I was on a mission to find an eye doctor that would accommodate all six of my children. I also wanted to find an office that would accept Peachstate Insurance. Being that I have six children, I understand that they all can’t be seen on the same day. But here at Advanced Family Eyecare, my kids appointments were booked that same week I called! Three kids on one day & the other three on the next day. A lot of offices that I was reaching out to would not take all six kids within reasonable timing. It would be broken up appointments up to 4-5 weeks away from each other. Then there would be 3-4 different appointments. So we are very grateful that we were recommended here. The staff was beautiful & professional. The doctor, Dr. Gardner, was so impressive & informative. She was able to detect “congenital cataract” in my daughter’s eyes that I had NEVER been told by her previous optometrist. It was incredible. The experience was amazing. I’ll definitely recommend this office. 10 out of 10!

All of the staff there were amazing! Ellie (Elizabeth), who did the testing and photos of my daughter's eyes was so sweet and works great with children! Dr. Gardner was also super sweet and works well with children. I highly recommend this office!

Advanced Family Eyecare we're able to accommodate a walk in appointment on a short day which I was grateful for. Dr. Crystal Gardner without a doubt is the reason I come back often. Frame selection isn't has wide as other optometrist locations but they have some good ones.

Dr. Gardner is very well informed. She answers all my questions and gives good advice. Her office personnel do a great job of running the tests. I like the way there are specific staff members that do specific things to assist you when you walk in the door and when you decide what frames you choose. Very friendly staff members and the office is always orderly and very clean.

Dr. Gardner offers great service to her patients! However, the staff up front when you come in is rude and not kind to customers. They appear is be bitter and do not like their jobs. I hope the staff up front changes to more happy and helpful human beings. Kindness is Free while, the services provided cost customers Money!!!

This is, by far, one of the nicest & best medical offices I have had the pleasure of being a patient at. The front office is so friendly & greets me as I walk in the door. Then there is Ellie...she is *amazing* to say the least. If ALL medical staff were like her then office visits would become very pleasant & welcoming! Then we have Dr. Crystal Gardner~ She is wonderful & makes you feel like you matter. Dr. Gardner is thorough & explains everything in a way that you can comprehend. She is compassionate & she truly listens to your questions & concerns. So happy I was led to her & her office.

I came in for a contact lenses fitting (third times the charm right?) and glasses prescription update. Dr. Gardner was very nice and knowledgeable on the different options she presented to me. The brand of contact lenses she recommended for me are perfect, i can’t even tell they’re in. I also learned during my appointment why my eyes constantly feel dry which is something I’ve been dealing with for over a decade. I’d definitely recommend Advanced Family Eyecare to anyone looking to get glasses or contacts. Dr. Gardner and her staff are amazing!

I am highly disappointed by the actions regarding me getting a non glare addition to my lenses for night driving. I paid for the addition to my lenses and was called 2 days later stating a policy that said it had been too long to make this a situation that would require me to purchase new lenses. I believe I should have not be in this position and the ball was dropped by the eyeglass company.

My daughter absolutely loves Dr. Gardner. We always do our appointment together and I feel absolutely comfortable going back first or her doing her exam without me right there in the room. She makes you feel like she legit cares and that's such an amazing feeling when it comes to our children. They always make sure she's comfortable they keep me informed about her throughout the appointment. We got there 10 mins early and both seen the doctor had our exam and picked our new frames out all by the time our actual appointment was. They're amazing we love them there

I had an issue with the billing department. In my opinion it was a matter of the insurance data being interpreted the wrong way. A phone call to the insurance provider could have cleared the situation up. Instead I was requested to sign a form stating I may be billed for service that I received that day. I would have liked to have known whether my insurance would cover an exam or I would have to come out of pocket before I left the office that day.

This was my 1st visit and I was very pleased with the exam. I wanted to get my new glasses in my old frames but they would not do that and ended up costing me a lot more money than I had planned to spend. Also I wanted to get some frames that had sunglasses attached to them and I was not able to do that so I was not happy about that. The doctor and staff were very nice people.

Dr. Crystal is a good eye doctor, she's professional, nice, patient, and friendly, something you don't normally find with doctors, the young lady that tended to me with services before the doctor came in was nice, patient, kind, and friendly as well, I felt welcomed and not rushed, staff works well together, and my appointment time was not long, (I like when I go to appointments that don't keep me waiting and waiting) it's very clean and not dim looking like some offices I've gone to, overall, it was a pleasant experience, a good place to go for your eye care services.

I have been seeing Dr. Garner for several years. The last visit, i made my annual appointment online. The options to select for the visit were eye-glasses or contacts. Well, at this point, i was set on having Lasik. I probably should have called the office to let them know my plans but i didn't. In the office, I told Dr. Garner, I want to have Lasik Surgery. She was awesome and without a glitch she was very accommodating and explained the process so that i would know what to expect from the consult to followup care. She has world-class office staff where they provide outstanding service and support. I love the office; it's is very clean.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was given awesome customer service. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. The Optometric Assistant blew me away with great service, even having the staff vote on the two frames I had picked out. I never even made it to the waiting area, I was immediately taken care of. Dr. Gardner is such a good doctor, she didn't rush me, answered all my questions, explained everything in simple terms, and really valued me as a patient. Robert took the time to explain every detail and pricing on my frames, he wanted to make sure I got exactly what I needed. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get an eye exam and glasses!!

