I have been seeing Dr. Calhoun for decades and have always been happy with my care, preventative care etc. I also like that he remembers me and my medical history so he knows what to watch for. After seeing many eye doctors over the past 60 years, I would rate Dr. Calhoun in the upper 1% of those that I have experienced. He is not only highly knowledgeable, but able to discuss eye conditions and remedies in a very understandable and informative manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaminska for almost 40 years. He is the most thorough and insightful man. I know he always gives me the time needed for my eye issues. Dr. Calhoun explains things clearly and makes sure his patients don't go away with questions. I woke up one morning noticing flashes, and immediately called the office (on a Saturday) as I remembered the Doctor explaining that this can be serious and should call ASAP. I was in his office by Monday, and sure enough, the Doctor can see I had a detached retina. He immediately called a specialist and we began treatment the same day for the condition. Had I not been informed, and put it off, I most likely would have lost sight in the eye within a month or two. Happy to say my retina was re-attached and is doing well, and I still can see out both eyes a year and a half Later.

I had an new and unexpected problem with one on my eyes, late at night. It did improve quiclkly again, but I called Advanced Eyecare the next morning anyway. I was greatful to receive an appointment for that very day, and greatful to Doctor Schwach. He was great. He took the time to listen to details of what happened with my eye, examined it thoroughy with and without contrast, explained what he thought had happened, and told me how to follow up with my primary physician. I was relieved to have such great concern and attention paid, and look forward to good eye care in the future at Advanced Eyecare.

Great experience even though I give them a hard time and act like I have a pickle up my ass. I hate doctors and tests, eye things. Even though I act like a child and not my age, I just hate going it’s torture and tormenting to go through the procedures. Everyone is great except for me. While waiting for the doctor I almost left because I thought in my eyes I was done doing the testing.

Nice new office. Clean. Prompt Dr Schwach as well. The woman that did the pre-testing could have been more pleasant. Didn't welcome me or give me her name and didn't say what tests she was doing and why. The optition was good as well. The lack of 5 stars is only due to the pre-testing woman. Didn't care for her. Meetup with Dr. Calhoun as my "new" glasses weren't stopping the double vision. He examined and then sent me to Greg to order new lenses with prisms back. As it turns out, Greg said that what I was wearing were the old lenses with prisms. I then realized that somehow I had confused my glasses!!!! He suggested that I immediately begin wearing the glasses with the prisms removed and wait a few day to see it things were better. Obviously I could see better BUT still having double vision. I will come back on Tuesday 17th to see Greg again. DUMB error on my part and hopefully we all can fiigure this out. Thanks to all over there. See you next week. David Aquino

I've been using contacts for over 15 years and of course have been seeing eye doctors my whole life. Dr. Calhoun and his staff are by far the best I have ever been to. They're more advanced and thorough than any other eye dr I have been to. Dr. Calhoun makes you feel comfortable and he never tries to sell you a specific (expensive) brand of contacts like the doctors at Sears or Walmart. He listens to what you like.

I've been coming to this office for many years and in the past, and now as well you get greeted when you walk in the door. I've dealt with Craig too for many years and I am always happy with the choices I've made and the help he always gives. Always easy to carry on a conversation with him too. But I have to add too that I miss Nancy, she was so easy to talk to and always pleasant. And the Dr always answers my questions and is very informative and explains what he is doing as well.

I knew it was going to be difficult to go to a new eye dr. after having seen Dr. Martin for so long, but every person in your office was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, which eased my concerns from the start. I felt that the eye exams and all other aspect of care were thorough, done compassionately and without a sense of being rushed giving me the confidence that any problems would be discovered and taken care of promptly. I especially liked that way that procedures and results were explained with my questions welcomed and answered fully. I love my new glasses, and feel like Advanced Eyecare is a great place to meet my current and future vision needs.
