beautiful office, clean, and new equipment. My hygienist, Ashley, does an awesome job. Had a lot of work done by Dr Rader and keep coming back every time. Had an emergency and he came in on the weekend outside of the working hours to take care of me. He is a great dentist with a ton of services I have not seen anywhere, the 3D scan of mouth and making the crowns on a 3D printer do u can get everything done in one appointment. Post follow up is great.

The services provided by Dr. Rader and his technicians are outstanding. However, the person who handles billing is absolutely terrible. She had no idea what limit of my insurance dental coverage is, and kept arguing with me until I asked her to check directly with them. Then she calculated the wrong amount of patient's portion, mishandled the past billing process and failed to even once apologize for her mistakes. The entire experience of dealing with her is a huge turn off, I do not trust her to handle my money, copay and billing options. Would not recommend it to my friends or family, due to ongoing negative experience and frustration of dealing with her.

Though it was my first visit and the main purpose was imaging...photographs and X-rays, the team members were friendly, confident, efficient and very welcoming. Effort and care have obviously been taken to make the setting warm and inviting: earth tones, lots of soft light, rounded corners. I am so thankful to be a patient here.

Amazing friendly staff ALMOST makes the dentist enjoyable! Normally I see Cynthia as my hygentist, who I prefer, but everyone is fine. The highlight is Pamela and the other receptionist with the curly hair who are unbelievably sweet. I know they must put notes in my chart and remember to chat about whatever we last talked about, but it comes across as very sincere. Oh, ya, Dr. Radar is great too. No offense but I try hard so that I don't spend much time with him since that would mean cavities or worse!

We came to Alex after the other dentist who my wife chipped her tooth and her previous dentist told her that she needed either an implant or a bridge. Alex fixed her tooth -- no implant, no bridge, no problem. It is probably better than it was. He did restorations on her teeth and mine. The only problems I had were a few minor adjustments. I like my teeth. All other people working in the office are very nice too. Very good practice.

The woman who does the teeth cleaning is great. She does a great job of explaining everything, and cleans teeth very well. I had mentioned having some cold sensitivity in some of my teeth. Dr. Rader came in hurriedly, took 20-30 seconds looking inside my mouth, and told me to have a nice day. I felt like he was in a rush and didn't take the time to understand what the issues were. They gave me some special toothpaste that is supposed to help with sensitive teeth.

Dr. Rader charged $200 for a visit that lasted approx. 15 minutes. Charge included $125.00 for "emergency treatment". Except, there was no emergency and NO TREATMENT. Dr. Rader suggested I have 2 teeth extracted - a diagnosis which my dentist of 35+ years rejected. I would never refer anyone to his office. Dr. Rader is clearly charging exorbitant and unwarranted fees. This bill was "adjusted" after I complained. Reduced by one half. Seems to me a clear sign that the original fee was grossly unfair.
