Connor gave great service to my son, gave us some options but with his professional opinion as well. As a side, when I was going to pay I suddenly became very light headed and needed to sit down, the front office staff were amazing, got me some water and ensured that I was ok. While this was embarrassing for me, the staff couldn't have been more professional and caring. Thank you very much I certainly appreciate it.

My appointment for the fitting was months a go. It took several months to get the actual brace. I was told that I fell through the cracks. I am low income and had to get help financing it, I feel like that influenced the quality of service I received. I don't think the brace fits well, but I'm giving it some time before I do anything about it.

The staff take all precautions when it comes to Covid. Although my appointment to get my brace was cancelled just about an hour before, it was due to an abundance of caution. They managed to get me into Calgary the next day. The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient.

The staff professional and efficient. The practitioner that I seen to fit my brace has a great bedside manner - very refreshing as several medical professionals in the sports field have never experienced what it is to get behind the eightball after an injury. If you're carrying extra weight, they make you feel as though you have no control over your life. This experience was not like that at all - she was very kind.

This is an excellent place to go for orthotic/prosthetic supplies and support. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, caring professionals and they are focused on meeting the needs of their clients. The lady that I deal with regularly, Carla Reimer, always does an outstanding job of selecting the braces that I need and informing me of everything that I need to know about them. I wouldn't consider going to anyone else or to anywhere else for these services.

My experience with Carla is that she only sold one brace without truly explaining the benefits of the brace. Once the brace arrived and I had questions on the feel and the impact on the rest of my muscles she could not answer them. I found this experience to be more sales based then it was truly finding the right fit for my needs.

Carla has been great from the first time I met with her. Assessed what I needed quickly and got the brace to me when she said she would. Any time I’ve been in to have it adjusted she’s been very quick and efficient. We also chatted about personal trainers and she gave me an awesome recommendation. The trainer has made a huge difference as has the brace Carla fitted me for. Excellent customer service.

The lady in your Calgary office was very helpful in switching my appointment to the Banff clinic because I live in Canmore. My Orthotist Carla Reimer saw me earlier than expected and she was very professional , courteous and reassuring In discussing my brace needs. Have been to AB O&P a few times over the years and have always seen Connor. To say that Connor is empathetic, kind & personable, as well as informative would definitely be an understatement. I’ve never regretted at any time choosing AB O&P Centre, it will always be my go to Centre. Can’t say anything negative about reception either. Although, during the fitting appointment details were explained clearly, I did find this to be very rushed. The option was offered to contact the office if I had any questions. Orthodic measurements were taken.with an understanding that I would be called for a fitting appointment in Banff. No call came. Upon contacting office I was informed orthodics had been ready for some time however, Banff office appointments were now filled for the day fittings take place there. This necessitated a drive in to Calgary for fitting.. Orthodics now need adjustment however its too late for service for an upcoming trip. A disappointing lack of communication and professionalism.

The best prosthesis in the world is rubbish if it does not fit properly. It is all about the relationship that you have with your prosthetist, and the knowledge they bring. Michelle and John were very supportive in my early years of being in Canada when, to be honest, they did not have to be. My foot broke on holiday, I found them online, explained my predicament, and we set up an appointment where they fixed it for me at no charge. Embarrassingly, it happened a year later when again on holiday ! And they fixed it again ! There was no doubt in my mind where to go when I became a Permanent Resident. Since then, Michelle has been fabulous. I can be quite stubborn, and she always knows the line to take - sometimes she has to wait for me to come around; sometimes she simply tells me to listen to her. I was very resistant over moving to a suction liner, but I eventually came around, and have not looked back... a fact that she likes to jovially remind me about when I am being stubborn about something else ! Like I said, it's all about knowing your prosthetist, and them knowing you. When Michelle is unavailable, John has picked up the reins. They are a great team. So much so, that it can be difficult to get an urgent appointment. But if they are busy, and one of them is on holiday, it seems only rude of me to expect them to kick another patient out to look after me. I can survive a couple of days until they can squeeze me in. Rather that than go somewhere else.