This was the worse office visit I have ever experienced. This is saying a lot since I am 68 years old. I loved the Dr but the office staff was lacking in customer service and professionalism. When I said I was ordering my glasses somewhere else the assistant basically began to lecture me in a condescending tone, ending with the remark, "I'm just trying to educate you." She then gave me a paper which had on it -- Why you shouldn't buy cheap glasses. The cheap glasses remark she assumed since I never told her how much I was prepared to pay... Before she began to attempt to deliver my contact fitting she wanted to make sure to tell me the price which she repeated several times. When I replied ok several times, she followed that up with, "She just wanted to make sure I was aware?" All this only to find out she could not complete the contact fitting because the office did not have the strength of contacts I needed to complete the service. The vision examination, delivered by a different staff person was something else altogether. She seemed not to have a keen understanding of how the equipment worked. The one machine kept repeating on my right eye until I finally asked her if that was supposed to happen. She never gave an explanation but stopped the machine and started over. She then called someone else in to assist her mentioning she had only done it twice. I assumed she meant this was only her second time performing this particular test which made me wonder how accurate the results would be and why someone didn't come in with her to assist her in the first place. Oh did I mention that the person who checked me in was eating at the front desk?

Great service. Dr. Garder was very nice and patient. Her team was very collaborative and helpful. The office was clean and organized. Everyone wore a mask and washed their hands ongoingly. I called the same day and was able to get an appointment. During my appointment, I went into about 5 different rooms to use the different equipment which I didn't mind because I got to meet all of the sweet staff members. I would have rated them a 5 star if they included my PP on my exam printout. Not a vast choice of glasses.

Very friendly and professional atmosphere. The office was clean, sanitized and precautions were being taken such as masks, sanitizer, and disinfecting. The technician who took me back first was very professional and told me exactly what was happening before she did it. Dr. Gardner was excellent, she described everything in layman's terms, was very thorough, did not rush, and I could tell she really cared about helping me with my vision issues. Amazing! Simply amazing. From the moment I walked through the door, everyone was pleasant, knowledgeable, and adhering to Covid guidelines. I didn't have to wait long to get my appointment started either. Each step of the exam was explained to me, which made the process even easier. Once I got to Dr. Gardner, she was an absolute gem! I contacted your office to find out how much it would be for contacts for my children . I gave one child’s information and was told that the insurance would cover everything but 5 dollars for contacts . I asked to make an appointment for another child and specifically asked so the insurance would cover everything but the 5 dollars and was told yes . I made a same day appointment because this child’s glasses were broken and she couldn’t see . So she went in for the exam watched a video tried to put the contacts in herself all the while I sat in the waiting room with no one explaining that there was a fitting fee or that the child because of her age did not qualify for the same contacts as the other child because of her age . I sat down after everything was done to get a run down on the expenses I wasn’t made aware of . It was 82 dollars for the visit and fitting fee and 144 dollars for the contacts out of pocket . I stared at the lady in disbelief and it’s the second time I felt like I had to haggle with your office to only pay for services rendered instead of an upsale . I felt like I was at a used car dealership. I was put in a very bad spot my children my husband and I have been clients for years and the feeling I got and service was simply unacceptable. When I told the lady that I was told 5 dollars she simply told me I can’t change what the doctor has ordered . I told her to reference to my other child’s chart and she said yes the difference was the children’s ages and that’s why the product was different. Nevertheless. I will not be doing any business with you guys anymore. I’m not haggling an upsale or sitting there feeling like I was led to believe one thing and now I’m out money I wasn’t prepared to spend . I’m done and so is my family .

Dr. Gardner is an extraordinary optometrist. She is very knowledgeable and well rounded. Dr. Gardner made me feel comfortable and at ease during my visit. Always a good experience. Well scheduled, so there's no long wait. Thorough exam and Dr. Gardner takes the time to talk and answer all questions. No high pressure sell for expensive frames. Just excellent, professional service.

My experience was GREAT! It was my son's first visit and everything went well. He was excited about taking the eye exam and speaking with Dr. Gardner. He especially liked the fact that he can wear glasses. My experience, as usally was good. Everyone was professional, friendly, and helpful.

I just say this visit was better than the last visit. The staff was a little friendlier this time. However, there is still much improvement needed. The doctor is too nice to have just barely average staff.

Dr Gardner is the best dr I have I wish she was my MD dr. Also. The staff is friendly I always feel comfortable coming here. Just LOVE the atmosphere.

The staff here is very friendly and polite. I just don't like the fact that when I go through the scariest of exams that I don't get a chance for my eyes to focus. When I come in with my glasses on and then have to take them off to read the letters or numbers, my eyes need to adjust to that first. How accurate is that in determining what's going on with my vision.
